1 I think in 50 years' time, flies will become gigantic, thanks to science, and they will be used for transport. This type of transport will be called : ! !" " T#$%&IT T#$%&IT.There .There will be seats on the back of this insect for passengers.lies will passengers.lies will be used only for short routes, because, if ourneys are too long, the flies will tire. or long routes, the people of the future will use rockets. They will be like cars nowadays ( e)ery family will ha)e one. *hen they go on holidays, most people will go to the moon, with their rockets, and will stay in a hotel, or in their house. The principal acti)ity on the moon will be werewolf+hunting. If they don't like this place, they will go to undersea cities, to practise scuba di)ing. I hope I will be ali)e to see all this

&ince the human race appeared, the -arth is picking on us . Indeed, the -arth imposes limits on us, but I truly belie)e that the roles are going to change in a short period, especially thanks to new forms of transport. Just forget your life for a moment moment and imagine yourself in a different world : welcome to the 22nd century. It is se)en o/clock a.m. !ike e)ery morning you eat your breakfast and you dress yourself. Thirty minutes later, you are ready to commute to work. efore lea)ing, you take the bin out and you meet your neighbour who/s on his flying+ironing+board. Today Today you don/t take your own board because you ha)e a meeting in another continent. &o you go upstairs, you enter your canon. $2 3. i)e minutes later, you ha)e crossed the 4acific ocean. "ou "ou/re /re almost late. &ummer is approaching, and you ha)e nothing planned for your holidays. "ou "ou open a tourism magaine which proposes )ery cheap tra)el. !ast year, you went to the -arth/s center but you found it too warm, that/s why you want to change. Then you se e an ad)ertisement for gala6y tra)el, but you know how easy it is to get ill in space, so you look for another trip. inally, you disco)er this one : a company has e6perimented a time+tra)elling+machine, and is searching for )olunteers for its maiden )oyage. *ill you apply for it

In 50 years time, forms of transport might ha)e totally changed. Traditional ways of tra)elling might not be the same. #esearchers and e)eryone on earth wonder about what these forms of transport will be like. Imagination has no limits &cience+fiction can pro)e it. I think that in 50 years time, it will be easier to tra)el, maybe safer. *e might co)er long distances in a )ery short time 2achines will di)ide tra)ellers in tiny particles that will go from one part of the uni)erse to another at the speed of light. Tramways and tubes will be a thing of the past, workers will lea)e home in bubbles which will take them to work. orms of transport will respect the en)ironment, with no more no6ious gas emissions. In 50 years time, I'll take my holidays on 2ars. I'll go there with the particle machine and I'll take ad)antage of the sun with special sunglasses and I'll )isit all the museums about 2artians, and science fiction history.
7 In the ne6t 50 years transport may impro)e, so what will our holidays be like $nd how will we tra)el In 50 years I hope that a new huge nature+friendly fuel will power our engines and replace nuclear energy. %ew anti+gra)ity cars will be floating o)er our heads like in some mo)ies and will be powered by wind or sun energy. 4eople who ha)e old cars and who cannot afford to buy a new anti gra)ity car will be allowed to transform their old cars into ho)ercraft and will use them to tra)el all around the world. I hope that I will spend future holidays on the moon or maybe in the ocean. To go to these new holiday destinations I would like to go up in a shiny sil)er rocket as in my childhood dream. I hope all this will be possible thanks to new technology. ut my guess is that all will be possible but )ery e6pensi)e and all flights to the moon will be booked by rich people. 5 8$!$9" T#$-!, ;<#
&ince our childhood, I am sure that most of us ha)e dreamt about tra)elling to different gala6ies. &ome nights, we open our window and watch the stars, wondering what it is like up there. *e might find an answer to this =uestion in a few years time. ecause of technology all our wishes could come true.
I think that in 50 years/ time, we will be using different forms of transport like rocket or space shuttle to tra)el in an interplanetary world, because tra)elling on the earth will be a thing of the past. This new style of tra)el will take place in space, between the stars or on some other planet like 2ars *e will meet e6traterrestrials who li)e )ery far away from us. This fantastic disco)ery will change our li)es because a lot of people will be )ery interested by that and by the new people who li)e there.

*elcome to our article dedicated to the future "ou might be reading this in the plane, but do you think we will still be using planes in fifty years/ time If you ha)e e)er dreamt of seeing 2ars from your space+rocket, while going to work, be sure this article is for you In the not too distant future, we will all ha)e flying cars, as it will be the fastest and simplest way to commute. These cars will be telescopic so that there will be no parking problems and, furthermore, we will be able to go to the top of skyscrapers without using the ele)ator. I hope that we will find an ecological fuel to be able to preser)e our -arth from pollution in the ne6t 5 or 10 years, at worst.
%onetheless, flying cars won/t be used to tra)el from one planet to another >as we will, for sure, be li)ing on lots of other planets?. &o, when we go to holidays, for e6ample to 4egasus gala6y, or for those who work far away from home, we will take our personal space+rocket, or a transgalactic liner, which will be the future e=ui)alent of today's aeroplane. *hate)er the future holds, we ha)e to hope we will ha)e sa)ed our -arth/s @ealth, so that new trips and holidays to different gala6ies become ecologicalA en)ironmentally friendly.
7 Bon't you often ask yourself what the world will be like in C0D0 *ouldn't you like to take a ourney through time to see all this *hat forms of transport will we be using *here will we take our holidays In 50 years' time, scientists will ha)e made a lot of progress, as they ha)e done o)er the years. To my mind, we will be able to dri)e flying cars. There will not be roads anymore, but ust airlifts. *e will be able to mo)e at incredibly fast speeds. $ 4arisian ,for e6ample,will go to 2arseille in ten minutes without ha)ing to take the plane with other tra)ellers. $nd there will be urban subways under ground, four times faster than those of nowadays. $nd all of this will be cheaper than today "es, because of the consumer society which will continue to de)elop, unfortunately for the planet. ut that will not really be a big problem in 50 year's time.
*ith progress and the huge place which space is, we will ha)e disco)ered other planets with indispensable resources to allow human beings to li)e. 2aybe there will be other beings, on these planets. If you read the book of the fabulous science fiction writer Eohn T.4rice, Orion » you will get a glimpse of what these new planets will be like, with other kinds of beings different from those e6isting on the -arth today. &ince my childhood, I ha)e always dreamt of being launched in a rocket towards that final frontier. I hope in C0D0, people will spend some of their holidays on the moon or in a rocket $ll of this seems improbable. ut, if you think of all the technological e)olutions which ha)e occurred o)er the last 50 years, you will agree that it's possible.
I'm sure that, reading this article, you dream of taking holidays on the moon. or the moment, it's almost impossible, unless you ha)e a good imagination : build your imaginati)e future world with Eohn T.4rice's staggering stories. It will gi)e you a taste of this life
