H. Making generalization and abstractions about the lesson
Igneous Rock-formerly molten: describes rock formed under conditions of intense heat or produced by the solidification of volcanic magma on or below the Earth's surface. Sedimentary Rock-formed from eroded material: describes rocks formed from material deposited as sediment by water, wind, or ice and then consolidated by pressure.
[wé əring] noun
1. effect of weather: the effect of prolonged exposure to the weather on, e.g. a building 2. effect of weather on rocks: the disintegration and decomposition of rocks and minerals by natural processes such as the action of frost or percolating ground water
Metamorphic Metamorphic Rock-of metamorphosis: relating to or involving a change in physical form, appearance, or character. Rock cycle- involves how igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rock formed through factors such as h eat, pressure and temperature caused by different agents.
