Introduction
Vending machine is a machine that dispenses merchandise after customer deposits money. It provides various snacks, beverages, cigarette and other products to consumers. The idea is to vend products without a cashier. Items sold via vending machine vary by country and region. The first vending machine is believed to have been invented by Hero of Alexandria, a first-century inventor. Most vending machines are designed as large safes. They have also been extensively tested and designed to inhibit theft. Like any machines, vending machines are susceptible to malfunction. The causes are many-fold. Most of vending machines are see-through or glassfront merchandisers. This is because it can show clearly and customer able to browse. Usually vending machines use a spiral kind of mechanism to separate and to hold the products. When the machine vends, the spiral turns, thus pushing the product forward and falling down to be vended. Problem Description
One issue with vending machines, particularly mechanical vending machines, involves the use of coins of foreign currency, or, in more extreme cases, worthless tokens or washers, which have the same size and shape as the coin accepted by the machine. This is done to pay less for merchandise and sometimes in order to get change that has more value than the originally inserted object. Some of the conventional vending machine has a complicated ways of operating. Below is shown some problems are facing f acing by the consumer:
Consumers always facing problem for the coin operating s ystem. Hardly to find shops that can operate 24 hour daily. Require space or place to sell goods. Limited distance for the remote control area. Extra charges from other shoplift.

Structure of the vending machine
1. User deposits money into money slot at the outside of machine. The money detected by the money sensor itself. 2. User will choose the product by press the button provided. 3. The product will drop to the outlet corner. 4. The motor will start to push the beverages after few seconds delay. delay. 5. When the sensor detects the bottle that has been pushed front, it’ll stop the motor. 6. The user takes the product in vending machine. Figure

Summary
This mini project proposal telling that the component that might be used. Our target is to get know the basic of how vending machine work using Programmable Logic Controller. The flowchart show the flow of process that happen when the user try to buy the product. Each of the sensor work to sense the existent of the bottle in the vending machine. It will detect the bottle either it is placed at the correct place. The switches that place out the vending machine respond to the user’s decision on deciding which product he/she want. As they press the switch, the bottle will drop to the outlet corner to let the user get it. it .
