Accreditaon:

Only program in India to be cerfied for quality of content, assessment and pedagogy by the Language Technologies Instute of Carnegie Mellon University, which is the world’s foremost instute in analycs. In fact, students of INSOFE become automacally eligible for a cerficaon from the Language Technologies Instute of Carnegie Mellon University.

Suitable for:

Working engineers with 2-7 years of experience in IT, analycs and KPO. Desirable academic backgrounds are B.E in any discipline or MBA (Finance) or M.Sc (Stascs or mathemacs)

Duraon:

17 weekends - Saturdays and Sundays (Spans approximately 4 months).

Instrucon Methodology:

Completely classroom based; consisng of  lectures, simulaons, case studies and presentaons. Rigor of a US graduate course.

Locaon:

Hyderabad, Internaonal Convenon Center. If an organizaon has a minimum minimum of 25 students, we can offer the program at their locaon.

Faculty:

We draw from a rich mentor base from internaonal universies and industry. Current batches will be taught by alumni of Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins and UC Berkeley. Between them, they have over 150 publicaons and 20 patents and 100 years of experience in Fortune 500.

Broad curriculum Mathemacal Foundaons:

Calculus for opmizaon, Linear algebra and Graph theory in Decision sciences. This is a 48 hour program spanning 6 days.

Modern Applied Stascs:

Essenals of stascal modeling, Understanding data and distribuons, Inferenal probability, Regression, Bayesian analysis, Time series and forecasng. This is a 48 hour program spanning 6 days.

Models and Algorithms of Machine Learning:

Predicon through supervised learning (Decision trees, K-Nearest Neighbors, Support vector machines and Neural networks). Classificaon through unsupervised learning (K-Means clustering and Associaon analysis). Praccal issues of dealing with very large data (pre- processing, PCA). Text retrieval and mining. This is an 88 hour program spanning 11 days.

Opmizaon:

Opmizing the decisions using definive modeling (Linear, Integer and Quadrac programming), Random modeling using Genec algorithms, Simulated annealing and Monte Carlo simulaons. This is a 32 hour program spanning 4 days.

The Art and Science of Problem Solving in Analycs:

Communicang to business users and important industry Problems (hand-picked case studies in loyalty, churn, credit and market risk, drug design and delivery, supply chain)

Evaluaons Each student works on 10 mini projects, 15 quizzes, and 2 presentaons and will be evaluated in mulple dimensions.

Note: For organizaons with large analycs needs, custom programs

can be designed and delivered in associaon with world class faculty .
