PROCEDURE No: PSP-TPDP-A-T18-08 REVISION 0 Page 3 of 5
RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Test Engineer shall be responsible for conducting / supervising all inspections and tests and signing of records all relevant documents. b. Test Engineer shall ensure that all function tests are in accordance with specified requirement. c. CA shall be responsible for certifying the pump after testing. 7.0
PROCEDURE PREPARATION
The following utilities and temporary systems will be required to complete the test procedure: 7.1.
Power 24VDC supply system
Check and ensure that a 24VDC power supply source is provided t o all transmitters of Fusible Plug Loop schematic. 7.2.
Pneumatic supply system
Compressed air system shall be provided for operation of F usible Plug Loop Panel. 7.3.
Valves
Two (2) three way valves are needed for simulation. 8.0 PROCEDURE 8.1
Test start-up
a. Isolate and make the test circuit as following steps:
Open valves VB-1, VB-3, VB-5, VB-7, VB-9
Close valves VB-2, VB-4, VB-6, VB-8
Adjust filter regulator PCV-8013 at 58psig
Adjust pressure regulator PCV-8011 and PCV-8012 at 40psig
Connect three way valves (for simulation) to bulkhead B1 and B6 with closed status of vent port for initial position.
PROCEDURE No: PSP-TPDP-A-T18-08 REVISION 0 Page 4 of 5
b. Supply compressed air to Instrument Gas Supply B1 (at inlet of t hree way valve) and Nitrogen Supply Bulkhead B3. c. Verify that Pressure Gauge PG-8011 indicates 40psig d. Open VB-4, VB-6 and close VB-3, VB-5 to test the function of Pressure Control Valve PCV-8012 and verify that Pressure Gauge PG-8011 still indicates 40psig e. Push to charge relay HS-8011 to charge the fusible plug loop f. Verify that Pressure Gauge PG-8012 indicates 40psig g. At the same time three (3) pressure trans mitters PZT-8011A/B/C will show pressure 40psig h. Release pressure in fusible plug loop on three way valve at bulkhead B6 to simulate fire situation i.
Verify that pressure in fusible plug loop be lost and pressure gauge PG-8012 and three pressure transmitters PZT-8011A/B/C indicate less than 15psig
j.
Release inlet pressure on three way valve at bulkhead B1 to simulate pressure loss of instrument air supply
k. The three-way pilot Operated Valve (SR-8011) will switch over flowing from Regulator PCV-8013. Verify that pressure gauge PG-8012 maintains showing pressure 40psig (In future flow going from Regulator PCV-8013 will be nitrogen provided for replacing utility gas in t he case of loss of utility gas pressure less than 73 psig.) 8.2 Test Completion
9.0
Ensure that all components are set back as before test.
