2) Off Line Tests Before BTS power on , it is required to prepare MMI computer and install the related software This computer must have a network card. This part includes three tests groups.

- Site configuration settings It is depended on designated configuration of site (1+1+1, 2+2+2 , … )
MCT

a
default setting
for the configurations
to optimize the
cabling , but user may change this cabling and configure whatever he wants. Now BTS must be restarted .
2-b)Boards test - Fault LED of E1 blinking OK
If site is configured blinking
N0-chain , with loop back of Main E1 connectors
will be disappeared. But if site is configured chain, the chain E1
connectors must be looped for disappearing the E1 blinking .
- SRU-OMT Loop back check (for all boards) OK
This test is performed from MMI menu. Get sure that to be looped. BER=0 is the condition that passes this test.

-SRU-TRX Loopback check (for all boards) - main OK - diversity
OK
Before this test TRX output must be connected to main or diversity inputs. BER<0.001 is the default threshold to pass this test.
2-c) Power Amplifier test Output of PAU
OK Out power of Combiner OK
It is important that PAU output or combiner output must be connected to a load or power meter before Enabling TRX with maximum power.
