Protocols
GMPLS: In a broad sense, the multi-service label switching protocol provides the functions of setting up, deleting and querying a connection, synchronization and restoration, rerouting protection. Moreover, it provides the service related functions.
OSPF-TE (routing): Flood and gather topology for calculating service path RSVP-TE (signaling): Establish and then maintain the service path LMP (link management): Discover
the neighbors and links

Explanations to LMP ± Data Link Connectivity Check Data Link Connectivity Check Preparations for the check: ¾
Node A sends BeginVerify and receives the BeginVerifyAck message.
Check process ¾
Node A keeps sending the Test message on the data link at specific time until it receives teststatussuccess or teststatufailure response on the control channel.
Check end ¾
between Node A and Node B Begin Verify Begin VerifyAck Test TestStatusSuccess TestStatusAck Test TestStatusSuccess TestStatusAck
Node A sends the Endverify message and waits for the response. After Node A receives the EndVerifyAck message or the response times out, the check process ends.

Explanations to the RSVP Protocol-Summary of General Knowledge
For LSP setup, deletion, rerouting, optimization or attribute change, the initiating node is the primary node of the service. The intermediate node and end node are passive. When they receive the message from the upstream node, they perform relevant operations.
