‘3-Step EFT’ – Step 2, Detective Questions Guide If you haven’t yet achieved complete relief by tapping for your problem in Step 1, you simply need a different approach – to dig a little deeper, and remove the root cause – the limiting belief behind your problem - consciously or unconsciously. Trust me – it’s there, below the surface – all you need to do is uncover and gently deactivate it. nd the tapping you’ve already done for your problem using Step 1 has already begun that process for you – unconsciously!
So how do "Detective Questions ’ help# $ell, the incredible magic of "%-Step &'T’ is that you can tr it on everthin! – and with diligence, persistence and e(perience, you can nearly always find relief. )owever, we are all sub*ected to millions of negative influences in a lifetime, resulting in literally thousands of potential maladies, whether of the body or the mind. The basis of +ray +ure is that, in fact, they all have an emotional cause – and I sincerely hope you’re beginning to recognise that, as a result of the relief you’ve achieved so far. ut of course, for that very reason, no two problems have identical causes – because no two human lives e(perience identical emotional influences. &ach of us is uniue, with our own uniue problems, with their own uniue emotional causes. So you sometimes need to do a little detective wor/, to identify the specific negative emotions indicating limiting beliefs 0I20& to your life e(perience, and to each of your problems. 3lease remember that, as you read this guide. Its aim is to give you the simple tools to help you find relief from every conceivable /ind of problem, whether now, or in the future. ll manner of problems – physical, emotional, psychological, self-sabotaging behaviours – can be helped by using the same, simple %-Step &'T process. So a uestion that may seem to have no relevance to your life e(perience may be the precise one that helps a friend or family member – or maybe even you, in months or years to come! 4ou may recall me stating - T)& "ES#$T 5' 66 %EG&T'(E )E$'EFS IS D'S"#*T'+% I T)& 574’S &&894 S4ST&:. It is that disruption, caused by unconsciously holding onto some negative, limiting belief, which is causing your problem, whatever it is – and no matter how incredible or unli/ely that may seem! Stic/ with me – and all will soon become clear. $hat you are targeting with %-Step &'T, you see, is not the problem itself, but ultimately, the specific negative belief causing the
energy disruption which led to your problem. If the negative belief – and therefore your problem - hasn’t clered unconsciousl so far, using Step 1, then it’s time to as/ yourself some uestions to help you more consciousl identify the negative emotion indicating the limiting belief. 4ou’re simply searching for clues to reveal the root cause of your problem. t first it may feel uite aw/ward to as/ such uestions, and be truly honest with yourself. fter all, you’ve maybe lived with this problem for uite some time. It may even have become part of your identity - because your subconscious mind wants to protect you and /eep you se in our comort .one. 0ntil now, you probably didn’t even /now how to identify the root cause – much less remove it, uic/ly and easily. ut your negative feelings, beliefs or self-sabotaging behaviours will never serve you – no matter how normal or even comfortable they feel – so let’s get rid of those weeds from the garden of your mind, and ma/e room for beautiful flowers to bloom! /+# 0%+1, DEE* D+1%, T&T /+#’"E +0 So, continue by as/ing yourself gently – o4 does having this problem m5e me eel6 o4 does it limit m dil lie6 5r as/ – ' there was ne!tive emotion behind this problem, 4ht 4ould it be6 – and see what answer you get... )ow does this problem ma/e you FEE$6 7oes your problem ma/e you feel... &nnoed, n!r, rid, lone, bloc5ed, burdened, criticised, deeted, disppointed, discour!ed, dis!usted, embrrssed, e7husted, erul, oolish, ri!htened, rustrted, !uilt, hted,

It’s all about how it feels, how it feels, how it feels! ut please - don’t criticise, blame or *udge yourself for any negative feelings that arise. $hatever the root-cause – it’s not your fault – you didn’t deliberately plant those weeds in your mind! The seeds =negative emotions> which you’ve ignored and left to grow were planted there unconsciously by a ne!tive e7perience resultin! rom limitin! belie9 Simply identify the emotion, if you can, and you’ll be well on your way to finding the relief you’re loo/ing for. $hatever feeling comes to mind, now ta/e a few moments to consider what ne!tive events in your life, or limitin! belies, may have made you eel the same way! 4ou see, whether your problem arose in the last few hours, many months or even many years ago, it was highlighted by events or e(periences triggered by a negative belief, which resulted in a negative emotion. That belief is now rooted in your energy system, whether as a mere seedling or a 9iant )ogweed, which is what’s causing your problem. If you have an occasional headache, for e(ample, it is li/ely triggered by recent stress – some emotional "pain’ in your life, today, which is often relatively easy to identify, and clear. rthritis pain, for e(ample though, may be much more longstanding, and perhaps result from historic feelings of unworthiness, or feeling victimised, for e(ample. 6i/e weeds, such feelings grow over the years, and may manifest themselves, sooner or later, as that arthritis, or maybe another medical condition.
$hether those feelings were triggered days, months or years ago, by specific negative events, e(periences, or limiting beliefs, once you begin to identify ho4 our problem m5es ou eel, ri!ht no4, you can no doubt recognise that those same negative feelings occur on a regular basis. Sometimes though, the subconscious mind needs help to *oin the dots – to ma/e those connections, and reveal the full picture - before your problem is successfully tapped away – for good. Detective Questions help ou to m5e conscious connection bet4een ho4 our problem m5es ou eel, nd speciic events or belies, pst or present, 4hich !ve ou the sme eelin!9 7o, please, /eep an open mind. This whole concept is probably very new to you. She’s familiar with %-Step &'T, so I suggested we tap together. 0sing Step 1 a few times for AThis sharp pain in my sideB, resulted in only partial relief.
