ABOUT AMCAT AMCAT is a test conducted by Aspiring Minds to assess the student quality and their employability in the industry. AMCAT is used as a screening tool for entry level job selection by many banks, IT companies. A good AMCAT score is mandatory for the candidates to go to the next round of selection. The test score acts as a benchmark for the students to showcase their skills and abilities in a particular field. AMCAT test has compulsory as well as optional modules. The first 4 modules given below in the table are compulsory modules. Attention to detail is compulsory only for non-Engineering graduates. Computer programming is taken as an optional module by students wanting jobs with IT companies. Other optional modules are available and students can choose the same according to their field of specializations. PERSONALITY INVENTORY The Personality inventory section of the AMCAT 2016 exam has 80 questions that needs to be answered in 20 minutes. This is a compulsory module in AMCAT which assesses candidates on their people interaction and people management roles. This section is based on the five-factor model of Personality. AMPI measures five broad based traits.

The Personality Inventory does not require any preparation and you don’t need to overthink your responses. There is no right or wrong answer. The inventory highlights behavior in specific situations which identifies your strong points and provides a window to work on your opportunity areas.
