The film speed is a value which indicates the levelof the film'ssensitivity to light,as set by the ISO (lnternational Standardization Organization). The cameradisplaysthe film speed on the displaypanelin a rangefrom 6-6400. The higherthe ISO number, the higherthe film's sensitivityto light. While film with a higher sensitivityis more suitablefor lowlight situations. The higherthe film speed film, the lowerthe levelof lightrequiredfor photography, and so picturescan even be takenin darkplaces.
