INTRODUCTION
CEU ACCREDITATION
This course is designed to introduce you to the basics of obstetric ultrasound imaging.
Accredited according to the HPCSA CPD Guidelines for Health Professionals for 30 CEU’s on level 2. (Worshop: 12 CEU’s · Assessment: 18 CEU’s)
This course links up with the previous course on general diagnostic ultrasound also presented by FPD.
CERTIFICATION
The South African Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology has categorized obstetric scanning into 3 levels and this course will attempt to bring scanners up to level 2 so that they will feel comfortable about the basic obstetric scan, about fetal growth and behaviour and to recognize most structural fetal anomalies.
To qualify for the certificate of completion for this short course, participants should fully attend the workshop as well as successfully complete the assessment process. COURSE FEE R 4 500 (Inclusive of all VAT and taxes where applicable).
LEARNING OUTCOMES
This includes all study material, inclusive of the textbook, Obstetric Obstetric and Gynecological Ultrasound made easy. Travel and accommodation costs are excluded.
