Raja Yogas We all know what is meant by Raja Yogas. Raja Yogas are many kinds, here only the raja yogas are discussed without the respective horoscopes. If the group members would like to bring the example for each yoga there are welcome. What is real Raja Yoga? Real Raja Yoga means that the native should live like a King/Queen at least once in a life time, and then only it is Raja Yoga. Dr. Murugu Rajendran (a famous Tamilnadu astrologer) mentions in his book Yogangalum Jadagamum that the lord of the ninth house should be in his own house (9th house) and should have the aspect of Jupiter, then the real Raja Yoga arises and the native in his/her life time rules the people of the place where he/she lives in it. Not only the real Raja Yoga gives the crown to the native, there are other Raja Yogas too gives the crown to the native. There are many people said about the placement of the 9th and 4th house in the ascendant (honourable B. V. Raman many times in his magazines and his books mentions it is luckier to have those lords in the ascendant one or the other way). The placement of either the lord of the 4th house lord or the 9th house lord followed by the aspect of benefic aspects by the planets such as ascending (waxing) Moon, Mercury, Venus or Jupiter one or the other day takes the native to rule his/her own people through politics (such as M. P, M.L.A or chief minister, Prime minister etc). There is another important yoga namely Chakravarthi Yoga that makes the Kings and Queens (means M.L.A, M.P, Chief Ministers, Prime Ministers etc), the native should have should have Jupiter, Venus and Mercury all in the native chart should have dominal or exalted strength. Then the native lives like a Chakravarthi in his/her life time during the dasa of those planets. The Parivarthana of the lord of the second and eleventh house followed by the exaltation of the lord of the fourth house makes the life to the native to live like a King/Queen and gives the vehicle comfort and nice home. The yogas relating to politics will be discussed throughout the raja yogas discussion. In general it is believed that the lord of the ascendant should be placed in his/her own house or should be exalted or else the lord of the first house should be placed in the first, second, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th or in the 11th houses (without debility and without the aspect of the malefic planets or with the aspect of benefic planets), if so the native earns a lot of money, comforts, name and fame in his/her life time. The exaltation of the lord of the lord of the first house is very beneficial to the native because it rectifies the problem due to all other planets such as Bhadakesh, 6 th, 8th and 12th house lords. Usually the lord of the first house should have dominal or exalted strength so that the problem due to other planets is rectified to a greater extent. Exaltation of the lord of the first house is a great benefit to the native. Aries ascendant if have the lord of the lord of the first house exalted it is exalted in the 10th house so it gives rise to Ruchika Yoga, it is one of the Pancha Maha Purusha yogas. The Taurus ascendants if they have exalted Venus then they get profits due to the Venus and so on. The rasi lord if exalted then the native accumulates a lot of wealth in his/her life time.
The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in a house is always debatable. But when they conjunct within 10 degrees it is always found both Venus and Jupiter compete with each other and they give enormous wealth to the native in general. In the 3rd, 6th, 8th and 11th house the malefic planet have greater strength only when they do not aspect the ascendant. Then they give enormous wealth to native. The conjunction of the lord of the lord of the ninth house lord with the tenth house is said to be Dharma Karmathipathi Yoga, in the same way the conjunction of the lord of the fifth with the lord of the tenth house (but this yoga is helpful only when the first house is Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and the lord of the fifth house followed by the conjunction of the lord of the fifth house and the tenth house in the Kendras) is said to be Kanaga Yoga. Kanaga Yoga in the dasa of the lord of the fifth or the tenth house lords gives name, fame, wealth, popularity etc in its dasa period. The dasa period indicates the dasa by Vimsottari dasa for the yogas throughout. In the same way if the conjunction of the lord of the 2nd and 10th house lords of found in Kendras followed by the aspect of benefic planets such as waxing Moon, Mercury (who he has no conjunction of malefic planet/s, Venus and Jupiter) then the native is rich from the birth itself. If the lord of the 2nd house if placed in the Kendras or if the Dhana Karaka exalted in Cancer, the native gets good education or gets a lot of wealth or both and enjoys both. Also the exaltation of the lord of the 2 nd house indicates the enormous wealth in the life time of the native. The exaltation of the lord of the 2nd house Lord in the 2nd house or the conjunction of the lord of the 2 nd and 11th lords in the 2nd house followed by the exaltation of the lord of the 10th house lives like a King/Queen throughout the life time in his/her life time and they do not apply for overdraft or loan type of things to the bank where they bank their bank their money. The Parivarthana of the lord of the lord of the lord of the 4th house and the 10th house, followed by the exaltation of the lord of the first house live like a King/Queen throughout their life time. Many know the Jupiter dasa and the Venus antar dasa or the Venus dasa the Jupiter antar dasa is somewhat trouble some since both of them are inimical to each of them but, if the lord of the 5th house in the 10th house followed by the lord of the 4th house in the 10th house then those problem are nullified. The Lord of the fourth house if found in the ascendant then the native acquires the lot of wealth with the advice of his/her mother. The Cancer ascendant having Jupiter in their in ascendant followed by the aspect of the benefic planets they remain as Business giants in their country of living. Malefic planes in the 6th house too give raja yoga, so malefic planets in the 6th house give the raja yoga and make the native to have a sub-ordinate job in the government organisations. The advantage is that no one troubles them in their job. Many times I found and many astrologers told to me in the Upachaya sthanas if Mars found there is no problem arises in the job front of the native, it is the same from ascendant and also from the Moon sign.
