MUSIC PRODUCTION The Master of Music in Music Production combines the most creative, innovative music production techniques with the p ower of DAW-based music technology tools. The program provides a rigorous training in advanced recording, mixing, and mastering, in addition to focused work on critical areas such as vocal production, audio for visual media, and business sustainability for independent producers. Through the program, you develop a professional framework and vocabulary for analyzing production qualities in music and learn how to leverage research into how people perceive sound to strengthen the connection between their music and listeners. Advanced Mixing Techniques GRADUATE Advanced Mixing Techniques is a next-generation music mixing course for you to take your mixing skills to the highest level. In addition to an indepth exploration of traditional mixing topics such as balance, EQ, dynamics, spatial effects, and automation, you’ll explore pitch and time correction and mixing for digital streaming services. Throughout the course, you will mix 12 provided recordings in a variety of Billboard chart-related styles, including R&B/hip-hop, pop, electronic dance, country, rock, and emerging artists. For the Master of Music in Music Production program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in music production, engineering, or technology, or a bachelor’s degree with work experience in the music production, engineering, and/or technology elds. The Master of Arts in Music Business program requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, nance, marketing, or related eld.
