4. Analysis & Recommendation for Bad events/patches 4.1 Idle UE Coverage – Sample Patches -01
Analysis Approach: 1. Physical optimization :
The building obstructions in coverage path of main serving cell must be checked since this is dense urban cluster.
Proper Azimuth & tilts must be applied and impact must be also checked then and there.
Recommendations for new site or cell splitting or external power booster (Downlink).
2. Parameter optimization :
Enhancing the parameter control downlink power boost technology.
The serving cell idle BA list (Neighbor list) & access permitted parameter (NCCPERM) must be rechecked in order to have proper cell resection.
Cell resection controlling parameters (CRO, TO and PT) can be tuned so that cell would initiate the resection at proper condition. Bot operator defined default values also will be also taken into consideration.

4.2
Dedicated Mode UE Coverage – Sample Patches -01
Analysis Approach: 1
Physical optimization :
Identify the best server & Proper Azimuth/tilts must be ensured.
Alarm free RBS operation must be ensured (reading RBS Alarm log).
The building obstructions in coverage path of main serving cell must be checked (cell relocation may require) since this is dense urban cluster.
According to the coverage demand & subscriber density, the antenna type can be changed
Recommendations for new site or cell splitting or external power booster (Downlink).
2
Parameter optimization :
BA list & Neighbor tuning.
RBS & Channel power control parameters retune(Ex: BSPWRB, BSPWRB, BSPWRMIN so )

Pulse Information Technologies
4.3
Dedicated Mode UE Quality – Sample Patches -01
Analysis Approach: 1
Physical optimization :
Interferer Identification & Elimination of overshooting cells (Can be double checked by cell level measurement report recoding) with proper tilt planning.
Frequency reuses pattern analysis & new BCCH/BSIC planning.
2
Parameter optimization :
Interferer channel power control parameters retune.
Improving performance by fine tune the better cell handover parameters.
Hooping, AMR and HR/FR controlling parameter retune.
The overlapping coverage zone of serving cell & candidate cells must be identified & restricted properly with proper Azimuth/tilt planning.
Locating parameter also can be used to tune the handover performance.

5. Conclusion The report shows the clear picture of the 2G network performance according to the cluster Drive Test carried out. The above mentioned bad patches and the events were thoroughly analyzed with the drive test logs, OSS KPI and the RNC parameter configurations and the recommendations have been made. Once you approved the recommendations we will do the necessary modifications and then the DT will be carried out to show the network performance has improved.
