Notes For Used Equipment: Marine risers to be inspected by Tuboscope, Vetco or equivalent. All pipe welds (circumferential or longitudinal) and coupling welds are to be ultrasonically or magnetic particle inspected. Spot checks are to be made on used risers to determine wall thickness and to verify whether here has been any excessive internal wear. All couplings are to be cleaned and inspected. The frequency of inspection must be as per API regulation. Choke and kill lines to be pressure tested to working pressure connections to be MPI inspected and wall thickness spot checks of body are required (Yes/No). The frequency of inspection must be as per API regulation. Used blow-out preventers to be completely dismantled, inspected by a Company approved established inspection party and re-assembled. They are to be shop tested by blanking off the top and bottom and the body tested to the original body test pressure (normally 1.5 time the WP). Rams and bag type preventer to be tested to their working pressure. The frequency of inspection must be as per API regulation.
