WE ARE SOCIEY OF PEROLEUM ENGINEER UNIVERSIAS PADJADJARAN SUDEN CHAPER

SPE UNPAD SC is the youngest student chapter in Faculty o Geological Engineering Universitas Padjadjaran Indonesia. We established and being under trial period or one year since 2013 under supervision o SPE Region o Java and SPE Asia Pasific. At the short time we have successully prove that SPE UNPAD SC adequate to be a great student chapter by actively join competions , seminar, and many events rom another SPE student Chapter rom several universities in Indonesia and Asia Pasific. Tis year, SPE UNPAD SC will hold on annual event named BOREYES International Energy Fair 2014. Boreyes is an event which belonging to National Geological Week, an event held by Fakultas eknik Geologi Uni versitas Padjadjaran. Tis event held to celebrate the 56th anniversarry o FG Unpad which involve every chapter and student section including SPE SC Unpad.

BACKGROUND In this globalization era, the need or energy are expanding alongside the development o technologies. Te increase o energy demand nowadays are not balanced by the existing energy resource. One o the much needed energy or human is petroleum. Sadly, petroleum resources are declining and the remaining oil fields are very old in age, thus are not so productive as they had been. Looking at the obstacles in relation with energy mentioned above, especially in relation with petroleum, SPE (Society o Petroleum Engineers) will be having a series o events which ocuses on finding the solution to energy related issues aced by Indonesia’s young generation as uture leaders. Tereore, these series o events will be directly and indirectly contributing positive impact: directly by expanding student’s knowledge and indirectly by urging the young generation to develop concern about the energy crisis which the world is currently is experiencing, and specifically the energy crisis in Indonesia.

Cooperation 1. Cooperation executed i the sponsor has signed a letter o cooperation provided by the organizers o activities and has made all payments. 2.
