SISTEMAS DE TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS RESIDUALES
INTRODUCCION
Los tratamientos de aguas residuales se desarrollaron debido a la necesidad de velar por la salud pública y evitar las condiciones adversas provocadas por la descarga de agua residual al medio ambiente. Para el desarrollo de cada proceso de pretratamiento pr etratamiento de agua residual se busca la reducción de DBO, DQO, sólidos en suspensión y organismos patógenos; mejorando de esta manera la calidad de las aguas. Debemos conocer los procesos convencionales y parámetros que conforman una planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales, tanto para tratamiento de aguas residuales domésticas como industriales, previa a su descarga al cuerpo receptor. En el caso de desechos líquidos industriales se dan disposiciones que deben cumplirse antes de su descarga al sistema de alcantarillado sanitario, para tratamiento conjunto. Los tratamientos pueden eliminar los contaminantes presentes a través de procesos físicos, químicos y/o biológicos, utilizando mecanismos de separación de solidos, o la implementación de oxígeno en las lagunas aireadas. Se puede clasificar a dichos tratamientos en: primario (pre-tratamiento, procesos físicos), secundario (procesos químicos y biológicos) y terciarios (procesos avanzados).

OBJETIVOS OBJETIVO GENERAL
El objetivo principal del presente proyecto es el dimensionamiento de varios sistemas de tratamiento de aguas residuales utilizando un conjunto de criterios básicos de diseño. El objetivo del tratamiento es la remoción de características indeseables de las aguas residuales a un nivel igual o menor que el determinado en el grado de tratamiento, para cumplir con los requisitos de calidad del cuerpo receptor. OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS
Establecer los parámetros a los cuales se regirá nuestro diseño de sistemas de pretratamiento de aguas residuales basándonos en la Norma de la Secretaria del Agua.
Calcular las dimensiones dimensiones necesarias de de cada tratamiento, con con el fin de cumplir la efectividad requerida, tiempo de retención, etc.
Determinar el volumen volumen de diseño de: desarenador, trampa de grasas, pantano seco, sistema séptico y laguna aireada.

MARCO TEORICO
Las disposiciones de la secretaría del agua proporcionan al ingeniero sanitario un conjunto de criterios básicos para el diseño de sistemas de tratamiento de aguas residuales. DEFINICIONES
Aguas residuales domesticas: Agua residual de origen doméstico, comercial e institucional que contiene desechos humanos. Aguas residuales. El agua luego de ser usada por una comunidad o industria, que contiene material disuelto y en suspensión.
Aeración. Proceso de transferencia de masa, generalmente referido a la transferencia de oxígeno del aire al agua por medios naturales (flujo natural, cascadas, etc.) o artificiales (agitación mecánica o difusión de aire comprimido). Aeración mecánica. (1) La mezcla del contenido líquido de un tanque de aeración, laguna aireada o digestor aeróbico, para producir un contacto de la superficie del agua con la atmósfera. (2) La introducción de oxígeno del aire en un líquido por acción de un agitador mecánico. Anaeróbico. Condición en la cual hay ausencia ausencia de aire u oxígeno libre. Bases de diseño. Conjunto de datos para las condiciones finales e intermedias de diseño, que sirven para el dimensionamiento de los procesos de tratamiento. Los datos generalmente incluyen: poblaciones, caudales, concentraciones y aportes per cápita de las aguas residuales.

SISTEMAS DE TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS RESIDUALES
Carga de diseño. Combinación entre caudal y concentración de un parámetro específico, que se usa para dimensionar un proceso de tratamiento, bajo condiciones aceptables de operación. Demanda bioquímica de oxígeno (DBO). Cantidad de oxígeno usado en la estabilización de la materia orgánica bajo condiciones de tiempo y temperatura especificados (generalmente 5 días y 20ºC). Demanda química de oxígeno (DQO). Medida de la cantidad de oxígeno requerido para oxidación química de la materia orgánica (carbonácea) del agua residual, usando como oxidantes sales inorgánicas de permanganato o dicromato en una prueba que dura dos horas. Depuración de aguas residuales. Término usado para significar la purificación o remoción de substancias objetables de las aguas residuales, como por ejemplo DBO, DQO, bacterias, materiales tóxicos, etc. Se aplica exclusivamente a procesos de tratamiento de líquidos. El término tratamiento de aguas residuales es preferible para aplicación a líquidos y lodos. Desarenadores. Cámara diseñada para reducir la velocidad del agua residual y permitir la separación de sólidos minerales (arena), por sedimentación. Eficiencia de tratamiento. Relación entre la masa o concentración removida y la masa o concentración en el afluente, para un proceso o planta de tratamiento y un parámetro específico. Puede expresarse en términos decimales y normalmente se expresa en porcentaje. Grado de tratamiento. (1) Medida de la eficiencia de remoción de una planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales en relación con parámetros como: DBO, bacterias u otro parámetro especificado. (2) Eficiencia de remoción requerida a una planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales para cumplir con los requisitos de calidad del cuerpo receptor. Laguna aireada. Estanque natural o artificial de tratamiento de aguas residuales en el cual se suple el abastecimiento de oxígeno por aeración mecánica o difusión de aire comprimido. Es una simplificación del proceso

La población estimada al relacionar la carga o volumen de un parámetro (DBO, sólidos en suspensión, caudal) al correspondiente aporte per cápita (kg DBO/(Hab.d), l/(Hab.d)). Tanque séptico. Sistema individual de disposición de aguas residuales para una vivienda o conjunto de viviendas, que combina la sedimentación y digestión. El efluente es dispuesto por percolación en el terreno y los sólidos sedimentados y acumulados son removidos periódicamente y descargados normalmente en una facilidad de tratamiento. Este sistema no debe considerarse con un proceso de tratamiento.

PRETRATAMIENTO – TRAMPA DE GRASA
La trampa de grasas o interceptor de grasas es un receptáculo ubicado entre las líneas de desagüe de la fuente o punto generador del residuo líquido y las alcantarillas, esta permite la separación y recolección de grasas y aceites del agua usada y evita que estos materiales ingresen a la red de alcantarillado público Las grasas y aceites generan enormes trastornos al sistema de recolección de Aguas Servidas, razón por la cual los municipios exigen el acondicionamiento de las descargas de los lavaderos, lavaplatos u otros aparatos sanitarios instalados en restaurantes, cocinas de hoteles, hospitales y similares donde exista el peligro de introducir cantidad suficiente de grasa que afecte el buen funcionamiento de la red de Alcantarillado, de igual forma a locales que manejen aguas residuales de lavado de pisos, equipos y maquinarias, así como de las descargas de lavanderías de ropas. FUNCIONAMIENTO Las trampas de grasas retardan el flujo fl ujo del agua procedente de los desagües, con lo que las grasas y el agua tienen tiempo para separarse. Al separarse las grasas flotan en la superficie mientras que otros sólidos más pesados se depositan en el fondo de la trampa. El resto del agua pasa libremente por el alcantarillado de la ciudad CONSEJOS PARA LA INSTALACION DE TRAMPA DE GRASA

MANTEMIENTO Para llevar a cabo el mantenimiento se hace necesario que el usuario que lo ejecuta tenga en cuenta las siguientes recomendaciones de seguridad y medio ambiente:
El usuario deberá tener como mínimo guantes, botas y mascarillas. mascarillas.

Previa inspección del nivel de natas o grasas en la superficie de la trampa siendo esta mayor a 3cm iniciar con el mantenimiento.
Destapar y extraer los flotantes que son las natas de de grasas y aceites, usar un colador con orificios que le permita retirarlos. Si hay suficiente cantidad retirar los lodos del fondo dejando un residuo aproximado al 20%

TRATAMIENTO PRIMARIO - TANQUE SEPTICO
Un tanque séptico es un contenedor especial, construido generalmente en forma de barril o de caja, ubicado bajo tierra. Su función es la de retener las aguas cloacales durante tiempo suficiente como para que los sólidos se asienten. Los sólidos más pesados se acumulan gradualmente en el fondo del tanque formando un fango, mientras que los sólidos más livianos flotan en la superficie formando una capa grasosa. El agua de desecho (efluente) que sale del tanque séptico puede contener contaminantes y microorganismos que pueden causar enfermedades. El efluente pasa al área de absorción al suelo a través de un tubo empalmado o de una caja de distribución; el área de absorción también es conocida como suelo de drenaje, área de desecho o de filtración. El área de drenaje consiste en una serie de zanjas que contienen tubería perforada; estas zanjas están cubiertas de grava.
