1. Introduction The configuration enables users to specify down to the smallest detail what they want to see on their customised site. It also enables them to choose which events they can view and offer, as well as the key value on those events, if they use Betradar’s odds suggestions. Furthermore, the configuration is used in order to define who in each account is given the rights to use the system. Note that depending on your account packages, some of the sections below will not be available to you.
2. Default Configuration This is the landing page of the configuration and only affects the Life Cycle of Odds settings. The page includes two separate groups of settings. On the top you can find supervision configuration and on the bottom there are all the key configuration and market filtering configuration that will apply to the Life Cycle of Odds feed that is being received. The default level of configuration is the configuration applied to all sports, if nothing else is defined specifically for a category or league; the user has the option to set the configuration in exactly the same way for different sports, categories and tournaments by using the tree menu next to the configuration menu. Any sport or category that has a yellow colour means that it has not been configured specifically, so the default settings will be applied here. On the screenshot below for example, only basketball has been configured separately. The default configuration would would apply to all other sports visible on this image.

In the case where a sport or category is not under default, follow the legend on the top for more details
Yellow folder: Sport is under default configuration, as already mentioned above
Light blue folder: Sport with a special configuration, but no special category configuration

Dark Blue folder: Sport that has at least one category configured specially compared to the sport or default (or both)
White page: Category with the same configuration as the sport
Dark blue page: Category with a special configuration
Bold font: Indicates special configuration
In the section below, we explain all the sections under the default configuration one by one 2.1.
Date differences
The fields in the Date differences section must be filled out to determine what is to be shown in the date differences list. Additionally, criteria need to be fulfilled in order to send a notification when you may have wrong starting time.
The min difference determines the time difference in minutes required for the starting time of a game to be different from another starting time. For instance, if the min difference is 10 minutes then 19:00 and 19:05 are seen as t he same starting times.
The min probability is the percentage of the sources that need to have the same starting time in order for the starting time to be correct. For instance, having 70 in this field means that 7 out of 10 bookmakers and sources must have the same starting time in order for it to be correct.
The min number of bookies is where you select how many bookmakers need to have a starting time for this event. Only then can a starting time difference be shown on the date differences list – and for any date differences to be alerted to you by email.
2.2.
Changes
The fields in the Changes section are filled out to determine what is to be shown in the changes list and what criteria must be fulfilled in order to send a notification.

The time period is the period of time the changes must have occurred in order for them to be shown in the changes list, and to be used for e-mail alerts.
The min number of changes is the amount of changes that need to occur in a game to be shown in the changes list, and to be used for e-mail alerts.
2.3.
Emergency limits
These limits decide when to send an email regardless of the configurations you set up that are specific to the different sports and leagues. The limits are defined as percentage differences from the market average. The default configuration allows you to define limits for alerts from a ladder of odds intervals. In this way, conditions for alert generation can be defined more precisely.
2.4.
Hotlist
The configuration of the Hotlist is an important feature of the Betradar system. This is where you set the limits determining what to see in the hotlist, and when to receive information regarding odds differences in their own offers compared to the market average. As above, the system allows you to define limits for alerts from a ladder of odds intervals.
The limit value is a percentage value determining what the difference from the market average your offer has to be in order for the user to be alerted by e-mail.
The increase is the percentage value the odds for the outcome have to increase (in addition to the limit) in order for the user to be alerted again after they ’ve already been alerted.
In the # bookies field, the amount of bookmakers is entered in order for the user to be alerted by e-mail and the game to be shown in the hotlist.

2.5.
Heavy changes
The min limit and the min limit past 24h is the percentage value determining what the difference your offer has to be from the market average, in order for the user to be alerted in the Heavy Changes section. Min number of Bookmakers is the minimum numbers of bookmakers that must have changes on the specific odds.
2.6.
3way equivalent
This key figure converts Asian market odds to 3way market odds and makes them comparable to your own odds. The Emergency limits and Hotlist work the same way. You also have the option to choose the list of bookmakers that you want to be included on this alert. This can be done on the Asian monitoring configuration.

2.7.
Special bets settings (handicap / total / spread / Asian handicap)
This is specifically configured to receive alerts for special bets like Handicaps, Totals, Spreads and Asian handicaps. Triggers can be set to include:
Grouping errors checks wrong totals, spreads, handicaps and significant changes; while odds are close to the global average odds.
Wrong way changes alerts when a change in grouping should have changed the odds in the opposite direction.

Estimated odds checks if odds are significantly different from estimated values based on global average and the difference between grouping and global grouping average.
2.8.
Asian handicap surebets
This alert informs you if your odds are involved on a sure bet with any Asian handicap markets – from the same bookmaker list as the 3way equivalent above. Note: The minimum sure bet percentage can be adjusted but it is advised to stay on the minimum 1 percent.
2.9.
Save and reset configuration
If you are satisfied with the configuration you can save configuration and the values are registered. Alternatively, you can reset to default and the original values appear again. 2.10.
Alert Bookmaker List and Display Bookmaker List
Here you have two lists of bookmakers consisting of 2 boxes each. In the bookmakers selected box to the right, are listed the bookmakers you have chosen to include in your alerts or display. The bookmakers list to the left includes the bookmakers you have chosen not to include in the estimations and comparisons. To move the bookmakers from one list to another, simply select the bookmakers with the cursor and use the left and right pointing arrows to move them to your chosen group. When you are satisfied with your choice of bookmakers, click save bookmakers. If you are not satisfied, click return to default . The bookmakers included in the Alert bookmakers box are taken into consideration when your alerts are generated. Those bookmakers are also displayed when you click to check an alert on the supervision module. Display bookmakers are the bookmakers whose prices you can see when checking the monitoring function. It is advised to include all your alert

bookmakers to your display bookmakers. The opposite is not necessary. Both lists should be configured by a user with a deep knowledge of the marker on each sport and country, and should be reviewed on a regular basis. 2.11.
Sport Fixtures key values
Here you can configure the key values on all odds suggestions you receive from Betradar on the main markets for every sport. The configuration system gives you the option to set different key values to different sports, countries and tournaments, as well as different type of bets. Please note that this interface changes as you move from default to specific sports. The minimum key value always has to be 100, with the value above indicating the actual margin. For example, 108 will generate a margin of 8%. The minimum and maximum key values vary depending on the market. If you try to import a value outside those limits and save the settings, a message will come up on your screen to inform you about the limit in this particular case.
Especially for outrights, you have the option to set your own key or choose to apply the Betradar suggested key for this market.

Sport fixtures sidebets key values
In this section, apart from the key configuration, which works the same way as it does on the sport fixtures key values section; you can enable and disable markets on sport, category or tournament level. As seen on the image below, this function works even on league level, the example below shows where the market 1st half 1X2 is active on the English Premier League but inactive on League One.
Note that all these markets need to be enabled on Technical> XML export config.> sidebets types in order to work.

3. Trading 3.1.
American Monitoring
The configuration allows you to easily select the bookmakers used and the sensitivity of the alerts generated when monitoring American sports and comparing competitors’ odds to your own. The three sections as shown below allow you to choose the opening bookmakers (starting price only), the regular monitoring bookmakers (current odds as well as odds changed history) and the level of the alert sensitivity from the available three levels.

3.2.
Asian monitoring
This configuration lets you select the bookmakers you want to compare to, and which values trigger warnings. A warning is triggered when the average odds from your selected bookies differ more than the configured limit. Remember to click 'Save' after changing these values. The percentage of the odds deviation, in order to receive these alerts, is also configurable, with a separate setting for the Asian handicap and Asian total markets. 3.3.
Exchange comparison
From here you can set up liquidity amounts, odds differences, odds types and alerts options for the exchange comparison alert on supervision menu.
The ‘Exchange higher ’ value is not in use. Please use the ‘Exchange lower ’ value instead. In case you want to be alerted when your odds get close but not higher than the lay price at Betfair, please use “–“(minus) values meaning that you are lower than the Betfair price. Example: Your Odds: 2,0; Betfair lay price: 2,05 – in this case you would be alerted if you set the ‘Home diff’, ‘Draw diff’ or ‘Away diff’ value to “-5” (per cent).

When using the ‘Bet-total’ comparison, please note that the ‘Home diff’ represents the ‘Over ’, while ‘Away diff ’ represents the ‘Under ’ value. ‘Draw diff ’ is not used for this. The outright winner checks all outcomes of an outright against the ‘Home diff ’ and ‘Home liquidity’ value. Note that the ‘liquidity’ value corresponds to the amount of money that is currently available on the lay side (first lay odds only). The threshold that is set in the liquidity field in the Betradar configuration section is the minimum available liquidity, in order to generate an alert. Example: If this value is set to 200 then an alert would only be generated for the draw in the screenshot below (given that the condition for the “ diff” value is met as well).
Under ‘alert options’ you can choose if you want to be alerted for exchange comparison alerts via Pop-Up and/or via e-mail and to which e-mail address(es) the alert shall be sent. The exchange comparison alerts will always appear under the exchange comparison supervision module in the supervision section. 3.4.

This is where you configure with which bookmakers and competitors your favourite odds list should be created.

3.5.
General settings
In this section you can choose to have variable odds rounding if you want to calculate either the number of changes or the number of bookmakers with changes for the odds change rule. This includes the method of calculating the odds difference.
Variable odds rounding: Odds rounding depends on the odds value. Higher values are rounded more. If this setting is on ‘no’, all odds are rounded to the nearest 0.01. Please note that this rounding does not take the odds key into consideration and some key discrepancies have to be expected if rounding is on ‘yes’. In regards to the New and Old Calculation Method, the user needs to know that the ‘Old Method’ compares the odds values directly while the ‘New Method’ compares the bookmaker’s net wins. This means for the old method if you have configured an alert limit of 20% while the average is 100% you will get an alert for your own odds by reaching 120%. The new method says that your odds are 100%. Therefore if you have configured an alert limit of 20% while the average is 80% you will get alert for 100%. For Example: Own Odds = 2; Alert limit = 20% The old method calculates: Own Odds / 120% = 1.67 (Avg. Odds * 120% = 2) The new method is calculated based on bookmaker’s net wins: Own Odds – [(Own Odds – 1) * Alert Limit 20%] = 1.80

[email protected]
Company Identification No:CHE-113.075.404
At this value (Avg. Odds 1.8) the difference to the average market net wins will exceed 20%. In this example using the new method means that you will already be alerted at average odds of 1.80 (with the old method you would only be alerted at average odds of 1.67) You can check which calculation method is best for you by navigating to Configuration > Default within the betradar.com interface. There you will find the table for Emergency / Hotlists / Heavy Changes. In the upper left corner you will see a calculator symbol. Please click on this symbol to calculate the average odds for both methods. Finally the ‘Odds change rule’ defines what information should be shown on the Odds Changes interface under trading tool. There is a column there that reads either : Number of bookmakers with changes in a period’ or ‘total number of changes in a period", depending on which option you have selected.
3.6.
Date check
Here you can add the recipients for manual date-checks alerts via e-mail.
3.7.
Outright
The Outright section works in a similar way to the Default configuration but only applies to outright betting markets. You can set hotlist and emergency alert limits, key values, the list of bookmakers you want to be compared to, limits and number of bookmakers for other alerts. Please note that this bookmaker list only determines the alert bookmakers. The monitoring (display) bookmakers for outrights is configured through display bookmakers list in the default configuration.

Sports: Fixtures
Enables you to set which sports should be in your sports fixture section and XML export. For every competition that is enabled here, you will receive fixtures, odds, odds updates, results and outrights, so it is important to disable competitions that will not be used.
3.10.
Sports: Monitoring
This list is very similar to the Sports: Fixtures list, with the difference that there are more sports available for selection as monitoring covers more sports compared to those we send through an XML feed. Here you choose which sports, categories and tournaments should be included in the Monitoring section.
3.11.
Sport fixture Mail sender
Here you can set up the factors of the sport fixture email such as the email interval, number of days in advance you want it sent, format and of course the email list.

4. Live From here you can find all options regarding the Live Odds Feed Configuration on your Betradar system interface. These configuration options can help you improve your personal settings for your Live Odds Feeds. You can configure sports, matches, you XML feed, key and schedule 4.1.
Live Scout user config
Here you can set up all the alerts for the live scout system. All the options are shown on the image below. ‘In-running support’ is sending updates in 4 different sections and the email address and mobile phone numbers that those updates can be sent to can be added above. Those alerts should always be enabled as they can offer very useful information to the Live Scouting user.

The most important configuration on this section can be found right below the in-running support and has to do with activation or deactivation of features that can be included on the Live Scouting feed. Every user should go through this list carefully in order to determine which of those features are useful. 4.2.
Liveodds config.
In this section you can configure everything around Live Odds. The sections below follow the liveodds configuration menu. General Configuration:

In this section you can adjust the general odds key and the minimum and maximum odds values. As this is a general configuration option these settings will be applied to all appropriate odds keys and odds values for all Live Odds feeds. However, you will also have the chance to configure your settings at specific levels for individual sports, categories and tournaments. The minimum and maximum odds value works as follows. With a minimum odds setting of 1.10 the market would be deactivated in the case of the favourite being offered at lower than 1.10, according to your key value. If your maximum odds were set to a high of 80.00 and our odds feed were 100.00 then the odds you are offering would be capped at 80.00 rather than 100.00, with the market staying open. In this section, you can also choose if you want the odds rounding to be applied to the live odds you receive. You can also set the ‘handling same odds in different markets’ where you can decide if you want to have the same odds for same outcomes on different markets (correct score 0-0 and under 0.5 goals as an example).
‘Handling minimum offer ’ will allow you to choose if you want the entire market or just the particular outcome to be suspended every time an outcome drops below the minimum offer value. ‘Dynamic key upgrade’ automatically lowers your key on markets where the outcomes become less than they initially were. It is mainly used for markets with several different outcomes such as correct score markets.

Finally on this section, you can find the default ‘auto suspend’ threshold for all net sports such as tennis, table tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball and badminton. This will enable each client to define when a specific market should be open or suspended for betting. The configured value will reflect a percentage deviation threshold, which will be compared to the calculated odds of the next two possible scores. Every time the score changes, the system will calculate the odds for the next two possible scores and suspend the market every time the deviation on the probability exceeds the threshold set on the configuration. The deviation of this configuration will be between 0% and 100%. The closer to 100 this percentage is, the more aggressive the bookmaker will be, as the market will be suspended less often. Note that if set to zero it will deactivate auto suspend on maximum odds deviation and ensures that auto suspension will not be applied. ‘Languages’ is used for the translation of Meta data: In this section you can choose the languages you want to use for the translation of the Meta data. In the Live Odds feed, translations are available for sport, category, tournament and team names in the Meta data messages. In addition there are translations available for Odds types and Odds fields.
In-running support configuration: Here you can determine if you want to receive an email, SMS or pop up for match, general, critical and schedule information on every event covered.

Configure e-mail addresses: In this section you can add and delete all e-mail addresses you want to use for receiving these alerts. Note: All contacts on this list will receive an e-mail when a Live Odds alert is sent out. Configure phone numbers: In this section, you can also add mobile phone numbers if needed for SMS services. Note: Numbers on this list may receive Live Odds support messages.
Configure Sports: In the Configure Sports interface you can configure odds keys and minimum offer / maximum cap values on a default level as well as on a sport, category or tournament level. The levels are interdependent. That means all configured values in the default section will affect values of the sports section, only if this sport is not independently configured. By clicking on the arrow next to a Sport gives you the option to further configure markets for individual countries. If you don’t want to receive Live Odds for specific sports, categories or tournaments, all you need to do is un-tick the selection box next to the option you want to exclude.

Note that every time Betradar introduces new markets you will have to activate them in the default section before you can configure or use these new markets. Only then you can configure those on a sport/country level.
Here we present an example for soccer configuration. In the soccer configuration table (below) you can easily choose the specific markets you wish to offer by ticking the box next to the desired market. You can also individually adjust the specific soccer values for the odds keys and the minimum offer and maximum cap for live soccer matches. If no specific settings are entered for the country/competition level , the system will use the values that are set on the sports level or default level respectively

XML export Config.
This page is divided into three sections where you can change the XML f eatures, enable and disable markets, as well as languages. Markets: For this setting you have the ‘match oddstypes’ section where you can find all the main markets for all sports. Disabling a market here will remove it from any sports that this market is considered a main market (i.e. if you disable 1x2 you will not receive it for soccer or ice hockey, but you will receive it on basketball, as it’s a sidebet on this sport) . Right next to this you can also find the outright markets, as shown below .
In ‘sidebets types’, with a different list for each sport, you can choose from the available markets and enable or disable those markets for that particular sport. The market options change significantly as you move to less popular sports. Client config: All the options for this section are explained below Team to correct case: Converts all capital letters to a more reader friendly format.
