Preface: Mental Strength Principles for Successful Living 1. Act as If… As you read the following principle ask yourself, “How would my life be different if I acted as if all these are true? And then act as if they are! By “acting as if” you are in more control of your experiences and manifestations. 2. Cause v Effect: For everything that happens in life there is a cause. This principle suggests that you take full responsibility for everything that happens in our life, the way you respond to it and the leanings from it…regardless if it IS done to you or not. When you blame someone or something else you surrender your power and ability to do something different, as it is up to “them” not you to change to event. When you are on the effect side you give up our personal power. • How would you think and act if you thought and acted as if all your results and how you responded them and the learning’s you received from them were solely your responsibility. • How would your life be different by acting as if you are at cause for your effects? 3. Results vs. Excuses: In life you get one of two things – 1. The result we want or 2. The excuses for not getting them. The more focus and energy you give to creating your excuse the more you move away from creating what you want. Get rid of excuses and what you are left with are results…they may not be exactly what you wanted…but when you acknowledge that you did get a result, you can now take responsibly and create a different result. • How would I act and think if I believed and acted as if all you get are results and there is no room for excuses? 4. Perception is Projection: What you are thinking gets projected through your verbal and non verbal communications. For example, if you think the economy is bad you will find all the external “facts” to support that thinking. Also, if you think the economy is good you will find the “facts” to support that as well. You find what you “seek.” They’re an old expression, “give a dog a bad name and he’ll live up to”. It’s not that the dog is bad; it’s the observer that is finding all things that are bad with the dog…because of the label. This is probably one of the most important foundations to keep in mind as you move through the world. • How would think and act if acted as if everything you believed and your thoughts were projected into the “outside” world and manifested?

5. Responsibility for Results: This says that if you want to achieve a goal that you must take 100% responsibility for your actions for getting that goal. By taking responsibility you are now in direct control of your results. The moment you give even 1% of your responsibility away to some one or something, you are now playing with chance instead of probability. You are responsible for the results you get; no one can create them for you. By acting as this is true you are giving yourself the best opportunity to get what you want. • How would you think and act if acted as if you were 100% reasonable for your results? 6. Excuses v Reasons: This says take any excuses you have for not having your goal or not going after it and making a reason why you must. For example, “I’m too old to start a business.” Change this to, “because I’m older then many, I will prove that I can start a business.” This helps move you from the effect side to the cause side. • How would you think, talk and act if you acted as if everything you did was for a bigger reason? 7. The Mind and Body Are Connected: This principle says that your thoughts will manifest in your body. If you think you’re tired, you’ll look and feel tired. If you have unsupportive thoughts about people, places and things, your body will reflect this in disease, lack of energy, aches, pains and aliments. By thinking supportive thoughts you will feel and look alive, alert and awake…joyous and enthusiastic…you will be filled with zeal and enthusiasm to do the things that aught to be done by you today! • How would think and act if you acted as if every thought manifested in or on your physical body?

Review Warrior Mind Strength is based on the principle of TFAR. It is a successful principle that gives a solid framework in which to operate and will ensure that you will experience powerful outcomes. Before moving on, it is important to establish (again) the definition of a “warrior”, so in reading this information you’ll be better equipped for the journey of self discovery.
Warrior: One Who Conquers Oneself!
Notice that a warrior is not about conquering others or engaging in battle, it’s all about the individual. Once an individual can conquer, control and command their own thoughts, then they are a warrior. Einstein once said: "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” The main premise of this model is that a person’s beliefs create their reality. These beliefs create thoughts, which in turn, evoke emotions. It is the emotions that create the need for action or the opposite….the fear to take action. The action (or lack of) produces the results…your reality. Reality is the result (the effect) of a set of beliefs (the cause) which started their manifestation as thoughts. The TFAR model suggests that Thoughts leads to Feelings, which in turn, leads to Action that creates Results. In basic terms, this is the Law of Cause and Effect, T-F-A-R: T: Thoughts – You have thousands of them in a day. In our sojourn together it will be more productive to understand that there are no “good” or “bad” thoughts, only thoughts that are empowering or disempowering. Depending on your goals and desired outcomes, your thoughts will either be supportive or non-supportive. The investigation of these thoughts is at the heart of Warrior Mind Strength. 8

F: Feelings – Once you are conscious of your thoughts and their qualities you’ll then be able to access the unique feelings and sensations associated with them. These “gut feelings” are many times mislabeled, misidentified or simply dismissed. Once awareness is developed about your feelings, the connection with Action is easily related. A: Action – A persons actions (or lack of) are fueled by their Feelings. You can be inspired to take action, afraid to take action or indifferent in taking action. But notice how there is a specific Feelings associated with each action. It is the Action that will create your results. R: Results – This is where it all comes together…this is the reality YOU created. Funny thing about reality...to the untrained observer it appears that reality creates the feelings and then the thoughts follow. Warrior Mind Strength will assist you in taking control of your thoughts…then your desired results will automatically follow. Thoughts and feelings are invisible, part of your “inner-world.” Your results are visible, part of your “outer-world.” Your action is the bridge between the two worlds.
(T+F)+A=R It can often be tricky getting to a belief directly. But through curious and direct questioning about a persons result, we can start investigating the thoughts around those results. This investigation of the thoughts will gently unfold the beliefs that support them, thus allowing you to determine if this belief is supportive or not. In some situations we may also reverse the formula. If you know what results you want, we can then determine the actions to get you there. After identifying the actions, we’ll investigate the feelings behind the actions and uncover the thoughts around those feelings. Then, once the thoughts are exposed and examined, the core belief will be revealed. You’ll then be able to determine if this belief is supportive or non-supportive in achieving your desired outcome. Once your decision is made concerning supportive nature of the beliefs, a process will be co-developed to smoothly and gracefully replace the old belief and exchange it with a new one. Since each person is unique with their own set of beliefs, dreams and goals, this process is custom tailored for each client.

The Warrior Mind Strength Process of Progression To assist the client in moving from the Easy Zone to Training Zone and remain there until this becomes the new Easy Zone and then move again. Moving from the Easy Zone into the Training Zone requires breaking through the resistance line. Once the resistance line is broken this line now becomes the support line or the new Easy Zone. The major factor in moving from one zone to the other is massive action, without massive action any attempt to move into the next zone will be short lived. Once the jump has taken the person can “relax” and regroup for the next level jump. However, if a person tries to make too big of jump too soon they will find themselves overwhelmed and in the Panic Zone and could retreat all the way back to the Easy Zone

Lesson 2: War of the Worlds We live in Two Worlds The first thing an apprentice of Warrior Mind Strength learns is that you live in two worlds. The shamans, mystics and sages of all time have known this. You live in both the Inner World and the Outer World.
The Inner World is comprised of: • • • • •
Thoughts Feelings Emotions Reactions Consciousness
The Outer World is comprised of: • • •
Circumstances Situations Objects
These two worlds are independent and connected to each other. And you are living simultaneously in both worlds ALL the time. Here are some examples of both worlds: • •
You’re physically at a meeting and thinking about going on vacation Driving a car and thinking about an argument and you’re projecting ahead when we see them the next time. You go off with this huge story that YOU have made up that will never happen…all the while driving your car.
You must be very clear about your understanding of these two worlds. The foundation of Warrior Mind Strength is really getting this principle. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
14
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
You also have our own unique inner-world. We all been to a seminar, movie or presentation and one person thinks one thing about it and you think something totally different. The outer world (OW) was the same, but the inner worlds (IW) completely different. Something happens to you in the outer world and you react in your inner world. Like, you get a promotion and a raise. This happens in your OW, but in your IW you feel happy, increase of self esteem. Let’s say the opposite happens, you get fired. Being fired happens in the OW. But your reaction of panic, disappointment, low self-esteem happens in the IW. You get a compliment on your looks and you feel good about it (compliment = OW, feeling good =IW). You get into a fight with someone and you get angry. The fight is in the OW; your anger is in the IW. To find out more check out these two YouTube movies:
Holographic Universe (Part 1) its all illusion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnvM_YAwX4I&feature=related Holographic Universe (Part 2 ) its all illusion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG9FO7JGWq4&feature=related
A State of Constant Reaction You are reacting constantly to whatever is happening to us in our outer world! If you make $50,000 a year, that is what you’ll be unconsciously (IW) focusing on…”yep, that’s what I make, $50k a year, no more…why can’t I make more well…’cause I’m a $50k a year person, etc…” This conversation goes on and on in your IW without you even being aware that it’s happening! So, you’ll end up always getting a $50k are year job. You are constantly reinforcing and feeding your IW with what you perceive in your OW. You’re in bad relationship. You tell yourself “I’m in a bad relationship…why can’t I find a good relationship…it’s tough to find a good relationship…all the good ones are taken.” You make up this story and run it over and over in your mind (IW). As a result, you have NO POWER; you have lost control of your thoughts and thinking. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
15
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
You Are Constantly Living in Reaction!
It is crucial to know the difference between the IW and OW. Each has their own set of dynamics, realties and possibilities. These are two separate, unique different realms. For example, confidence does not exist in the OW. Can you show me any confidence? Do you have some in your pocket? Everyone is looking for happiness. Happiness does not exist in the OW…there is NO happiness out there! It’s all in the IW I know these may take some of you by surprise. And when you stop and really think about this…I mean REALLY think about this…you cannot see what is in the IW. Feelings, emotions are not in the OW…what you observe is the reflections of what is happening in the IW. But these reflections are determined by what is happing in the outer world, at least until you master Warrior Mind Strength. Most people are living their life in reactions without thinking. All the emotions, feelings and expressions are just reflections of what is perceived in the OW. People have become hypnotized, put in a trance by the NOW…they have stopped thinking consciously and have lost control of their lives! I can’t emphasize this point enough. If you can’t grasp this then DO NOT go on until you have some level of comprehension about this….this is the KEY to developing Warrior Mind Strength. We’re like a puppet to the outer word…you’re stuck in the web of illusion. What ever is happening in the outer world we take it and run it around in our IW. You have become powerless! Freedom comes the day, the minute…the moment you realize that you are not limited in your consciousness to what is happening in the OW. You get to think whatever thoughts you choose. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
16
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
This is when the liberation starts! This is the starting point that we recognize that we live in two worlds; the inner world of thoughts, feelings and reactions and the outer world of circumstances and situations. Once you understand this you can now begin to work in the IW independent and beyond anything the OW throws at you. This is where your power comes, when you realize your consciousness is not limited to the outer world. Ramtha (J.Z. Knight) actually describes how we are addicted to our emotions. Lesson 3: Everything is Controlled by Laws
The law of gravity determines how fast an object will fall to the ground. The planets that are orbiting in the universe are governed by laws. The speed of sound is determined by a law. The speed of light is determined by universal law. E=MC2 is a law. The law of cause and effect states that for every action there is a reaction or similarly, for every cause there is an effect and from every effect there must have been a cause.
Universal Laws Have you ever had "one of those days" when absolutely everything goes wrong? Have you ever wondered why some people are successful, while others spend their entire lives struggling? Do you ever get the feeling that someone is out to get you because everything you touch goes wrong? If you're like most people, these thoughts do occur to you from time to time. But what is the answer to these questions? Is it a question of luck, could it be fate or is there something else going on here of which most people are unaware? The answer is both, all around us and within us, and is called Universal Law. Just like there are Natural Laws that govern nature (such as gravity), there are other Laws which govern all that happens in the universe. From the spiritual to the physical to the mental, everything that happens does so according to Law. You see, the Universe around us is a very orderly place in which nothing occurs by chance. Even though one cannot see the Laws, or hear them, smell them or taste them, they are there. They apply to everything and everyone - nothing is exempt. Whether one is aware of these Laws or not, they still apply - just like the Law of Gravity. Even though one may not be aware of or understand Gravity, it always works. No matter who you are, if you decide to step off the top of a tall building, you will fall at an increasing rate of speed until you reach terminal velocity or until you impact the ground. So what are these Laws and how do they work? There are literally dozens of Universal Laws that exist, but for ease of understanding, they can be distilled down to a main seven: Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
19
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
7 Universal Laws 1. Law of Control 2. Law of Accident 3. Law of Cause & Effect 4. Law of Belief 5. Law of Expectation 6. Law of Attraction 7. Law of Correspondence From these seven, everything else flows. The beauty of the Laws is that once one understands and lives in accordance with them, life becomes extremely simple. Law of Control The Law of Control simply states that we have high self-esteem and feel good about ourselves to the exact degree that we feel we are in control of our lives. Unfortunately, the majority of the population does not live according to the Law of Control, but rather by its inverse, the Law of Accident. The truth of the matter is that every one of us is in total control of our life, but until one takes the step to determine that they are personally responsible for what happens to them, then they cannot help but live by Accident. Law of Accident This Law states that we feel badly about ourselves and have low self-esteem to the degree that we feel events and circumstances control our lives. In other words, we are the victims of whatever else happens around us. If good things happen, then we benefit, but if bad things happen, we play the victim. Law of Cause & Effect This Law is also known as the Iron Law of Human Destiny because it is so profound and powerful. Simply stated, the Law of Cause & Effect says that everything happens for a reason. All actions have consequences, as do all inactions. Distilled down to the simplest possible terms, this law states that for every effect in one's life, there is a specific cause. The law can also be applied in the physical sense through examination of Sir Isaac Newton's third Law of Motion, which states that "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." If, for example, you were to hold your hand over a candle's flame (the cause) the effect would be that your hand would burn and it would hurt! The truly wonderful thing about this law is that by definition then, we should be able to manifest that which we truly want (the effect), simply by exerting the same causes that others before us have exerted and been successful.

Law of Belief The Law of Belief states that whatever you believe with feeling and conviction becomes your reality. It is not until you change your beliefs that you can begin to change your reality and your performance. You have heard the doubters and the naysayers out there who always proclaim "I'll believe it when I see it!" In reality, it is the other way around; it is not until you believe it, that you will see it (no matter what "it" is)! Self-limiting beliefs are perhaps the most detrimental of all thoughts, since they absolutely will keep you from the success that you may want, but don't believe you can attain. There is an old saying that goes "whether you think you can or you can't, your right!" This saying is completely congruent with the Law of Belief. Law of Expectation Simply stated, the Law of Expectations tells us that whatever one expects, with confidence, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. When one expects with confidence that good things will happen, they usually will. If, on the other hand, one expects a negative outcome to a situation, then the outcome will usually be negative. Our expectations play a key role in our own outcomes and they also have a remarkable effect on the people around us. What we expect from those around us determines our attitude toward them more than any other factor. In turn, the people around us tend to reflect our attitudes right back at us - whether the expectations and attitudes are positive or negative, good or bad. Law of Attraction The Law of Attraction states that we attract into our lives, that which we focus our thoughts upon. If your thoughts are constantly on positive outcomes and good results, then that is what we will manifest. If, on the other hand, your predominant thoughts are on negative outcomes and poor results, then that is what you will attract. This is based on the fact that the Universe is simply vibrational energy in motion. Emotions, thoughts, feelings and objects - absolutely everything has a vibrational frequency. Since like attracts like, it is only logical that the vibrational frequency of your predominant thoughts will attract results that have a similar vibrational frequency. We know that emotions that are love-based (love, desire, happiness, wonder, joy etc.) have a very high vibrational frequency, whereas emotions that are fear-based (anger, hatred, intolerance, fear, sadness etc.) vibrate at a very low frequency. Law of Correspondence "As within, so without" is an old saying that perfectly describes the Law of Correspondence. This simply means that what happens on the outside is merely a reflection of what is happening on the inside. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. An individual that is unhappy and living in conflict with themselves, will Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

always exhibit negative behaviors on the outside. Sometimes, one can mask these negative behaviors and thoughts, but the true feelings will eventually reveal themselves. Everything in our lives is a mirror of what is happening within us. If you want to make your outside life better, the only way to accomplish this is to change what is happening on the inside. In order to live the successful, happy life we all deserve, it is necessary to understand and live by Universal Law. The best way to do this is to first and foremost, take control over your thoughts and to stay in the present moment. Ask yourself constantly; "What am I thinking about right now?" If the answer is something negative, then take the opportunity to change your thoughts. This will start to put you back in control of your life which is the first step to lasting happiness and peace of mind! Everything in the universe from the infinitely small, like an atom, to the infinitely large, like a solar system, everything is governed by laws…except of course the things that happens to us ☺… that’s just luck, good luck, it’s just fate. You cannot afford to be so naïve and think that everything in the universe is governed by laws except for you. Don’t you live in the universe? Then the same laws that govern the universe must govern you as well. Is it really reasonable to think that everything in the universe, from the atom to Milky Way, is ruled by laws except for those things that happen to you? As there are laws that govern the outer world there are laws that also govern the inner world.
The Foundation of Warrior Mind Strength – Beliefs
Your beliefs form your reality, your individual beliefs as well as your cumulative joint beliefs. The intensity of a belief is extremely important as to how much a “hold” it has on you and how easy it is to counter and neutralize. There are also some cumulative assumptions that you share with humanity that are more difficult for you to counter. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

And if you believe that people are good and will treat you kindly, they will. If you believe that the world is against you, that will be your experience. And if you believe that you will begin to get “old” and deteriorate at age 30, you will. If you believe that you are poor and will always be poor, your experience will prove it to you. Your beliefs smack you right in the face when you look in the mirror. They form your image…you cannot escape your beliefs. They are the process by which you create your experience. When I mention beliefs, you probably automatically think of negative beliefs. But you’re all sitting there, quite physically, reading this. Your eyes move around the pages, your head nods or shakes, your blood rushes through your veins. You quite honestly, believe that you are alive, and that belief is a good thing! So don’t necessarily think of beliefs in terms of negative beliefs. Don’t concentrate only upon the negative beliefs that you have in your mind. One of the tools in Warrior Mind Strength is for you to see your beliefs conflict with each other. I want you to examine, for the first time in your life, your conscious mind and all of its contents. You have probably heard and read about the dark depths of your unconscious and the deep powers that reside within you. You also probably have heard or read little about the miracle of your conscious mind and what might be there. It would almost seem that you’re too anxious to think that all the answers were beneath the unconsciousness where it was difficult for you to find them. At Warrior Mystery School we challenge that type of thinking and make a game of it. I’m making a powerful request which is for you to be aware of the contents of your conscious mind. A simple enough request, or is it? If you only began to know how loaded it is! Your beliefs are not buried unless you believe they are. The thoughts and feelings and emotions that guide you are not lost in the dark reaches of your mind, they are quite easy to find…if you’re willing to simply to look for them. The gremlins are not in your deep down unconscious. You don’t have to play hide and seek with a psychotherapist to find them. They are not buried in your past, or any past life. You’re not bound by these promises…You’re not bound by your false beliefs. You are a free conscious, free thinking being and so (hopefully) you will learn how to be a joyful, conscious and co-creative being. Then, when you are, you will not be afraid of your inner self, and you will freely allow that information from the outer world into your inner world, being quite secure in your position. When you go to bed at night listen to your thoughts…they are conscious. You can become aware of what you’re thinking; you MUST become aware of what you are thinking! Many of your answers are in your conscious mind. You’ve simply become hypnotized into accepting one line of consciousness, one line of thought and ignoring all the others. It is important that you realize that you’re not at the mercy of the unexplainable, that you are not at the mercy of events over which you have no control, whether those events or physiological events or psychic ones. There’s little difference if you believe that your present life is caused by incidents in your outer world, in your early infancy or other events which you feel equally you have no control. The events in your outer world, your experiences are caused by your beliefs. Your beliefs and you change your life! The seven principles of Warrior Mind Strength will help you understand this training a bit more.
The Seven Principles of Warrior Mind Strength Principle Number 1
The Law of Things: Thoughts are things, they are real forces, and they are energy and are the ‘cause’ of all your ‘effects.’ Principle Number 2
The Law of Bi-direction: The mind is like a two-way radio, it is a sending and receiving station of thoughts. Principle Number 3
The law of Magnetism: The Law of magnetism states that, thoughts that are thought with emotion become magnetized and attract similar and like thoughts. Principle Number 4
The law of Decision: The Law of Decision states that we are perpetually experiencing thoughts and we have the power and the capacity to either entertain those thoughts or release them…that is…to decide what to do with them. Principle Number 5
The law of Placement: The Law of Placement states that we have the power, ability and capacity to place and insert any thought of any type into our mind at anytime. Principle Number 6
The Law of Association: The sixth principle is the Law of Association which states that the inner and outer worlds are associated and connected. The outer world of our circumstances and situations, the inner world of our thoughts and reactions, are connected. Principle Number 7
The Law of Patterns: Given enough time, everything has a pattern and that pattern is connected with other patterns. What’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Patterns reveal the ‘insanity.’

Lesson 4: The Conscious Mind
The beginning of all wisdom is when you realize how much you don't know. One of Bruce Lee’s teachers said it a different way…empty your cup. If your cup is full, there isn’t room for any more. If you think you “know it”, or have heard it before, your cup is full. What I’m going to request of you is to empty your cup. If you’re sitting back and feeling you have a life all figured out or that you have read or heard all this before, then let me ask you….why are you still searching? To be proficient in your Warrior Mind Strength training you have to leave your ego at the door and say to yourself there is so much that you don't know and that you are open and ready to learn a new way of thinking and experiencing life. That’s the being of wisdom! What you're going to find in this training is that there is whole lot about your mind that you don't know and don’t even understand. There are three intriguing aspects of the conscious mind that you must become aware of before your training to start. Your Conscious Mind is in Constant State of Motion It's always thinking thoughts…it’s forever thinking thoughts. Take right now, what's happening is you’re processing the information that you’re reading. Your conscious is working right now. If it's not evaluating and processing, it’s fantasizing, worrying, projecting, remembering, it’s in constant motion. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
26
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
It’s like the energizer bunny; it keeps going and going and going. It’s like a machine with no off switch. This is the first thing to become aware of. Your mind is constantly working and there is always things going on inside it and never stops, never, not even while meditating. Your Conscious Mind is a Great Storyteller Your own mind is a great storyteller…what do I mean by that? Your mind will create stories that will trick you, fool you and limit you in a multitude of ways, way more than you can even imagine. How does it do this? Well, your mind knows you, oh so well. Your mind knows the most intimate details about yourself. Your mind knows your most secret failings; you're inadequacy, your greatest fears. Your mind knows things about you that you that you have not shared with anyone, not even your best friend or spouse. Your mind knows you so well and your mind likes to play with you like a cat plays with a mouse. You're mind will take the thing that you fear the most and project into your thoughts and say, guess what’s gonna happen to you! It will then make you deal with it. Your mind will tell you that these things are going to happen to you and they don't ever happen! So often your own mind will lie to you! It will tell you outright lies. If you had a friend that told as many lies to you as your mind, you would not trust or believe that person ever again. Yet, there you are listening and believing everything your mind tells you! You can’t believe what our own mind tells you! I'm going to repeat this…it is absolutely crucial for you to understand this… You can’t believe what your own mind tells you! Your mind is the great storyteller. It tells you stories, it tricks you, and it fools you and limits you. It has mesmerizes you in countless ways, far more than you're even aware of. So, from this point I’m going to request that you don't accept everything your mind tells you. From this point on when your mind projects you into some scenario that is undesirable and you’re suffering and wondering what’s going to happen. When this happens I want you to say “Is that you the great storyteller?”, and begin to doubt your own doubts. You don’t have to accept or agree to everything your mind tells you, because your mind is that great storyteller.
Your Conscious Mind Has a Lot of Useless Thoughts
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
27
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
There is a lot of useless thought going on inside you. What is a useless thought? Worries are useless thoughts, anxiety is useless thoughts, and our negatives are useless thoughts, fear is a useless thought. Now there is a role and a place for fear in our lives. For example, it’s a good healthy fear that when you go on a camping trip that you don't run up to a bear and give it a big hug! That's a good healthy fear, if you didn't have that fear you could end up being a living example of energy transformation! Yes, there is a role and place for fear in our lives but that isn't what I'm talking about. What I’m talking about is the fear going on inside us. When we’re afraid to try something new; when we’re afraid to approach someone we don't know; when we’re afraid of things that might happen to us in the future. There is a lot of fear going on inside your head that is useless and energy draining! So what's happening is that we are living our lives and creating our reality through a process and mechanism that is in constant motion and fear. And what is really going on here is the great storyteller is fooling us and tricking us into believing the stories!

Lesson 5: Negative Thoughts, Beliefs and Ideas One technique for the pupil of Warrior Mind Strength to start to develop their conscious mind is to become aware of and remove…and sometimes destroy the negative thoughts, beliefs and ideas that are circulating around in your mind. There are 4 simple methods for eliminating non supportive ideas and thoughts from your consciousness. Before we get into the four steps there is one thing you need to realize and that is it makes NO difference to the conscious mind whether you think constructive or destructive thoughts. It does however make all the difference to your results, to your actions and to your life, but it makes no difference to your mind. Your are not your mind Be aware that I'm talking about you and your mind as if they're different, and they are. Just as you are not your body, you are not your mind. Eventually what you will come to understand is that you are not your mind, just like you are not your hands or you are not your feet…you are not your mind. And it makes no difference to your conscious mind whether you think supportive or non-supportive thoughts. But again…it makes all the difference to you, all the difference to your life and all the difference in your actions to create the things you desire.
Your Mind as a Garden So what you are going to start to do is to tend to your mind like person tends to their garden, and the weeds of your mind are your negative thoughts, beliefs and ideas. There are four outstanding methods and techniques for refining your mind.
In the following four techniques you will notice that they are completely different and independent ways of dealing with negative thoughts, beliefs and ideas. Some of the techniques are actually contradictory to one another. These are useful tools to tend to your garden. Every good gardener has several tools to use to ensure their garden is weed free and these are the tools for your mind. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

Neutralizing Negative Thoughts The First Technique is Called “Hack it off!” This may sound gruesome, but it is effective. The “hack it off” technique is used the moment you realize you’re thinking negative thoughts…the instant you recognize it’s non-supportive you hack off that thought process. You instantly remove that thought stream from your consciousness. You then inject a totally different thought in your mind. The key here is that you don't argue with the thought, you don't analyze it; you don't defend yourself against it…you just immediately sever that thought flow and insert a totally different one in your mind. The crucial point here is the instant that you recognize it you sever that connection, kind of like pulling a plug on a lamp. I guess you could label this the “pull the plug”, but doesn’t ‘hack it off’ sound more like a warrior? This will take practice, but it’s been the laziness of the mind that has been producing the non favorable results we’ve gotten.
This practice will be four simple steps: 1. To recognizes that you are thinking a non supportive or negative thought 2. Hack it off as soon as you realize it 3. Insert a supportive thought 4. Move on…leave the negative thought behind you and move forward
The Second Method is “Identification” In this method you become an observer. You observe thought then identify it. So what you do is when you experience a disempowering thought you say, “OK…what I’m observing is a negative thought.” You simply observe it, and instead of putting it off, you observe it and identify it. In this second method, the goal is to become the Observer of the thought. As the Observer of the thought the first thing that you do, the most important thing that you do is you label (identify) it. You say, “What is happening inside me is I am now experiencing “a negative thought” and don't get caught up in it!

31
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
When you understand this next fact, you are a 75% of the way to eliminating the negatives from your life, simply by understanding this next fact and truth. I'm going to write it three times and I want you to read it three times. I want it to exude in your consciousness! I wanted this to burn permanently into your consciousness! I want you never ever to forget this next truth because once you know what you are 75% of the way of a let a negatives thoughts just by simply understanding this next truth! Ready? •
Negatives only have power over you when you react to them!
•
Negatives only have power over you when you react to them!
•
Negatives only have power over you if you…the only time they have power over you is when you react to them!
When you fail to react to the negative, it has no power, zero, nothing, nada over you. Negatives act like psychic leeches; negatives shuck the energy from you. Negatives get their power from you, it’s your reaction that gives them power. If you fail to react to it, it has no power over you. This is so crucial to know and understand. So when the negative comes to you in this technique what you do is you just remind yourself calmly that “It's only a negative thought…it's only a negative thought…it's only a negative thought. “ No matter how “big” the thought, the key is to simply remind yourself that it’s only a negative thought, over and over and over again, and it has no more power over you then what YOU give it! The Third Technique is “Amplification” In the amplification technique what you do is that what ever the negativity thought is you amplify or exaggerate it into ridiculousness, and the key is ridiculousness. If you only amplify/exaggerated it you actually make it worse. By a little bit of exaggeration you make it worse, but the use of OVER amplification and exaggeration you take the power away from it. This is really Theater of the Absurd. Wouldn't it be wonderful if negative thoughts came with little warning signal? You know, if you have a bell on your head indicating ignore this, it’s only a negative thought. But they don’t…they actually sound more like the voice of God…”Guess what’s going to Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
32
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
happen to you!?” Negative thoughts hit you from left field, so to have knowledge of these techniques you’ll be better prepared to handle them. And remember, negatives only have power over you when you react to them, so anything you can do to stop the reaction is a tool to use. The Fourth Technique is “Counteract” With this method you counteract the negative with the exact opposite. So what ever that negativity is, you counteract it with the exact opposite. For example, when the thought comes to you that I'm not going to make another sale today, counteracted with the exact opposite, I'm going to make another sale today. When the thought comes to you that I am going to lose my job, counteract it with the exact opposite, I'm going to be fabulous in my job. When the thought comes to you that you're never going to get ahead financially, counteract it with the exact opposite, I'm going to be tremendously successful financially. When the thought comes to you that you're a worthless person, counteract it with the exact opposite, I'm an amazing person. You see, the mind can only think one thought at the time. Sure, it might appear to you that you're thinking many thoughts at the same time, but really what's happening is your thinking one thought, after another one thought, after another one thought. If you take out the negative and put in the exact opposite you take the power away from it. Use a Boxer’s Method
Just like a boxer boxing his opponent, the next time you experience a negative thought, experiment with some combinations. In this case instead of a left jab, right hook and some body shots use the combinations from above. You have a negative thought; hit it with 2, 3, and 1, and then follow-up with a 4, 1 and 2. Again, experiment with these techniques to determine your favorites and the ones that work better than others.

The good news is you know you have the tools to eliminate disempowering thoughts from taking hold of you. The “bad” news is…you no longer have ANY excuses! You must take responsibility for your consciousness! From this point on you have the choice to either entertain negatives or dismiss them. The choice is yours as well as living with the results.

Lesson 6: Concentration and Contemplation Concentration Did you know that the average person holds an idea or thought for 6 seconds then moves on to another thought? It’s true! And you wonder why you’re not getting different results. You can’t hold a single thought long enough! Concentration is a critical component of Warrior Mind Strength. It is essential to the manifestation of your desires and to the elimination of non-supportive thinking. Most people have a mistaken idea of what concentration is. They associate it with hard work and sometimes painful school memories, convincing themselves in the process that concentration is difficult. If, however, you've ever lost yourself in the enjoyment of a movie, book or other activity, you found that concentration actually comes quite naturally when you are engaged in something that you enjoy. Concentration requires no superhuman effort, although at times is may feel like it. But it does require practice. It is a skill that is learned and developed…and like most skills the more you use it, the easier it becomes. In fact, as you develop your powers of concentration, not only will you find it progressively easier to direct your thoughts towards what purpose you have chosen, you also find your own mental clarity and powers of insight greatly enhanced. Developing your concentration is like developing and strengthening the muscle. If, for example, you haven't been to the gym for while you'll find your first workout torturous, difficult and may even feel “out of it.” But if you continue working out every day by following a regular routine, you will soon start to see results and you’ll find it more enjoyable and you may even have some fun. It's the same with working out in the mental gym of your mind. Your mind is not use to discipline thinking, so your first few attempts at concentration will be met with resistance, and obviously will not be nearly as productive as after you have been mentally working out for while. This is important to remember; be patient with yourself, practice and give yourself time to develop this new skill. Practicing regularly will ensure the best results. When you focus a beam of light and concentrate it through a magnifying glass the beam that comes out will burn through almost anything. If you move the magnifying glass around the beam will be scattered and useless. This applies directly to your thoughts: Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
35
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
Weak and scattered thoughts, lead to weak and scattered results. Strong and concentrated thoughts, lead to strong and concentrated results.
You MUST develop your powers of concentration so that you can FOCUS!
A Side Note: Do you know what the acronym FOCUS stands for?
F = Follow O = One C = Course U = Until S = Successful
Contemplation The technique of contemplation is the single best way, I have experienced, for developing your powers of concentration. Not only will it sharpen and strengthen your mind, it will also give you greater insight into what you're exploring. The practice of contemplation is an integral part of your Warrior Mind Strength training. With contemplation we break through the surface ideas, truths, and laws of whatever it is we are contemplating. By breaking through you get to explore their deeper meaning and implications. This is how all great mystics, sages, philosophers and visionaries throughout the ages have received their insights. Without deep contemplation it’s impossible to pierce the surface of things and get to the mystery. This lack of contemplation is exactly why most people only have a surface understanding of their reality. How often do we fool ourselves into believing that because we can quote facts, heard something before or make intelligent arguments about a subject we know everything there is to know about it? We may be familiar with something, but that familiarity may be very little piece of the “something” and not the entire picture. Being familiar with something certainly doesn't mean we “know” it at all. For example, you can say after reading this course once that you now understand how Warrior Mind Strength works. Sure you have received the basic information, but how different is it for an individual to not only read this information but to practice it regularly! This person will have a far greater capacity to know, understand and be able to use the powers of his or her mind than someone with merely intellectual or factual knowledge. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
36
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
Likewise a person who contemplates any subject for a period of time will have a far deeper understanding than what he does not contemplate. How to Practice Contemplation Contemplation is using your mind like a searchlight to hunt out new information. It is to take one idea, thought, law or truth and probe, examine and investigate it deeply. It is disciplining your mind to remain focused on whatever it is you're contemplating. During contemplation you turn the idea over and over, looking at it from different directions and perspectives. You rearrange its contents discovering new relations, correlations, hidden likenesses and previously unthought connections. You can contemplate anything that inspires you, or something that you wish to understand more clearly. For example: Let's say you wish to contemplate Principle Number 1 - The idea that thoughts are real forces. Use a watch and time yourself, I recommend 5 (min) to 10 minutes (max) per contemplation exercise. Focus on “thoughts are real forces. “ Lose yourself in the idea, think deeply about it. Ask yourself questions like; “What does this mean?, Electricity is force, what does this mean about my thoughts?, What are its implications?, How does this affect me? How can I make this work for me?” Maintain your contemplations for the allotted time…stay on target. Refuse to let your mind wiggle out of the experience. Now, don’t fight with your mind, simply observe when you have gone off track and gently nudge it back to the idea that “thoughts are real forces.”
I will warn you now, your mind DOES NOT like to be disciplined. You’ll probably have to have a conversation with your mind and remind it that YOU’RE the boss. Sure, you may have let it have its own way for awhile…but no more! There’s a new sheriff in town. Notice how I’m making it sound like you and your mind are different…guess what...they are! Just as you are not your body, you are not your mind! As you continue to do this exercise over the coming days and weeks, two things will happen. First, by disciplining and exercising in your mind, with this process, you are developing your powers of concentration. This will make you more alert and creative. Secondly, your intellectual understanding of the subject you're contemplating will deepen.
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
37
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
You'll find that during contemplation you’ll sometimes experience a sense of excitement and enlightenment as the new truths comes alive. I strongly suggest you keep a pen and paper handy when contemplating so you can write down any insights that come to you. You'll find yourself experiencing an emotional level of acceptance of what you're contemplating, this is far more rewarding and powerful than any simple intellectual understanding. You'll penetrate the veil and delve deep into the heart of that subject. The latent power of the mind is developed by exercise. The ability to think correctly and powerfully comes with practice. Begin today and strengthen your powers of concentration by practicing contemplation. You may choose to contemplate the notion that, “you possess a powerful subconscious mind” or that “thoughts influence reality” or any other of life-changing principles contained in this course. Whatever you choose to contemplate, the rewards outweigh your efforts. Have fun in your mind gym and getting control of your mind and thoughts!

Lesson 7: Deeper into the Seven Principles
Now we will go a bit deeper into the Seven Principles behind Warrior Mind Strength
Principle Number 1 The Law of Things: Thoughts are things, they are real forces, and they are energy and are the ‘cause’ for all your ‘effects.’
So when I say that thoughts are REAL forces, I mean thoughts are REAL forces, get it? No…what I mean is…thoughts ARE REAL FORCES! Sure, you may have heard this before and even understand this intellectually and that’s where the problem is… “I know that” will stop your progress dead in the water in ANY thing that you are doing. Again, what I’m saying is thoughts….these things you think EVERYDAY are REAL FORCES!! Every single thought you think has energy behind it, has substance and is having an effect in your life…every thought! You may have heard this before and I hope it will sink deeper this time…you cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought. Weak and scattered thoughts are weak and scattered real forces. Strong and concentrated thoughts are strong and concentrated real forces! I cannot stress this point enough…every single thought you have IS HAVING AN EFFECT IN YOUR LIFE! Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
39
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
Principle Number 2 The Law of Bi-direction: The mind is like a two-way radio, it is a sending and receiving station of thoughts.
We are constantly affecting the outside environment with our thoughts, and the outside environment…those people, groups and communities we associate with…are constantly affecting our thoughts. This is especially true of people that are very close and live together, i.e. husband and wife. Your partner is forever affecting you and you are forever affecting your partner. WARNING! This does not mean that you get to blame your partner for your circumstances. What this means is that you have to be forever diligent and aware of this and watch YOUR thoughts so they will have a positive affect on your partner’s thinking….your are now responsible! This is why it is so important. Look at the social circles you belong to you, your friends, what you read, what you watch on TV…ALL of this energy is affecting your thoughts and then your thoughts affect YOUR reality. Are you starting to get this? Principle Number 3 The law of Magnetism: The Law of magnetism states that, thoughts that are thought with emotional become magnetized and attract similar and like thoughts.
Thoughts that are emotionalized are magnetized and attract similar and like thoughts! So, any thought that has emotion attached to it, changes the dynamic and the “energy” of the thoughts. Try this…think of something benign, let’s say a rock. No big deal right? Not much emotion to it. Now think of the last time you got really mad. Notice how you’re body feels…then notice what other thoughts are coming to you. If you’re doing this correctly you’ll be attracting other thoughts of “negative emotions”. OK…stand up and shake it off… Now think if the last time you were happy, laughing or enjoying yourself. If you can’t WE GOTTA TALK! Now that you have those thoughts, notice how other similar positive thoughts come to you. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
Again, when your thoughts are emotionalized this creates a magnet and attracts to your consciousness similar and like thoughts. This is critical to understand when you want to demonstrate a positive effect. You can only do this through purposeful thinking with emotions. This is power behind the saying “nothing succeeds like success”. Success is a vibration of energy and will attract similar vibrations (thoughts) of energy.
Principle Number 4 The law of Decision: The Law of Decision states that we are perpetually experiencing thoughts and we have the power and the capacity to either entertain those thoughts or release them…that is…to decide what to do with them.
What this means that any non-supportive thought that is persisting in your mind is there because YOU are allowing it to be there! You have the power to either keep the thought or release it. You thought the thought and you can keep it or not…you and only you can do this! Have you ever gotten mad at someone and held that anger for days maybe weeks? And then next time you saw that person, you had no idea why you are still made at them? They released the thought, you kept it and worse yet…you feed it! It all comes down to you and your decisions. What type of life do you want and are your thoughts in congruence with that life? If not, something HAS to change and you are in control of those “something’s.”
Principle Number 5 The law of Placement: The Law of Placement states that you have the power, ability and capacity to place and insert any thought of any type into your mind at anytime.
This is one of the greatest laws there is and oh how we neglect this…you have the power and ability to insert ANY thought of ANY kind into your mind…WOW!!! Then you tie this back to Principle Number 1….”Thoughts are Real Forces”…are you beginning to feel and understand the potential power that YOU have? The best part is the thought doesn’t have to be “real” and in fact, if you are limiting yourself to reality, you don’t quite yet understand your full power…yet. The student of Warrior Mind Strength understands that you are not limited in your consciousness is any way… you have the power and ability to insert ANY thought of ANY kind into your mind.

Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
Everyday you can, and I suggest you do, insert thoughts of health, prosperity, abundance, friendships and personal power.
Principle Number 6 The Law of Association: The sixth principle is the Law of Association. The Law of Association states that the inner and outer worlds are associated and connected. The outer world of our circumstances and situations, the inner world of our thoughts and reactions, are connected. This brings us back to the start of this program concerning our consciousness.
Dr. Joe Dispenza discuss this further here “I create my day” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVFDXFumDks
Principle Number 7 The Law of Patterns: Given enough time, everything has a pattern and that pattern is connected with other patterns. What’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Patterns reveal the ‘insanity.’
Fibonacci, Italian mathematician, discovered the power of patterns. In nature there are patterns over and over again and by being aware of patterns you can “predict” what will happen next. So, by examining your past for patterns (not justification or blame) just patterns, you will be able to make new decisions about the direction of your life. Also according to Dr. Joe Dispenza, most people don’t really think new thoughts; they are simply making a decision between two known past outcomes. So, if you don’t think new thoughts, how you can you get new results? This is where the Law of Patterns is so important.

Field Work: As I have mentioned before, you do not get Warrior Mind Strength from reading but by doing. Get a stop watch and set it to 5 minutes. •
Write down the Seven Principles on a piece of paper and spend 5 minutes a day contemplating them. When you contemplate them, have a note book handy and anytime you get an insight write it down. You can jump around between the principles and make sure you stay with the 7 principles for the full 5 minutes.
•
Take one principle per day and contemplate that one for 5 minutes. So at the end of the week you will have contemplated all the principles. This one will be a bit hard than the first exercise and I know you can do it. I’ll warn you upfront….your mind will drift away about 20 times in the 5 minutes,…so what do you do….you bring it back 20 times. This is a discipline; this is mental gymnastics/fitness. This is gaining control of your mind
•
Contemplate this statement for 5 minutes: “I am in possession of an amazing instrument of power that is transforming my life, now that I am learning how to use it.” Really think and contemplate this…discipline your mind to stay with this.
•
Contemplate this statement for 5 minutes: “My personal vibration determines the circumstances and situations that happen to me, my thoughts and beliefs create my personal vibration.” Again, really contemplate this. Really think about how YOUR thoughts and beliefs create YOUR personal vibration and YOUR personal vibration creates YOUR reality.
•
Self Observation. Several times a day suddenly and unexpectedly stop what you are doing and just observe your thoughts. When you observe your thoughts, just observe them without judgment or criticism, just observe them and take note, i.e. when you’re at work and you’re feeling stressed, stop and observe and take note. When you’re feeling good, observe your thoughts. What you want to do is become familiar with how your mind works.
•
Neutralizing the Negative. There is no time limit on this. Whenever you find yourself thinking a disempowering thought, use one or several of the techniques and neutralize it.
•
Review – Go over the previous sessions and your notes.
WARNING: The Great Story Teller has over 158 good reasons way not to do these exercises. The Great Story Teller is very deceptive, be aware of the stories…it will fight the process. Again, the ONLY way you get Warrior Mind Strength is by doing the exercise, field work and assessments. YOU MUST DO THE EXERCISES!

Session 8: Know Thyself Since the beginning of time all the wiseone’s the sages, the mystics, the philosophers have told us to “know thyself.” This is because at the core, we really don’t know ourselves. Sure, we know our name, our occupation, our physical attributes, dreams, fears, etc. But this is not what the meaning of “know thyself” is. When we are instructed to “know thyself” this means is we are to come in to a very deep and solid understanding of what it means to be this amazing and powerful creature…human. We are to know the power of our own mind, that we DO create our own personal reality, that we are an amazing creature of the Universe and capable of SO much more than we are demonstrating. I’m reminded of a great quote by Marianne Williamson –
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and famous?’ Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson, “A Return to Love”
If the word “God” bothers you…get over it…it’s just a word and signpost pointing in a specific direction. Use what ever word you feel comfortable with that represents the One Power of the Universe. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
The point here is, when you “know thyself” you’ll stop playing small! Natural Forces There is so much in the Universe that we are not aware of. Our sight is limited to a very narrow spectrum, compared to the complete spectrum of light. From ultraviolet to x-ray, we only see a very small sliver. We only hear a small portion of the “sound” that is in nature. Other living creature can hear sounds that we can’t, and possible shouldn’t. If we hear every sound around us we would go insane in moments. There are many “forces” that we don’t perceive, especially the Natural Forces. We don’t see electricity; we see the effect of it. We don’t see gravity; see the effect of it. When “man” started to understand and respect the Natural Forces it was then that ‘he’ could harness them and use them for his progress. Thoughts are part of the Natural Universe and have a Natural Law associated with them. Like all the Natural Forces you can’t see a thought, you can only see the effect. And like the other Natural Forces once we understand and respect them (thoughts) we can harness their power for our betterment. So part of knowing yourself is working with and knowing the laws of thought and being able to harness them and demonstrate that knowledge by living a life of abundance.
Reflection Please take sometime now and review your notes from the last the session assignments. • • •

Doing the Exercises I must emphasize again that the real important…no, the critical part of Warrior Mind Strength is in doing the exercise AS PRESCRIBED. So, here we are…one week since the last session and what I’d like you to ask yourself is…how did I do? Did I do all the exercise everyday? Did I do all the exercises a few times last week? Did I only do a few of the exercise? The key to this training is what happens in between the sessions, not the session themselves. Let me ask you, how many books have you read, how many DVD have you watched, how many seminars have you gone to? And yet you’re still searching. The searching will stop once you discipline yourself to perform all the exercises consistently. The only way you will get Warrior Mind Strength is by doing the exercises. Now, last session I warned you that the Great Story Teller has over 158 very good reasons NOT to do the exercises. The Great Story Teller does not want you to get Warrior Mind Strength. So, looking back, when and where did the Great Story Teller show up? This is very easy to see…if you did the exercises everyday, you surmounted the Great Story Teller. If you didn’t, Great Story Teller surmounted you! So, if you haven’t found out yet, you soon will…this is simple and it is NOT easy! WOW…Imagine that! Something this powerful is not easy…what a revelation. This practice is going to take warrior discipline, it’s going to take perseverance, it going to take tenacity…but if you just keep going…maybe starting over a few times and that’s OK…but keep going YOU WILL DEVELOP WARRIOR MIND STRENGTH! The Conscious Mind as a Garden…Continued If you think of the richest, darkest most fertile soil, your conscious mind is very similar, in that, any seed (thought) you plant will grow. The soil doesn’t care what is planted; it does its job by providing the environment for that seed to grow. Your conscious mind doesn’t care what thoughts you think, it will simply “grow” those thoughts until they take over. Just as weeds can take over a garden, non supportive and negative thoughts can take over your entire consciousness and thought patterns. Here’s the thing…the mind/conscious MUST think thoughts and every facet, every compartment of your mind must programmed by you, if you don’t take your rightful responsibility and program your own mind, then world will program it for you! Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
The protégé of Warrior Mind Strength is the ‘Conscious Gardener’ of the mind. You can create a beautiful and magnificent garden, lush and tropical…or you can create a barren wasteland. If you’ve ever seen the movie, “The Cell” with Jenifer Lopez, there are two very good examples of these two types of “gardens.” Although this is a movie about a killer, it does have some very graphic representations of a “good consciousness” and “bad consciousness.” Make no mistake about this…YOU and only YOU are responsible for the condition of your ‘hidden’ garden. Your life/reality reflects perfectly the condition of your ‘hidden’ garden. So, if you don’t like the results that are showing up in your life….don’t blame the outside world, take a look at your garden…your thoughts. If you do not like your harvest, take a look at the seeds you’ve been sowing! Abraham-Hicks discuss thoughts and creation here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpN1BIMJ36w&feature=related
Cultivating the Conscious So the question arises, what do you feed your consciousness, what seeds does a person sow? Well…if a farmer wants a crop of corn, he sows corn seeds. If a gardener wants a crop of sunflowers, she sows sunflower seeds. We all know this…at one level, but oh do we miss it totally on another level. Do we not understand that thoughts are things that they manifest into consciousness and consciousness manifest into our life? You say that you want abundance, health and happiness, yet you focus on lack, limitation, disease and all the sorrow around you. Is it no wander the state of your reality? If you’re waiting to think successful, abundant and healthy thoughts until you achieve these things, it’s the same wanting your corn crop to grow without sowing any seeds. You must first seed your consciousness BEFORE and many times in conflict of what manifests in the outer-world. You see, thoughts are energy and they have a vibration associated with them.

Feeling Exercise Repeat these words out loud…go on…no one is looking, it’s OK…repeat these grouping of words out loud and “feel” the energy behind them. •
Confidence, abundance, success, prosperity
Now these: •
Fear, lack, failure, worry, problems
Can you feel the different energy behind these words?
So when you’re feeling successful, you have successful thoughts and create successful experiences. The same goes for the opposite as well…when you’re feeling down, insecure and lacking, you have the thoughts that go with them and results follow. I want to make sure you really understand this…the thoughts come first, then the feelings then the results (after the action of course). This is the entire foundation of Warrior Mind Strength, the TFAR model. (If you’ve forgotten what the TFAR model is, go back to the Introduction of this course and it is explained there. ) So….how is it that you can “feel” the thoughts in your body? Because “Thoughts are Real Forces”!
Field Work: Now that you have a better understanding of controlling your own thoughts or else the outside world will provide the thoughts for you go back to your answers from session number 4 and: o Reflect on how these answers are showing up in your life o How can you take control and begin to “program” your own mind o Journal your answers Keep neutralizing your negative thoughts Pick one of your favorite principles and go deeper with additional, deeper contemplation.

Session 9: Inner Work Now we’re going to start our journey into the inner world, this is where ALL creation starts. With a solid grasp of the inner world workings you will be in a position to create and demonstrate the EXACT life you desire
Seeding The first technique for working in the world is ‘seeding.’ What seeding is, is an energy…a vibration…it’s a feeling. For example, you feel what confidence is like, you can feel happiness, and you can feel these vibrations in your body. What the seeding technique is that you are vibrating with (feeling) the energy of the “thing” you want as if you already have it. To do this, you will need to use your imagination and create the feelings and vibrations of the life you desire as if you already have it….your imagination is more powerful than intelligence. As Albert Einstein said “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” When you use imagination consistently, regularly and persistently you can create ANYTHING! The key here is consistently, regularly and persistently. When this done now and again…well…that’s called daydreaming, and has no effect. This means everyday, day in and day out you are going to, with purpose and consciously, use and control your imagination. Your imagination is your ability to create your life! So you’re going to use, honor and work with your imagination and seeding is just one part of it. The best way to help you comprehend seeding is to provide an example. I want you to imagine that you are one of the best sprinters in the world. You’re at a race with the other world’s best sprinters. You’re at the starting line and you HOPE you’re going to win. Feel what that is like…to HOPE you are going to win. Sit with that feeling for a few minutes… OK… shake it off… you’re at the starting line again and now you KNOW you’re going to win. What does that feel like? Much different than HOPE right? Sit with this feeling for awhile…. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
49
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
OK… shake it off…you’re at the starting line again and now you KNOW you’re going to lose. What does that feel like? Much different than winning right? Sit with this feeling for awhile…. OK…shake that off. Now imagine that you’re running the race and the race is over…you WON! You’ve done it…you are the WINNER. What does that feel like? Again, much different then KNOWING right? THAT’S the feeling you want to create when you seed!! The feeling that you WON the race! Not HOPING, not KNOWING, but WINNING! That is the feeling…do you get the difference? This is a TOTALLY and COMPLETLEY different vibration of energy. You must know and feel the difference between these before moving on. If you’ve got it, fantastic, then we can move on to visualization. If not, repeat the exercise until you can feel the difference in the energy between the 4 scenarios. So, with the seeding technique you seed into your mind the vibration that you already have what you desire. No you don’t have it in the outer world, but you are seeding in the inner world, just like a farmer or gardener…you plant the seeds first and then you get to reap what you have sown! Visualization
The second technique is visualization. And visualization and seeding are like two sides of the same coin, they are brother and sisters to each other. Visualization is using your imagination (yes, your imagination) to see something in your mind that hasn’t YET happened. It’s projecting a picture…a movie of the event that you want to manifest in the outer world in your minds eye…your inner world. So you are projecting in the inner world what you want to happen in the outer world. You make and create mental images and see “it” as if it is happening to you. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
50
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
Athletes use this technique VERY successfully during training and before competition. There is one case in particular where a group of basketball students were divided into three groups. The first group practices freethrows everyday for a half hour. The second group did not practice at all. And the third group practiced freethrows ONLY in their mind. After a month the results where documented. The first group improved 25%, the second group did not improve at all and the third group…the group that just visualized the free-throws improved the SAME as the first group…25%! How can this be? Once the desired outcome is imprinted into the subconscious (by visualizing) the subconscious then creates, activates and attracts the circumstances, events, and resources need for the fulfillment of the “imagined” event. It would have been pretty bad if the students that visualized missed making the basket. Think about that…miss…miss…miss…in their minds! How sad would that be? Guess what? We do that constantly everyday and we get the results that we practice…miss…miss…miss. So with visualization you are working with pictures and images in the inner world of what you want to manifest in the outer world. Seeding is working the feelings and energy while visualization is working with the images, pictures, smells and textures. For example, if you wanted to be more confident, then with the visualization process you would imagine yourself in a circumstance and situation displaying and exuding confidence. What if I don’t know what that looks like you ask? Well it’s your imagination; you can picture it any way you want. If it helps, think of a person (real or fiction) that displays confidence and use that as a model. Any way that you can picture yourself with confidence is great! With this process you want to be as detailed as possible, what would you say, how would you say it, how would you stand or sit? Get a picture with as much detail as if you are actually there. You can create the picture either directly through your eyes (first person) or as if you are watching yourself (third person), maybe a mixture of both. It also doesn’t have to be the same scene, just make sure it’s the same theme that you’re working with. Play around with the perspective and see which one works best for you. I will warn you, be VERY specific on EVERY aspect of the visualization. If you own a store and want more customers, image the store being filled with customers AND buying your merchandise.

Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
With visualization you want to lose yourself in the image. This may take time to get a “perfect” picture, just keep at it. There are two conditions with visualization: 1. With whatever you are imagining, you must image it as if it is happening NOW 2. It must be visualized regularly, this does NOT mean once a month, this DOES mean once a day…you must be persistent! Before you being to either seed or visualize, it’s a good idea to relax your mind. If not, you’ll take all your concerns, worries and other non essential emotions with you.
Here are two very simple methods to relax your mind before you practice seeding or visualization. You can do one, or both for a couple of minutes before you start your inner exercises. 1. Repeat to yourself for a couple of minutes, “I feel calm and relaxed, I feel calm and relaxed.” Again, repeat this phrase for a couple of minutes 2. Deep breathing. I happen to like piko-piko breathing from Huna. This process only requires awareness. It does not ask you to move energy into or around your body in any way. To help keep your focus, place one hand on the top of your head and the other at your navel. It doesn’t matter which hand goes where. Now, as you deeply inhale, rest your attention at your crown. As you exhale, put your attention at your navel. Continue this breathing for two minutes, and then check how your body feels. A simple, yet powerful exercise, this breathing style can relax you minutes before you start your inner work, or any important engagement or other situation where you will need a clear and relaxed mind.

Fieldwork: 1. Pick a personal quality or characteristic that you DON’T posses, something that you’re weak in or wish you had more of, i.e. confidence, organization or calm, something that is personal to you. Spend 5 minutes everyday visualizing yourself having that quality AND all the things that you now have or experience as a result of having that quality. Do this exercise for 5 complete minutes…time it exactly! Also, keep the same quality for the entire week . 2. Now seed your mind and yourself with the energy and vibration of the quality you just visualized as if you now HAVE that quality. If you don’t now, that’s OK…use your imagination and develop the energy and vibration of what you think it WILL feel like and then seed that feeling and energy. Do this exercise for 5 complete minutes…time it exactly! Again, keep the same quality for both the visualization and seeding for the entire week. 3. Spend 5 minutes visualizing yourself doing the exercises and the results you will experience by doing them. You visualize yourself being disciplined, committed and persistent with your exercises…you visualize yourself being a natural at it! Once again, 5 full minutes. 4. Rewrite the 7 Principles into the personal. So, instead of the “The mind is a sending and receiving station of thoughts.” You rewrite as “MY mind is a sending and receiving station of thoughts.” Now spend 5 minutes everyday contemplating those rewritten 7 laws. Deeply contemplate them. If you find your mind wondering, then repeat over and over the rewritten laws until your mind gets sick of reprint them and you can contemplate them. 5. Contemplate this statements for 5 minutes everyday: o My power to think thoughts is my power to create my life and I have the power to think whatever thoughts I choose. 6. Self observation – Several times everyday ask yourself two questions o How am I feeling? (then answer yourself) o After you have answered yourself, ask yourself, “What am I thinking?” Then answer yourself.

Journal your experiences and review your notes to date. 6. Chart yourself/document yourself every time you do the exercise NOTE: You can divide the 5 minute exercises throughout the day, and I would suggest to keep at least the seeding and visualization together. Other then that, you can spread them out throughout the day…except perhaps right at bedtime :-)

Session 10: Understanding the System We are thinking thousands of thoughts each and everyday...thousands of thoughts! How many of these thoughts are supportive, positive and focused towards a specific desired outcome? How many of these thousands of thoughts are purposefully and consciously put there by you? What are the things you worry about, are concerned about… are afraid of? What are you thinking about each and everyday!? The apprentice of Warrior Mind Strength asks these and more questions about their thoughts. They know that everything is based on Laws …everything is cause and effect. Knows that the inner world and outer worlds are connected. Knows and understands that if you cannot control and direct your thoughts you’ll never be able to control and direct your circumstances…your reality. We all want abundance, happiness and “good things” to happen to us and the practitioner of Warrior Mind Strength knows that you must first become an expert…as master of your inner world, your desires will then manifest in the outer world. The student of Warrior Mind Strength knows his power and uses this power and their life reflects their power. Their power comes from utilizing the exercises in this course. Their power comes from understating the principles and laws described in this course…they have become masters of their own destiny! When you purposefully and consciously control your thoughts, you purposefully and consciously create your future. If you don’t purposefully and consciously control your thoughts, your future happens to you. Which do you want? Like most great things in life, Warrior Mind Strength takes training, takes discipline, and takes work if you want to create your desired life and reality. It takes no effort, discipline or dedication to simply allow your life to happen. By putting in the time, effort and dedication to Warrior Mind Strength you will develop personal power, success, and abundance…anything you want to demonstrate you will be able to…as long as you put in your time to this practice.

Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
The biggest difference with the Warrior Mind Strength process and many other “systems” out there is that you are being taught NOT to be concerned with your outer reality, but be VERY aware of how you react to it, how you think about it and how your thoughts are reflected in it…be concerned about the thoughts you are thinking each and every moment. In this process when you first gain control of your thoughts, you then gain control of your reality! Until you gain control of your thoughts it is impossible to gain control of your reality! At first you might not understand how this process works but in time you will. For now, trust the process. There’s a saying in rock climbing “Trust the equipment.” I can tell you, when you are 200 feet above the ground it’s sometimes a bit unnerving to trust, but in order to climb up you MUST and HAVE TO trust the equipment. I might not know how it works I just know it does and so I trust it. I’m asking you to do the same…trust this process…this equipment for the mind. In time you’ll realize how it works and until then, just know it does work and keep climbing. You are born with the ability to have complete and total control over one thing…your thoughts. You are a complete master of your consciousness; you are in complete control of your inner world. And when you begin to demonstrate this, your outer world will reflect this mastery! Decision, Action, Persistence There are three important qualities you will want to adopt into your Warrior Mind Strength program: 1. Decision – You must know what you want before you can get it. You HAVE to know what you want…you must make a decision about what you want - the type of person you want to be or where you want to be…but you MUST make a decision. When you make a decision, you activate your will power. Remember that when imagination and will power are opposed, imagination wins. But when imagination and will power are aligned…WOW, things start to happen and happen in a BIG way!
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
56
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
2. Action – All your dreams, hopes and aspirations are of no use unless they are followed by action. Action is the confirmation to your consciousness that you trust and believe in your vision. This acknowledgement creates a powerful energy and vibration that goes out to the Universe that will then present opportunities and conditions for you to realize your vision. This has been called synchronicity. But this cannot happen without action. A very famous person once said “…faith without works is dead…” A little secret about action…just starting it is half the process :-) Also, part of this action is doing the techniques described in this course. Human nature is a funny thing, we’d rather think about doing something, then actually doing it. In order for you to demonstrate your power you must take action in doing the exercises and then take “confirmation” action in the outer world. 3. Persistence – This is probably the single most important aspect you bring to your training. You MUST persist in doing the exercises. Sure you face hurdles, challenges and issues doing the exercises, and guess what? You’re going to face them when you start doing anything worth while….so get use to it…resistance (the challenges, hurdles and issues) work to build your discipline and persistence muscles. Welcome the challenges; for without them you will not grow…just be persistent! I want to address a serious topic for a minute…which is “fooling one’s self” – Many will think that simply reading this course is doing Warrior Mind Strength training. Reading other material is doing Warrior Mind Strength training. Or being positive is doing Warrior Mind Strength training and even doubling up on the exercises (because you missed a day) is doing Warrior Mind Strength training…this is fooling yourself and will not develop Warrior Mind Strength. The one and only way to develop Warrior Mind Strength is by doing the exercises consistently…period! So stop fooling yourself and go ahead and just do the program…you’ll be glad you did :-) So, at this point in your training it’s time, if you haven’t already, to bring these three qualities to your training. Be decisive…be bold! This is your life; this is not a practice run. Decide on a something spectacular and go for it! Take action and do your exercise and then take massive action in the outer world to support and confirm your vision. And most of all, never…never…never…never…never…never…never…ever give up! persistent!

Thoughts and Health I’d like now to move to the relationship between thoughts and your health. To start, I’d like to ask you to watch these “One Minute Shift’s” by the Institute of Noetic Science (IONS): Bruce Lipton - Do our genes control our health? Epigenetics research challenges the conventional beliefs about genes and reveals the role of emotion on our bodies and health. In this video, author and cellular biologist Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. explores the importance of perception in maintaining optimal health. Find out more here: http://oneminuteshift.com/videos/bruce_lipton/healing_perceptions
Healing is something far more profound than curing disease. In this video, medical pioneer Larry Dossey shares how healing is a process of connecting with our infinite non-local nature, which helps us transcend our fear of death and alleviate suffering at the root level. Find more here: http://oneminuteshift.com/videos/larry_dossey_video/true_healing
This video offers a simple yet beautiful perspective on why it is essential for us to attune our bodies, emotions, and minds to a state of wholeness. As we do so, our subtle vibrations become healing vibrations, which naturally spread light through the world. Find out the importance of vibration here: http://oneminuteshift.com/videos/babaji_video/the_power_of_vibration
OK …I can’t resist, here’s a great YouTube video from Stanford Medical Center about the placebo effect and how beliefs can heal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udJ31KKXBKk Why so many videos? I wanted you to see from an array of different and credible sources how powerful your mind, brain and beliefs are in creating disease and health. More Great Information on Beliefs and Your Health Many doctors today use placebo pills, which are just sugar pills with no medicinal properties but the patients do not know this. However, in most cases, those patients who have belief in the doctor and in the medicine they are given become well again.

Even more astounding is the result of a major trial in the USA on the placebo effect of surgery for arthritis of the knee. There were 2 groups; one group had the normal operation on their knee and the other group only had an incision made, with no further surgical procedure and were then sewn up again. Amazingly, both groups had the same positive outcome! Additional evidence comes from a TV program made for BBC's Open University, which showed the following: "The effectiveness of orthodox medicine, as well as alternative medicine, is almost certainly partly due to the placebo effect. In other words, if you anticipate that something will do you good - then it probably will." The program went on to say that, "The placebo effect might represent the ability to harness the positive power of each person's mind and body to heal itself. The anticipation of a positive outcome is almost certainly an important part of the effectiveness of both orthodox and alternative medical approaches." For a further example, consider the book called 'The No Diet Diet', which is the result of a scientific study into healthy weight loss - without the need for any dietary regime. Could this again show the placebo effect at work? The placebo effect shows that there is more to human health and wellbeing than is currently explained by either orthodox or alternative medicine. It is a clear demonstration that there is a hidden factor to understanding reality and that this 'hidden factor' affects all aspects of your life, including your health. For further evidence of the placebo effect in health, please consider the following quotation: "In other words, it appears that the benefits of arthroscopic surgery on arthritic knees have nothing to do with the skills of the surgeon or the type of procedure; symptom relief is entirely down to the placebo effect." - Dr Mark Porter Insights into how the placebo effect works are demonstrated by the following quotation:
"The witch doctor succeeds for the same reason all the rest of us succeed. Each patient carries his own doctor inside him." - Dr Albert Schweitzer The placebo effect can operate in less obvious ways, sometimes having an adverse effect, as pointed out in the following quotation: Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

"An ill-advised sentence, a mistimed jocular remark, or a serious statement wrongly emphasized can damage the patient's recovery processes and result in a tragic outcome." - Neurologist and analyst Roy Grinker The Body is a Healing Mechanism Your body is a miraculous self healing mechanism built to look after anything that happens to it. When you cut yourself, white corpuscles instantly rush to the spot to fight infection, while the platelets congeal the blood and seal up the cut. It all happens automatically; you don't have to do anything. Your body already knows exactly how to repair itself. When you eat, your body extracts nutrients from the food and dispenses them as energy to various parts of the body, as required. It then discharges the rest as waste and, again, it all happens automatically. You don't have to think about it or direct it. Break your arm, you go to the doctor and the doctor heals your broken arm right? Wrong! No doctor has ever healed a broken arm in his life. The doctor can align the bones to make sure that they are straight, he can put the arm in a cast to keep them aligned and free from movement, but only the body can heal the broken bones. Remind yourself everyday…several times a day, that your body naturally heals and repairs itself. Insert thoughts of health and strength into your mind and you encourage it to happen. Affirm to yourself: “My body is a marvelous healing mechanism.” Your Attitude Makes the Difference When you first find out that you have a disease or illness the initial response is to panic. The mind becomes paralyzed with fear and the greater the illness the greater the fear. Part of the problem is that we see our disease as an alien entity or a thing rather than a process. Wallace Ellerbroek, a former surgeon turned psychiatrist, says quite well: “We doctors seem to have a predilection for nouns in naming diseases (epilepsy, measles, cancer, tumors), and because we use nouns as names, then obviously they are things - to us. If you take one of these nouns -measles - and make it into a verb, then it becomes, ‘Mrs. Jones, your little boy appears to be measling’, or ‘Mrs. Baker, you seem to be too tumoring.’ This perspective then opens the mind to the concept of disease as a process which comes and goes.” Dr. Kenneth Pelletier of Stanford University School of Medicine points out that the body can't tell the difference between a “real” threat and a perceived one. Our worries and negative expectations translate into physical illnesses because the body feels as if we are endangered even if the threat is imaginary. In other words people who fear disease are more likely to get disease because the body feels the effect of the fear itself.

Fun And Joy Can Heal It's no secret that pressed people become ill more readily than happy, easy going types. Research has shown that stressful mental states like greed, anxiety, or worry and fear can hinder the immune system’s functioning. To combat this, several enlightened hospitals have set up “humor rooms” stocked with many books, records, videos, cartoons and movies which patients can enjoy. Recent medical research into humor and health has shown that laughter releases two important types of hormones from the brain, serotonin and endorphins, which relieve pain, tension and depression. “There have been all kinds of reports in professional literature about people who have been cured or least helped by the use of laughter and humor,” says Shirley Routliffe, a therapist in Hamilton, Ontario. Today even traditional health professionals are making use of these findings. Further Examples…Your Health is Affected by 'What You Think' Consider the following extracts from findings by psychoanalyst Darian Leader and biological cybernetics researcher David Corfield: "The concept of fighting spirit has also been much discussed in psychologically minded cancer research. Steven Greer and his colleagues of Kings College Hospital medical school in London found that patients with fighting spirit or denial were more likely to be alive and relapse-free five years after diagnosis with breast cancer than those patients who displayed helplessness or stoic acceptance." ***** "Results from a detailed study by Brenda Penninx and colleagues between depression and cancer showed after carefully controlling for smoking habits - since it might seem obvious that depressed people will smoke more - they actually found that the chronically depressed non-smokers were more likely to develop cancer than smokers." ***** "As for innate immunity, a massive amount has been done on how natural killer (NK) cells involved in the immune system's surveillance of new tumors are affected during troubled periods in life. An NK cell's ability to kill - its cytotoxicity - is reduced during times of mental upheaval or intense pressure."

"Cancers have been described as 'wounds that do not heal'. Therefore, findings that psychological difficulties’ impact on the speed with which a wound will heal may prove to be very significant. In one experiment, holes were punched in the roof of the mouths of a group of dental students, once during a vacation period and once just before exam time. A wound in the same individual took on average 40% longer to heal at around exam time. If this exam-time stress can have such an effect on wound healing, imagine the effects of long-term chronic human misery." ***** "Some studies have suggested that the stress hormone cortisol may encourage cancer growth, allowing tumor cells to better extract glucose from the blood by inhibiting its uptake in neighboring cells. This mechanism suggests further potential ways for the mind to influence cancer growth through the control of blood flow."
These are powerful examples of how your thoughts determine your health!
So why so much discussion about health and what does this have to do with developing Warrior Mind Strength? When you control your thoughts, you can control your health and your body is how your experience, create and give in this world. If your body is dis-eased, damaged and falling apart, how much enjoyment do you really expect to give and receive?

Fieldwork: This is going to be an easy week…maybe :-) Everyday for the next week - for at least 5 minutes – bath yourself in thoughts and visions of health and strength…use BOTH the seeding and visualization techniques together. If this seems to be a challenge then perform each one separately for 5 minutes. Send the thoughts, feelings and energy into your bloodstream, your tissues, and your cells. Imagine energy flowing through you. Experience your body as a miraculous healing mechanism.
I hope this exercise will become a daily ritual for you…for the rest of your life. It is an invigorating health tonic, preventive maintenance and can assist with diminishing any current health issues. WARNING: If you are under doctors care DO NOT STOP seeing and listening to him/her, simply ADD this process to you prescribed care until you are demonstrating perfect health. If you have a condition that is not being resolved, see a doctor to start supervised care. This process of thought healing works, but many of us are so used to needing doctors (our beliefs) that we should continue seeking medical advice until such time as we can demonstrate perfect health via our healing thoughts.

Session 11: Affirmations and Acknowledging Affirmations Affirmations are probably the easiest and simplest technique I know of to influence and affect the conscious mind. They have been used for centuries throughout the world in such spiritual and magical practices as prayer and mantras. Today they are being used by people from all walks of life from closing business deals to healing ailments; from meeting people to winning tournaments, as well as numerous other ways. Affirmations are simple statements repeated to yourself silently or out loud, depending on you and the environment. You can do them in your car while you're driving, in the doctor’s office, lying in bed or waiting in the checkout line. You simply decide upon a statement that represents what you want to have happen to you, and repeated to yourself over and over. For example, let's say you're in a situation that usually upsets you or makes you tense, when you’d rather be relaxed and calm. This is the perfect time to use an affirmation. Quietly repeat to yourself, “I feel calm and relaxed. I feel calm and relaxed. I feel calm and relaxed.” Don't try to force yourself to feel, calm and relaxed, just repeat the statement to yourself for a couple of minutes. Likewise, if you have a big meeting coming up and you want it to go well, before the meeting begins repeat to yourself, “It's going to be a great meeting. It's going to be a great meeting. It's going to be a great meeting.” What’s Going On When You Repeat Affirmations? When you're doing affirmations you are influencing the thoughts that occur in your mind. Your mind can hold only one thought at a time, so affirmation’s work by “filling” your mind with thoughts that support your goal. The words suggest to the mind what it should be thinking. If you're affirming to yourself, “It's going to be a great meeting”, your mind quite naturally begins thinking related thoughts about having a great meeting. Your mind effortlessly picks up the implications and messages of your affirmation. It sounds very simple, but this technique can be remarkably effective in helping you gain the results you want.

Make whatever you want to see happen into an appropriate affirmation and use it regularly. When I was successful salesperson I would begin each day with the affirmation, “I’m going make lots of sales today. I’m going to make lots of sales today. I’m going to make lots sales today.” I would repeat this several minutes in the morning and several times throughout the day. In my 15+ years in sales I always hit or exceeded my quote….affirmations work!
Three Simple Rules About Affirmations: 1. Always affirm in the positive. Make your affirmation a positive statement. Avoid asking yourself, “What happens if it’s a terrible interview?” or saying to yourself, “I’m so nervous.” These statements focus on what you don’t want to occur. If you want to be confident, use that word in your affirmation. If you want to be dynamic, use that word. Use the words that reflect what you want to happen. Be specific. 2. Make your affirmation short and simple. Use a phrase or at maximum one sentence. Your affirmation should be like a mantra that you can repeat over and over again without even thinking about it. Don’t ramble on. 3. Don’t force yourself to believe it, just say it. All you have to do is repeat it over and over again and the affirmation will quite naturally have an effect. After all, you don’t force yourself to believe that the medication your doctor has given you will work. You just take the prescribed dosage and assume it will. It’s so with affirmations also; just repeating the statement many times will cause it to work for you.
Affirmations are simple, easy to use and very powerful. Many professional athletes use them to perform well on the field. Successful business people use them to close deals and run their businesses. Artists use them to be creative and come up with innovative ideas. You can use them too, in any area of your life. Now repeat after me, “I am successful, confident and achieve my goals. I am successful, confident and achieve my goals. I am successful, confident and achieve my goals.”

Acknowledging There is an old saying that says, “Nothing succeeds like success.” And it’s true: a success vibration acts like a magnet that attracts success and opportunities to you. When you “think and feel success,” you vibrate with success energy and act accordingly. If you are already successful, you have momentum on your side; the law of attraction is already working for you. You are attracting to yourself even greater success because of the nature of your predominant thoughts. Your success vibration is a great asset to you. If you’re struggling and haven’t seen “success” yet, don’t despair; you still can create the same success vibration using the technique of “acknowledging.” The acknowledging technique begins with searching for areas of your life where you are already successful. Unfortunately most of us are quicker to see our own failures and shortcomings than we are to acknowledge our achievements and successes. To create a success vibration you must change this self-defeating habit and become success-focused. Examine your personal qualities and present situation and find things to feel successful about. Can’t find anything? Look again - they are there! -
Are you a loving parent? Are you a good friend to someone? Do you have certain skills? Are you positive?
-
Do people enjoy your company? Are you generous? Do you dress well? Are you a safe driver?
You are not limited to the narrow definition of success as someone who is rich, famous and good-looking. There are literally hundreds of other aspects of your life that are equally important. The key is to find aspects that help us feel successful in our life. Doing this creates a success vibration. You can also look to your past and acknowledge yourself for past achievements. “But that’s the past,” you might argue. It doesn’t matter; you can use anything, past or present, to make yourself feel successful. I suggest that you reflect upon your life and make yourself an acknowledging list—ten or fifteen attributes that make you feel successful. Spend five minutes every day reading this list over and acknowledging your positive traits, feeling successful. Let these elements seep into your consciousness.

66
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
An acknowledging list can be either general or specific. For example, let’s say you’re going to a job interview for a sales position. You might make a specific acknowledging list that highlights the particular qualities you possess which will help you succeed in such a position, such as: I’m a good communicator, I have great people skills, and I’m organized, or whatever the qualities might be. By focusing on this list, you’re building a specific success vibration. But the same principle works whether you’re closing a million-dollar deal or getting an entry-level job or finding that perfect partner. Create a success vibration and you will attract success. Most of us are quicker to see our own failures and shortcomings than we are to acknowledge our achievements and successes. When we accomplished something we feel good about it for a few days or weeks, but then we move on to new goals and new desires. All too quickly we leave behind the good feelings of accomplishment; we forget that we have even achieved those things. Or new desires and wants become our focus and we let go of the success vibration that was created from our past achievements. This is a complete waste of powerful success energy! If we focus only on what we want to attain, we are unconsciously feeding our mind the idea that we are lacking. We can and must reuse success energies from past achievements again and again. With the “recycling” of this success energy we can demonstrate very positive results. Remember: Consciousness Creates Reality and YOU Create Consciousness! Here more about this from my friend John Kehoe: http://Warriormindcoach.com/audio/Acknowledgingate.mp3
Setting up a Creating Period All the information we’ve been discussing so far comes down to two basic topics. 1. You are either attracting desirable conditions to you with your thoughts OR 2. You are repelling them from you with your thoughts. All the things that are important to you in your life….all your wants and desires…you are either attracting them to you or you are repelling them from you by your thoughts. You must train yourself and your mind to behave and think in new and different ways. Albert Einstein once said “We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." said back in 1936…”Change your thoughts and you change your life.” Truer words were never spoken! This requires you to train your mind BEYOND what your current circumstances are indicating. You can say ANYTHING to your self…you can put ANY THOUGHT into your mind…YOU are in control of YOUR thoughts! You are NOT limited to the outer world…you truly are limitless! In order to develop this type of mental strength…Warrior Mind Strength, you will have to establish a “creating period” where you set aside everyday a specific amount of time or times to practice the exercise outlined here and then start to use your Warrior Mind Strength in demonstrating you new “power.” This demonstration can be from a cup of coffee to a new job…from manifesting wealth to creating perfect health. The demonstration is not ego driven, but comes from a place of knowing that ALL have this same ability and you are here to help them know their own power. You must find the time to practice. Funny thing about time…you probably didn’t know how busy you were until you started practicing the exercises. Then all of a sudden you got a TON of stuff to do. You have a very simple choice…Do you want a better life? If so, you WILL establish a creating period everyday. If you don’t want to improve your life…you won’t. It’s just that simple. The nice thing about the exercises and the creating periods are that once you’re done with it…forget it. As a matter of fact, the process works much better when you do let go of it. It’s like planning a seed and digging it up everyday day to check on it. Once the seed is planted then you take care of it by weeding the area, watering the seed and providing nutrients. The water, weeding and nutrient is the creating period. Then when you’re done you let the seed do its work. You must have persistence in order to imprint, shift and change the way you’ve been thinking. This is NOT trying Warrior Mind Strength; this is LIVING Warrior Mind Strength.

Fieldwork: 1. Pick a personal quality or characteristic that you DON’T posses, something that you’re weak in or wish you had more of, i.e. confidence, organization or peace, something that is personal to you. This can be the same quality as in the last similar exercise, or you can work on a new one. Spend 5 minutes everyday seeding AND visualizing yourself having that quality AND all the things that you now have or experience as a result of having that quality. Do this exercise for 5 complete minutes…time it exactly! Also, keep the same quality for the entire week. Notice that in this exercise you are combining the two techniques of feeling (seeding) and visualization. 2. Affirm to yourself for 5 entire minutes that your ARE that person, i.e. “I’m a confident, I’m confident, I’m confident.” Repeat the affirmation that supports the exercise above, for 5 full minutes. 3. Project of your choice. Pick something that you want to create and manifest in your life THIS week. It could be personal, it could be business, it could be social…you pick an area of your life and what you want to demonstrate this week. Then for 10 FULL minutes, use the seeding, visualization and affirmation techniques to manifest and create this desire. 4. Acknowledging: Make a list of AT LEAST 20 things about you that are positive qualities and successful experiences. NOTE: this is not a time to overinflate or downplay your qualities and experiences…just be truthful. When the list is done read it and acknowledge yourself for being that person. This creates a vibration of success in you. Do this for 5 minutes every day. 5. General Visualization: For 5 minutes everyday Visualize every aspect of your life “working.” Your finances, your health, your career, your family, your social, your spiritual…basically you’re visualizing your “perfect” life/day. 6. Continue with neutralizing the negatives…no set time limit.
I need to tell you something….this coming week is probably the most important week of your life. Let’s face it, if you can’t do the exercises this week…when will you? You’ll always be too busy, have something else to do or what ever excuse you can create. If, however, you have been doing the exercises each and every day so far, and continue to do them each and everyday this week…you’ll be well positioned for the information that’s coming…I saved the best for last…for those that have the discipline, determination and commitment. So, until next time…take a look at this fantastic short video, it will get you pumped! The Power of Attitude http://tinyurl.com/damzqm

Session 12: Developing Warrior Mind Strength Discipline is a topic I refer back to again and again, both in my writing and in my talks, for a very simple reason. Without disciplining both your thoughts and actions, you are unlikely to achieve success, happiness or personal fulfillment. Many people think that Warrior Mind Strength is a magic wand, an easy way to manifest your goals; that you just “think” something a few times and soon it happens. I wish it were so, but it takes more than that. Warrior Mind Strength is an effective and powerful tool in creating your reality, but it will only happen if you have the determination to do your exercises regularly and consistently, week in and week out, and follow up these exercises with action. This will only occur if you have discipline. You must have discipline to persist with your mental exercises…beyond the initial euphoria and novelty of working with your mind in this new way. The discipline to set and achieve weekly goals…this not a philosophy…it is a way of life! Discipline is not a dirty word, and it is not something you should avoid or approach with nervousness. If you dislike the sound of discipline, change your attitude about it immediately and let discipline be your friend, your mentor, your teacher and your coach. The professional sports team or athlete that neglects discipline in either their preparation or on the sports field will always be soundly beaten by the team that possesses discipline. An undisciplined team will not have the conditioning, the strategy or the execution necessary to win. They may have moments of brilliance, even dominance, but those moments will eventually give way to disorganization and ineptitude. Either the lack or wealth of discipline will show up in your life as well. A disciplined life will always be more successful and enjoyable than an undisciplined life. Now a couple of questions: Are you disciplined? Do you play to win in your life? Or are you just playing not to lose? What is your strategy for achieving your goals? How well are you executing that strategy? It’s amazing to me how many people want to be happy, successful and personally fulfilled in their lives, and yet they have no discipline or strategy to achieve it. They think it is going to happen if they simply want it badly enough. Wanting something to happen in your life without having discipline or a strategy is like a sports team entering a game with no game plan, just hoping it will all work out. Don’t hope it will work out. Design a strategy and then execute it.

If you know what you want in life but fail to set and achieve weekly goals, you are missing one of the surest ways to success. I have worked and been successful in many different fields and have a lot to share on this subject. During my one-on-one coaching and mentoring I go into this more deeply. But if I were limited to sharing only one piece of advice on what is most important to success, it would be…mastering discipline and setting and achieving weekly goals. Why weekly? Because a week is a long enough time to accomplish a number of tasks, and a short enough time to notice where you are executing well, and–most importantly–where you are not. A weekly review lets you catch your procrastination, inertia, bad habits and all the distractions and details that sabotage your best intentions. Now another secret revealed: Your best intentions do not count. The only thing that counts is your ability to set goals and achieve those goals. Everything else is illusory. Yes, you might have moments or weeks or even months of brilliance, but you are unlikely to achieve your life goals of success, happiness and personal fulfillment. To achieve these goals you need discipline. You need action in both the inner world of your thoughts, and the outer world of your activities. So first the discipline of setting goals: Ask yourself these questions. What do I want to achieve for myself in this life? Then ask what do I want to achieve for myself this year? What can I begin to do immediately, this week, to achieve these goals? Set yourself a weekly goal that will move you in the direction of the yearly goal. Make the goal measurable. Do not push yourself too hard or you will rebel against the regime. Do not make it too easy or you will lack motivation to pursue it. Choose a middle ground between the two extremes and then begin the week with a set of Warrior Mind Strength techniques you will practice, and a number of activities you will accomplish. After each week review what was done and what was not done. When noticing what didn’t get done, be conscious of the reasons it didn’t get done. This is valuable information that you need for the next week. Plan your next week and work your plan. Review at the end of each week and then plan the next week’s activities. Follow this weekly process and you will soon discover your weak areas, where you avoid doing certain tasks or exercises. Knowing this is extremely valuable. We all have strengths and weaknesses. We all have our own particular idiosyncrasies that trip us up. Until you monitor yourself weekly you might not be aware of them. You must become aware of them so you can design strategies that surmount these problem areas. Discipline yourself to see and know yourself at an intimate level, and to have the courage to make the changes that will cause you to be more effective at setting and achieving weekly goals. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
When you don’t achieve your weekly goal, design a new strategy for the following week and be determined to succeed the following week. There is no need for remorse or recrimination. As the great boxer Mohammed Ali said, “A heavyweight fight is fifteen rounds and you don’t have to win every round to win the fight.” Each week is a new week and a new opportunity to be successful. When you accomplish your weekly goal, acknowledge yourself. This builds a success vibration. Nothing succeeds like success, and you build a success vibration week by week by simply accomplishing your weekly goals. Gradually, as you master this system, you will notice that you are accomplishing an amazing amount. The goal of setting and achieving weekly goals is not to learn how to push yourself harder and do more work–actually if you practice this system you should be able to work less–but rather to get into the habit of being able to plan and execute your intentions. “Execute the basics; master the basics,” says Jim Murphy, a sports coach and mentor to many professional athletes. “When you master and execute the basics, the rest comes naturally.” The same principle applies to your life as well. Master and execute the basics. One of the basics, in having a happy and successful life, is simply mastering the ability to set and achieve weekly goals. Having a successful life is simply having the ability to know what you want, and then having the methods to accomplish it. When you can master setting and achieving weekly goals, you can master anything your mind can conceive of. This simple practice will revolutionize your life. Goals I love to hike and climb…especially rock and mountains. I’ve climbed several mountains in California, Oregon and Washington and one in Mexico. I’ve also rock climbed in Joshua Tree (California) as well as many nondescript location. The one thing that hiking and climbing have in common is the requirement of a destination and a route to get there. I couldn’t imagine trying to climb Mt. Rainier without knowing what route to take. It would be suicide to just start walking up the mountain and hope for the best. Before each climb or hike I study the maps and routes over and over. This ensures that I know exactly where to go, what to expect (mostly) and how to prepare for the trip. On all my journeys I have clear and defined destination. During the climbs and hikes I pay attention to the surroundings and environment and compare the actual to the map. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

SIDE NOTE: You do know that the map is not the territory right? This applies to more than hiking and climbing - take a look at this blurb from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Map-territory_relation I watch for and recognize signs along the way, a boulder here, a snow field there; at each point of the journey I try to establish both where I am and where I'm going. I can't imagine doing it any other way. It can't be done any other way. Imagine taking off on a climb without any course or route…just with hope and determination that you will arrive at the top. How ridiculous and dangerous! Yet that's exactly what we do when we head off in life, hoping and wanting the best but setting no goals as to how to achieve it. Is it any wonder we never arrive? "The reason most people don't achieve their goals in life," remarked author and lecturer Dennis Waitley, rather dryly, "is because they didn't have any in the first place." Everyone wants to be healthy, happy, and successful and hundreds of other things, but not everyone has goals that map out how they will achieve these objectives. Are You Like Alice in Wonderland? In Lewis Carrol's classic Through the Looking Glass, one scene has Alice completely lost, not knowing which way to turn, so she asks the Cheshire cat, perched comfortably on a tree limb, for some help. "Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" asks Alice. "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," replies the cat. "I don't much care where," says Alice. Then it doesn't much matter which way you go," comes the reply. "So long as I get somewhere," Alice adds in explanation. "Oh, you're sure to do that," grins the cat. This dialog is awesome! It's so absurd and yet all too similar to the way we often live our lives. We make a tragic error when we mistake working hard and being busy with achieving goals. We assume that if we're working hard we must be getting ahead. But working hard and trying to get ahead without specific, clearly defined goals on how to get there is living in a fool's paradise. And the sooner we recognize this, the better.

What Do You Want Out of Life? What do you want out of life? Do you know? If you're not sure it's probably time for some serious self-reflection. Each of us at certain times in our lives need to stop and take stock of where we are and where we are going, to make certain that the direction our life is moving in is the direction we want. The goals you set for yourself will determine the circumstances and situations you will meet in life. This being true…so choose wisely and pursue those things that are closest to your heart and soul. I'm reminded of the saying, "A man climbed the ladder of success only to discover it was against the wrong wall." Don't make wrong choices in your life. Your goals should reflect your passions, your instincts, and your vision. If you find yourself unclear on your own goals, set aside half an hour a day for at least a month. Give yourself this time. Don't rush it. Each day, make a list of the five most important things you want to achieve in your life. Do this every day. The reason I say every day is that your list will change from day to day. Some items will seem important one day and not so important the next. Others will be repeated over and over. Doing this over a one-month period will make it possible for you to separate temporary desires from those that are truly important to you. Another method that will help you ... imagine you're ninety years old, looking back at your life. What would you like to have seen happen? What would you regret most not doing? This exercise can help you get a clear picture of what you really want to do. If either of these processes doesn’t bring about satisfaction, I provide Life Purpose assistance in my one-on-one coaching Have Large Goals I like to share story from John Kehoe that address the power of having large goals: “I discovered the power of large goals first-hand as I was about to embark on my first lecture tour of Australia many years ago. I was in Thailand when I phoned the Australian promoter who was organizing the tour. We had made an arrangement that she was to receive 20 percent of the profits for her work. I casually mentioned that I thought she would be making about $10,000 a month plus expenses. I thought she'd be very pleased. You can imagine my surprise when she said that wasn't enough; what she needed to make was $20,000 a month, and that's what she was counting on. I didn't know what to say. I knew the reality of the situation and what we'd probably be earning. I'd been in the business for many years and for her to earn $20,000 a month, I would have to make more than double what I'd ever made previously. I knew that was impossible.

I wrestled with this for several days. What were my options? I could pay her more and take a smaller percentage myself, or she could settle for $10,000. After all, it was a considerable wage. Nothing felt right until I realized that maybe, just maybe, it was indeed possible to make more money in Australia than I had anticipated. I will forever remember the exact moment that this thought came into my mind, because it marks a turning point in my life. I was walking along the beach, while the sun was setting, when I suddenly thought, why not make twice as much money? It would solve the problem perfectly. I had until this point thought it was impossible, but something within me now said it was possible. And as the thought of earning twice as much money became a possibility in my mind, I became charged in a way I'd never experienced before. I felt more powerful than the setting sun. I was unexpectedly alive in a whole new way. Over the next two weeks, as I walked the beaches, new ideas, new ways of marketing myself, new plans kept flooding into my mind. What had been totally impossible two weeks earlier was now not only possible, but even probable-if I followed my plan. I couldn't believe the change. We arrived in Australia and I had the most successful lecture tour of my career. The promoter got her $20,000 a month for the duration of the tour, and I earned more money than I'd ever made in my life. However, I received something more valuable than the money. I learned that opportunities open up when you open up your thoughts. I knew this not as a concept, but as a reality. I had just watched it work for me in the most incredible way. Large goals have a momentum and power that give you the means to achieve them. Don't waste your time asking yourself, "How am I going to do it? How will it happen?" Just make the decision to do it and then watch the ideas and plans follow.” Patanjali, author of The Yoga Sutras, and one of the founders of yoga in ancient India, put it this way: "When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds. Your mind transcends limitations; your consciousness expands in every direction in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." There is a power to having large goals. Try this…take what you’re making a year now add one zero the end of the number (to the left of decimal point)…how does that feel? Now for the real power…by asking the right type of questions…Instead of saying I can’t…ask…how can I? This is true for all desired possession, trips, etc. Instead of saying you can’t afford it (this by the way is programming your mind for lack), ask yourself “How can I afford this?” and then right down every solution you get over the next few days. Pick one or two and set in motion a plan to make it happen. Have Big Goals!

Contacting the Subconscious While most of us are aware that we have something called a subconscious mind within us, there are very few of us who know much more than that about it - let alone how to harness it. This is unfortunate, for your subconscious mind can and should be a great ally in achieving success in your life. All you need do is to establish a working relationship with your subconscious mind. In order to do this, you must become conscious and familiar with this hidden, mysterious aspect of yourselves, and the role it plays in our life. This “side” of you has been referred to the “shadow” side. According to David Richo, there are actually “light” shadows and “dark” shadows.” When you become familiar with BOTH shadow selves and embrace the creative power contained in both of them, you will be able to accomplish unbelievable things! During my one-on-one coaching, I help you identify these shadow aspects and work with them. One of the ways we can get in touch with our subconscious is by affirming to ourselves for several minutes each day, “My subconscious mind is my partner in success.” By doing this we are re-educating ourselves as to the fact that we possess a second powerful mind, and that it is our partner in success. Becoming conscious of our subconscious and moving beyond the limiting thinking of it as some abstract concept or figment of our imagination is a critical step. The second step is to be aware of how our conscious and subconscious minds work together, to learn the functions and roles of each. The subconscious has two main functions in our life. The first function is to attract to us conditions and circumstances according to the predominant thought patterns that reside within it. Many ancient teachings in one way or another tell us “What you focus on you attract.” Now with this new subconscious information, you can begin to understand why this is true. Your subconscious mind is not limited in any way and will forever attract to you according to your thoughts. It has no volition of its own and will simply act upon what resides and vibrates within. Also, your subconscious mind will act upon any request or instruction you give it. Any thought that is repeated over and over again will take an imprint within the subconscious, which cannot distinguish between what is real and what is imagined. This is why visualizations, affirmations and repeated images can have such a powerful effect in our life. By doing these exercises we are creating images within ourselves which the subconscious then acts upon. Our conscious mind is the guardian to the gates of the subconscious. It is the conscious mind’s role to make sure that only the highest quality thoughts gain entrance to the subconscious. When we fully understand that whatever thoughts and beliefs gain Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
76

entrance to the subconscious will eventually manifest in our life, we become very diligent in monitoring and directing our thoughts. Hear more about the subconscious from my friend John Kehoe: http://Warriormindcoach.com/audio/The-Subconscious-Mind.mp3
The Subconscious & Synchronicity Your subconscious mind is a second, hidden mind that exists within you. It interprets and then acts upon the predominating thoughts that reside within your conscious mind. The mandate of the subconscious is to attract circumstances and situations that match the images you have within. In order to understand how the conscious and subconscious minds work together as a team to create your reality, let me again use an analogy. Your subconscious mind is like deep fertile soil that accepts any seed you plant within it. Your habitual thoughts and beliefs are the seeds that are being constantly sown within, and they produce in your life what is sown. Just as surely as corn kernels produce corn and wheat seeds produce wheat, your thoughts will have an effect in your life. You will reap what you sow. This is a Universal Law. The conscious mind is like the gardener. It is your responsibility to be aware of how this process works, and to choose wisely what reaches the inner garden. Unfortunately for most of us our role as gardener has never been explained to us. And in misunderstanding this role, we have allowed seeds of all types, both good and bad, to enter the inner garden of our subconscious. The subconscious will not discriminate, judge or censor. It will manifest success, abundance and health just as easily as failure, ill health and misfortune. It works to reproduce in our life according to the seeds we have nurtured within. Your subconscious accepts what is impressed upon it with feeling and repetition whether these thoughts are positive or negative. It does not evaluate things like your conscious mind does. Synchronicity Once you take hold of the fact that your subconscious will bring to you whatever you need, want or desire, and you begin working daily, projecting the thoughts and images of what you want, seemingly chance and fortuitous events will begin to happen to you. This powerful inner collaborator, working with your conscious mind, will bring to you the people and circumstances you require to achieve your goals. "A thousand unseen hands," as Joseph Campbell describes them, will come to your aid. Synchronicity appears to the uninitiated to be coincidence or luck, but it is neither. It is simply the operation of natural laws which you have set in motion with your thoughts. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

Let me explain further how it works. Modern physics now sees the universe as a vast, inseparable web of dynamic activity. Not only is the universe alive and constantly changing, but everything in the universe affects everything else. At its most primary level, the universe seems to be whole and undifferentiated, a fathomless sea of energy that permeates every object and every act. It is all one. In short, scientists are now confirming what mystics and seers have been telling us for thousands of years—we are not separate from, but part of one giant whole. We now know that everything in the universe is made up of energy. The chair that you're sitting on is comprised of energy. The walls of the room that you are now in, your computer, the events that happen to you are all made up of vibrations of energy. And our thoughts, too, are vibrations of energy. Our thoughts are of the exact same substance as the building blocks of the universe. Once we become aware of this remarkable fact, we can use it to our great advantage. We are fortunate that the laws of physical reality and of the mind are now beginning to be understood. In years past, it might have seemed unbelievable that we could create our reality through this process, yet now, with these new insights, we not only know how to do it, but also understand why it works. Our thoughts being energy, it only makes sense that our repeated images, affirmations, visualizations, deeply held beliefs, fears and desires, vibrating within the larger web of reality, would have an affect upon that reality. In fact, when you stop and really think about it, since we are all connected, how could it be otherwise? Check out more about quantum physics here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFqgSf7GDjI&feature=PlayList&p=B13F8811958 66370&index=2 Self-image Most people think that their self-image is a reflection of who they are. This is not the case. Your self-image determines who you are. This is huge! You see…you will always be consistent with how you THINK you are. You will act, behave and think in the manner of the person you think you are. Your self-image is the thoughts you have about yourself. And you know (by now, I hope) that thoughts are real forces. So, the way you think about yourself is how you will be. Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com

Everyone has a created self-image and yes it is a creation, produced by thoughts you have and are thinking of about yourself. You see you are NOT who you are…you are a result and accumulation of your thoughts, actions and habits from the time you were born until now. So, if you want to be a different person, have different “things” and do different “things”….start to think differently about who you are…today! Your self-image is not directly connected with outer reality, but was formed by your interpretation of outer reality and holding it true as who you are. You created it and you can create a new, more empowering, self-image! So, as you awaken from this illusion of self-image, you no longer say “This is who I am,” but you ask, “Who do I want to be?” You then go about changing your thinking; interpreting outer reality differently and begin to program your mind with the characteristics of the person you want to be. Again…change your thinking and change your life! Designing a Warrior Mind Strength Program If you were to do every technique shared in this program for five minutes every day, you’d probably need an hour and a half per day to complete them, and that’s simply too much time. In our modern, busy, active lives time is precious and needs to be used wisely. That’s why I suggest you limit yourself to twenty to thirty minutes a day. This is sufficient time to see dramatic results in a relatively short amount of time, and yet very doable, even for the busiest person. You do have to work to see results with this program. It’s not a magic wand. Warrior Mind Strength is a practice not a philosophy, and there are very few practices that will guarantee you results from just twenty to thirty minutes a day, and to be honest…you’re fortunate to have these techniques. Some exercises can be general and others specific. For example, you could have a general exercise on abundant health and a specific one to help with your sore back. Or a general one on abundance of money and a specific one on closing an important deal with one of your customers. Designing your own personal Warrior Mind Strength program is like painting a canvas. There are a few basic rules of composition and color, but after that each artist paints in his or her own particular way. The paintings of Picasso and Rembrandt are radically different from one another, yet both are recognized as masters of their craft. So too can you be a master of Warrior Mind Strength in your own unique way; all you need are the desire and a willingness to put time in every day thinking in this new and exciting way. Having personally taught this system to many individuals, I have a great deal of firsthand experience with the different ways people use this program. Each person is different, and this is one of the strengths of the Warrior Mind Strength system—it will suit your particular style and character. Some people use a diversity of techniques, while Warrior Mind Coaching and Training © 2009 - 2011 http://WarriorMindCoach.com
79
Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
others use only one or two. I know individuals who have achieved great success using only the affirmation technique and nothing else. While using just one technique would be too restrictive and limiting for me, it worked for them and that’s all that counts. I am a big believer in RESULTS! So feel free to design your own system. I personally like to spend approximately five minutes on each exercise I give myself. So if I devote between twenty to thirty minutes, that’s four to six exercises daily. I also like to assign myself a weekly program, whereby I stick to the same exercises all week. At the end of each week I review my exercises and alter them as feels appropriate. The mind likes diversity, and changing exercises week by week often spurs one on. The important thing is to make sure you’re doing some exercises every day. Let’s assume you’ve chosen an appropriate goal and you’ve committed yourself to doing twenty to thirty minutes a day for a ninety-day period. A possible program scenario might look something like this: WEEK 1 5 minutes visualizing your goal 5 minutes affirming your goal 10 minutes on subconscious exercises for guidance 5 minutes acknowledging your strengths and creating a success vibration WEEK 2 5 minutes visualizing your goal 5 minutes affirming your goal 5 minutes contemplating the importance of success 5 minutes on self-image 5 minutes acknowledging your strengths WEEK 3 5 minutes visualizing your goal 5 minutes imprinting new beliefs 5 minutes contemplating your personal power to create 10 minutes on self-image 5 minutes of affirmations
So while your goal remains the same, the exercises can vary week by week. Each new week becomes a new work in progress, and our life is our canvas. The key is to keep doing the exercises, remembering that what you focus on you attract. There you have it. I hope you have been doing your exercises and will continue to find new ways in applying them and demonstrating them in your life. There is still so much more to this program, this is just the tip of the iceberg. You still have more than enough information to completely change your life around….only if know what you want and take action!

One-On-One Private Coaching If it’s OK, I’d like to take a moment and describe a bit more about this service. There is trend these days in coaching to leverage time by coaching in groups, memberships and forums. This method is great for some people. I feel people get bigger, better and faster results from one-on-one coaching and then from a group setting. This way the group will have a common platform and experience to share and build upon. I think this method accelerates the growth and development process. So…I only offer one-on-one coaching first (with the exception of a few weekend workshops and retreats). My one-on-one coaching is based on Power, Purpose, Passion and Perseverance. This is in coloration to body, mind, spirit and emotion. My signature event is the 2 ½ Day 2nd Passage. This is a mission quest for men and is absolutely amazing! You can find out more on my blog at http://www.warriormindcoach.com/blog/mission-quest/ When you’re there please download the complimentary e-book that describes what’s happening to men these days and how The 2nd Passage can help. Session 13: Bonus Section We’ve spent so much time together I just couldn’t say ‘go0d-bye’ just yet :-) In this bounces section I’ve provided additional information that will support you in your Warrior Mind Strength training. I hope you’ll find this information as informative as the main course.
Changing Beliefs “One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his greatest surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn't do. “ -Henry Ford (The following is an excerpt from Money, Success and You, a book by John Kehoe.)
Beliefs are as necessary to us as our physical organs. We cannot exist without them. We need them as parameters to interpret what is happening in our life. One could never be without beliefs, nor would you want to be. What you do want, however, is to consciously decide the beliefs you want working for you. To choose the lens you will view the world through. And here your choices are unlimited. You are not at the mercy of your past experiences, unless you believe that you are. With this new system you are free to break away from any past conditioning or limited circumstances by simply changing your thoughts and beliefs. When you change these you change everything. The future that you will encounter in your life is not preordained, nor does it happen arbitrarily. As you have seen in the previous chapter, your reality is forever being molded and created from your thoughts and beliefs. Your possible future - and there are literally thousands of possible futures - is being formed by what you think and believe today. The present is the womb by which the future will be born. The future is dynamically alive within you now. You hold within you your own destiny. Change your thoughts and beliefs and you will change your future. Once you fully recognize the power and influence beliefs have in your life, the next step becomes obvious. Change the beliefs that are limiting and holding you back, and create powerful new beliefs that serve and uplift you, beliefs that will take you wherever you wish to go. There are three main methods for doing this, and all three should be employed. You can begin by using them individually or in combination with each other. Either way, you will eventually be working with all three.

1) Re-pattern Your Past: Don't spend time and energy looking back at your life to find out why you have a certain limiting belief. Why bother? To look backward in this way will only lead you into the habit of seeking negative examples that verify your old belief. Your past has been distorted by the lens you have chosen to examine it through. What is accomplished by searching the past with the same old lens, other than to further reinforce that limiting belief already held within you? This is why much psychotherapy proves futile, simply miring the patient further in his or her own muck. A great many of the unsatisfactory conditions in our life have resulted from our becoming frightened or confused during an unpleasant experience. We began to doubt ourselves, and started concentrating upon negative aspects of our lives, thereby eventually creating that imprint within us. For example, one person, because of an unpleasant experience, begins to doubt his ability to get along with others. So he searches his past with an I don't relate well with people lens, and much to his horror finds many experiences to support this idea. His mind begins to feed on these memories. His remembering becomes highly selective. Without even realizing it, he invents his own history, and furthermore convinces himself that this history represents an accurate picture of who he is. However, if this person had journeyed through his memories with the lens, I get along great with people, trying to find a different kind of proof, he would undoubtedly have discovered many instances when he got on very well with others. However you choose to view your life, through whatever lens you have constructed, this will structure and filter your memories, and you will always be able to justify your belief with "proof." So in changing beliefs you must practice changing your lens. Look through your past in a new way, looking for new, forgotten or ignored truths. If you lack confidence, for example, search your past for instances when you were confident. If you are honest in this search you will find lots of examples of you performing tasks assuredly. But you must search with the lens, "I'm confident," not the "I lack confidence lens." Each lens will produce a different set of examples. There will be numerous examples of both. It all depends upon which you want to emphasize. In almost all cases of present limitation you have programmed yourself to stress negative aspects relating to that part of your life. We all do it. So to rid yourself of these restrictions, you re-pattern your past from the present. Whatever your circumstances…use the past as a rich source of power…looking through it for long ignored successes. Restructure your past. Reinvent it. Rediscover it. It’s like finding a bank account with money that you didn't know you possessed. Whatever you want to become or create in your current life, you can find ample evidence of it already happening to you in the past if you will only change your lens.

Warrior Mind Coaching and Training – Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior! V-2.0
The Present is Your Point of Power Stop for a moment and realize that the present is your point of power. When you are thinking about the past or imagining the future, both these actions happen in the present. When you act upon your life, it takes place in the present. In fact nothing you can do will ever happen outside of the present. So choosing in the present to reframe your past and future is incredibly powerful. An example: Pick a positive quality about yourself that you are proud of and absolutely certain you possess. Perhaps you are caring, loving and compassionate towards others. Now, using your memory, search your past for times when you were not caring, times when you were selfish, mean, unkind and hurtful. Locate a number of these examples. Now imagine yourself lingering on these images each day. Each day you purposely recall these images and feel bad about them. Soon you begin telling yourself that you are indeed meanspirited and selfish. If you continued this practice you would literally hypnotize yourself into believing that this selfish, mean-spirited person is who you are, and then you would begin to become this person. This belief would become self-fulfilling. Likewise with your negative qualities. We have programmed ourselves without even realizing what we've been doing. We have hypnotized ourselves through repetition and selective memory into believing that this reduced version of ourselves is who we are. But you can change this. You can look within yourself for evidence of whatever positive qualities you desire. Examine your past with this in mind. Do not let the past reinforce your limitations; use it to reinforce what you wish to become. Be diligent about this. Use the selective process of your mind to your advantage. 2) Imprinting: What is 6 x 6? , 7 x 5? , 9 x 9? How is it that you know these answers instantly, quicker than you can punch the numbers into a calculator? It is because you have imprinted the multiplication tables into your consciousness. Think back to when you were in school. Think of how many times these tables were repeated, written out and practiced, until eventually they became imprinted into your consciousness. And now they are firmly imprinted. You need not practice them or refresh yourself - they are there for life. What you have done with the multiplication tables can also be done with new beliefs you wish to permanently imprint into your consciousness. The process is exactly the same, and the repetition equally important. For five or ten minutes a day concentrate your attention as vividly as possible upon one simple statement. For example, if you wanted to imprint a belief about your subconscious that would help you to be successful you might use this one: "My subconscious mind is my partner in success." Having picked the statement you wish to use, begin to concentrate on it. Try to feel the statement in whatever way possible. Do not allow your mind to drift to other subjects. If it does, bring your attention back to your statement and refocus. Feel the power and implication of what you are saying. Let it become alive within you. Repeat it over and over, allowing your mind to absorb its message.

If your mind insists on images, channel the images toward your declaration. Close yourself off to all other truths or realities, focusing solely upon the feeling and power of the statement. The repetition, whether verbal or mental, is important because it activates neurological patterns. Do not strain. Do not question or doubt. Enjoy the process. Claim it absolutely within. Lose yourself as completely as you can in this one statement. Let it vibrate within you, letting you and it become one. Feel its power. Let it energize you. When the exercise is finished, do not dwell upon it, second guess yourself, and wonder if it’s true. Put if from your mind until the next day, when you will repeat the process. Realize you are using the present as a moment of power to insert new beliefs that will naturally be materialized. It will happen automatically. You may want to experiment with the precise wording of your statement. Often it takes three or four revisions before the statement feels exactly right. Once you have it right then simply continue with it. You may experience spectacular results almost immediately. If you do, wonderful, but do not let this fool you into discontinuing the exercise. Often when people begin this process they do not realize how quickly results can be seen, and they become overexcited about the results achieved. In their excitement they forget to continue the exercise. If you want permanent results, you must fully imprint the new belief. A minimum of sixty to ninety days is necessary for a permanent imprint to take hold. 3) Action: The sooner you begin to act upon the new beliefs you are creating, the better. Otherwise you are not trusting and using the present. If you are poor and want to have more money and you're trying to establish a belief in abundance while still faced with your lack, then begin demonstrating abundance. In your outer reality take some symbolic action that shows you are changing. Maybe give some money (no matter how little) to charity. Indulge yourself somehow. A nice meal, a new article of clothing, a little gift to yourself. Or if you're lacking confidence, you would first re-pattern your past, searching and finding past examples of you being confident and you would focus daily on these. You would also imprint new empowering beliefs supporting your confidence, and then finally you act as if it were true. Bring action into the formula. No matter how small or inconsequential the action may seem, it is a huge step. It is a manifestation in outer reality. Responding to your new beliefs in this way is sending a strong signal to your subconscious that new realities are beginning to take hold that you are willing to change, that you are cooperating with the process that it is in fact already happening. The initiative must come from you. Challenge yourself to find ways to demonstrate your changing reality.

Does your life seem like a disappointment, a betrayal, a ruin of my expectations? Is the life I’m living too small for your soul’s desire? Do you have the courage for me to answer the calling of your soul and accept the invitation to the second and much larger life?
“The 2nd Passage” represents a time when there’s a kind of collision that occurs inside of you, between the ‘sense of selves’; the one you’ve acquired, taken on and accepted, and the one you were born with - the true, natural and authentic self. The 2nd Passage” is dedicated to you and your success. This is a one-on-one private session lasting 2 ½ (it may feel like year though). During our time together we’ll not only discover the “reason” behind some of the sabotaging factors in your life, but we’ll also dig into and change many of limiting beliefs, thoughts and ideas you have around your self, your self-image and your personal success. In addition, you’ll discover your purpose, define your vision and create your mission! There a quite a few “intensive’s” that provides a similar process. But they are usually in groups with little to no personal follow-up support.
