Everyone has a home. No matter where you live their is most likely someone with a home that could use some help.
House Sitting- While people are out of town you can o"er to stay at there home and make sure everything is taken care of. Often this involves taking care of pets and plants. You can also just come by the home everyday to make sure everything is kept up and secure. Handyman- Homes need constant maintenance. A Handyman fixes anything around the house. Window Washing- Most homeowners rarely wash their outside windows. They can get very dirty. Windows can be washed inside and out of homes or stores. House Cleaning- Homeowners rarely find time to really deep clean their homes. Deep clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, etc. Getting behind fridges and thoroughly cleaning baseboards all need to be done periodically in every home. Furniture Cleaning- Clean and disinfect couches, chairs, beds, etc. Tile Grout Cleaning- Clean the spaces between tile in kitchens, bathrooms and showers. Book Repairs- Anyone with kids is bound to have a pile of books collecting dust that need some repair work that moms haven’t found the time to do. Organic Pest Control- Pest control is a thriving industry today but many people are afraid of harmful chemicals. Get rid of people’s bugs by using natural products like diatomaceous earth and essential oils. Peephole Installer- When someone knocks on the door it is nice see who is there. Install peepholes up high for adults or down low for kids. Animal Control- Many yards have rodents like gofers, mice, rates, squirrels, weasels, and raccoons. Homeowners pay a ton of money to have them removed.

Carpet Cleaner- Carpets need to be cleaned about every 6 months. Rent or buy a carpet cleaner and clean carpets. You could even just spot clean an entire house. Paint Fences- Wood and metal fences need to be painted or they will rot or rust. Paint fences to keep them looking good. Paint Home Exterior- Stucco and wood siding homes need to be painted every few years to stay looking nice and to prevent rot and decay. Epoxy Paint Garage Floors- Oil spills will stain concrete epoxy paint garage floors to keep them looking nice and easily clean up. Paint Garage Interior- Almost all contractors won’t paint inside the garage. Painting the garage helps it look nice, last longer and is one of the cheapest things to increase the value of a home. Paint Home Interior- People often need a new paint job in their home or want to change the color of a room. Power Wash Homes- Homes get dirty will dust and spider webs. Spray down the siding and eaves. Clean Gutters- Gutters will fill with leaves and debris and will clog if not cleaned. Spray them out and even install gutter guards. Hanging Up Pictures- Many women constantly want their pictures moved or changed around the house. My mom kept me busy full time rearranging pictures and hanging them up. Most frames come with a cheap hook, installing a wire across the frame will make pictures hang more secure. Christmas Lights- Whether it’s the elderly, working parents, or busy moms, by December 1st everyone needs their Christmas lights put up. Holidays Decorations Up/Down- Many people go to the extreme for holiday decorating. O"er your services to help put up and take down holiday decorations. Holiday Yard Flags- Many people are patriotic and love to have a national flag placed in their yard or on their home on national holidays. This could be expanded to team flags on game days. Game Day Yard Flags- Most people are sports fans of one sport or another. Put their team flag up in their yard everyday their is a game. Flag Pole Installation- Installing permanent flagpoles in people’s yards. Air Filter Changer- Change or clean air filters for heaters and air conditioners for home s. 3
Garbage Can Service- Once a week, take out and return trashcans to the street on dumping day. Clean them after being dumped for an extra service. Boat Cleaner- Clean boats before and after owners take them out for the day. Camper Cleaner- Clean out campers after people go camping. ATV Cleaner and Maintainer- Change oil and air filters on ATVs and clean them for the owners. Shoe Shine- Shoe shine people’s shoes at their home. Come over once a week to shine all their shoes. Christmas Tree Disposal- Dispose of Christmas trees for people after Christmas is over.

Making and selling products you make can be fun and easy. If you are good with your hands or like to make things then there could be an idea here that can work for you.
Make and Sell Crafts- Look on pintrest and find crafts to make and sell at boutiques. Vinyl Letters- Set up a service to go to homes and print vinyl letters for moms decorating their homes. Custom Home Decorations- Make home decorations and sell them at boutiques. Re-purpose Furniture- Collect old furniture and paint it and resell for a higher price. Baby Hair Bows- Make and sell baby hair bows to boutiques. Dog Houses- Make and sell doghouses. Chicken Tractors- Make and sell chicken tractors, which are portable chicken coops. Bo"er Weapons- Make play weapons out of PVC and foam and sell them at a city event or to friends. You can make swords, PVC bows, shields, spears, etc. Potato Guns- Make and sell PVC potato guns. Bread- Bake and deliver homemade bread to neighbors. Knitting- Knit blankets, hats and scarves and sell them at local flea markets or to boutiques. Card Making- Make and sell cards at boutiques. Photographer Assistant- Partner up with a family photographer and get kids to smile and look at the camera charge the photographer a fee. Personal Chau"eur- Chau"eur elderly people or kids around town. Refereeing- Cities always have local sports games. Referee them for money. Foreclosure Cleaner- When a bank forecloses on home it is often left messy. Charge the bank to go and clean those homes. Event Ideas
If you want to make a bunch of money quick and want to have fun at the same time then setting up an event could be worth a try.
Outdoor Movie- Set up an outdoor movie in your back yard with a projector and speakers and invite the neighborhood. Charge admission and sell drinks and popcorn. Air Soft- If you own a bunch of air soft guns you could rent them out to groups or set up an event to come play air soft and charge admission. Larp Battles- You could make a bunch of foam bo"er weapons and charge people admission to play Hunger Games or other battle skirmishes. Laser Tag- Set up a laser tag course and charge admission. Neighborhood Play- Round up the willing neighborhood kids and put together a play. Charge admission to watch the play. Assassin Game- An assassin game is where a bunch of people signs up and everyone gets a name and some silly string. The object of the game is to assassinate the person you have before someone assassinates you. Last one left wins. Set up an assassin game and charge people to sign up. DJ- DJ for a local wedding or event. Puppet Show- Set up a puppet show with neighborhood kids and charge admission. Host a Dance- Set up a dance in your backyard, park or parking lot and charge admission. Band- Get a band together and charge to play at weddings, local events or even hold your own concert and charge admission. Quartet- Set up a singing group and charge to sing at weddings or local events.

Ra#e- Instead of selling an item set up a ra #e where everyone pays a dollar per ticket and whoever name is drawn wins the item. Singing- Solo sing for local events or at restaurants. Event Photographer- Take pictures at events for people and charge them per hour or sell them the photos. Party Facilitator- On birthdays and at kid parties facilitate games and activities for the kids.

Stand Ideas
This is probably one of the most traditional ways kids have made money. Change it up. You don’t always have to sell lemonade.
Soda Stand- Instead of selling lemonade like every other kid on the block. Mix and serve custom soda drinks like a coconut coke. Serve popular soda brands and let people choose the di"erent flavors to mix in their drinks. This is a super popular business right now. Give it a try. Face Painting- Set up a face-painting booth at a park or a local city event. Play Instrument in Public Place- Play your instrument in a public place like on a busy sidewalk, at a city event or restaurant. Cartoon Portraits- Set up a painting booth and charge to paint a cartoon portrait at a city event. Hot Chocolate- Sell hot chocolate on a cold day on a busy street corner or at a bus stop. Snow Cones- Sell snow cones next to a pool or on a busy street corner on a hot day. Bake Sale- Set up a table with baked goods at a public place, garage sale or local city event. Tutoring Ideas
I am sure you are good at at least one topic at school. Tutoring kids younger than you in subjects you are comfortable is a great idea. As you teach your understanding in that subject will get better.

Re-Sell Ideas
Buying things and selling them when there is great demand allows you to charge a premium price. At a hot city fair people will pay one dollar for a water bottle that costs four cents because it is convenient and they are thirsty.
Backpack Dollar Store- Always carry pencils, pens, erasers, candy and snacks in your backpack at school and sell them at recess. Holiday Sales- At parades and city events sell water, powerade, and candy. Up-sell Used Goods- Find used goods at garage sales and on craigslist for really good deals and sell for a higher price. Flowers- Sell flowers on holidays like Valentines, Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Sell School Fan Gear- On game days sell school jerseys, t-shirts, hats, and other school fan gear. Candy Machine- Set up boxes of candy in trustworthy places where people can buy a candy like a chocolate mint and pay on their honor. Glow Sticks- Buy glow sticks in bulk and sell them at city and holiday firework events.

Organic food is a hot item right now. Growing food on in a garden or raising your own animals can be a great little business if you have the space.
Homegrown Produce- Grow a garden and sell the produce to neighbors or at a farmers market. You can even sell garden shares. Farm Fresh Eggs- Get chickens and sell eggs to neighbors. Sell Baby Chicks- Hatch your eggs and sell the chicks. Farmhand- Hire out your time to farmers. Fix fences, do irrigation, run tractors. There is always work on a farm to be done. Feeding Animals- Feed people’s horses, cows, pigs and chickens everyday. Farm Sitting- Care for animals and farm while people are out of town or on vacation. Hay Hauling Services- Recruit a group of friends to haul hay and have the farmer pay you and you pay all your friends. Goat Milk- Get milk goats and sell their milk. Sell Baby Pigs- Raise and sell piglets. Board Horses- Take care of people’s horses on your farm and charge a monthly boarding fee.

It doesn't matter where you live as long as you have access to a computer and inter net you can make money online. Online you can even make money while you are sleeping.
Blog- Blog about a niche or passion and earn money with google adsence, a $liate links, or sponsors. Youtube- Make youtube videos and get paid for advertising by becoming a Youtube partner. Podcast- Start a podcast and get sponsors. Niche Website- Create a niche website and earn money with google adsence, a $liate links and digital products. Online Product Reviewer- Reviews are huge today. Before anyone buys a product they read reviews. Create reviews on products that you want and sell them on your website. Take Surveys- Take online surveys to make money as a kid. Make sure sign up is free. Fulfilled By Amazon- Buy clearance items from stores and sell them on Amazon through Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA).

You probably know more than the average adult about technology since you have grown up with it. Adults are often scared of technology. This provides a great opportunity for you.

Sell VoIP Phone- VoIP phones can be set up for people’s home phone with out a monthly payment. It works through the Internet and works just as good as a landline. Programming- Learn to program and create games, Iphone apps and software to sell. Helping Elderly Set Up Electronics- Elderly are usually don’t understand new technology. Help them set up their TV, blue ray, computers, etc. Digitalize Pictures- Many people have tons of photos in scrapbooks and boxes that are useless. Scan them into the computer to make digital copies. Make a Digital Scrapbook- Use Shutterfly to create quality digital scrapbooks for people. Movie Conversion- Convert VHS and home videos to digital copies and DVDs. Who doesn't like pets. This is a great way to convince your parents that you need a new pet. Tell them it is going to be a business. You will both be surprised at the great business it can actually be. My first successful business as a kid was raising and sell ing baby rabbits. It was a lot of fun.
Sell Baby Dogs- Raise and sell puppies. Sell Baby Cats- Raise and sell baby cats. Sell Baby Rabbits- Raise and sell baby rabbits. Sell Baby Rodents (gerbils, mice, etc)- Raise and sell rodents. Dog Sitting- Take care of dogs while people are on vacation or out of town. Sell Baby Doves- Raise and sell doves. Dove Releasing Service- Raise white homing pigeons and release them at events like weddings, funerals and other events. Petting Zoo- Take rabbits, gerbils, chinchillas, goats, chickens or other pets and set up a petting zoo in the park or on city events. Pet Groomer- Pets need to be washed, clipped and hair trimmed. Create a service to do these services at pet owner’s homes or have them bring them to your house. Dog Walker- Dogs’ need to walked everyday and people often don’t have time to walk their dogs. Animal Boarder- Have people bring their pets to your home to take care of them while they are away. Animal Trainer- All pets need to be potty trained and it is nice when they are trained to do tricks or hunt. Pooper Scooper -Dogs leave their poop all over the yard. Most of the time you are already doing the yard care in your own yard. It is really easy to do it for your neighbors but this time you can get paid.
Mow Lawns- Mow lawns once a week for people who don’t want to or don’t have time. Aerate Lawns- Lawns need oxygen to be healthy. Rent an aerator and aerate peoples yards to make money fast. Weeding- Weeds are everywhere in yards weed flowerbeds, gardens and crab grass in lawn. Tree and Bush Trimming- Trees grow suckers all summer long they need to be cut o" or the tree will start to look like a bush. Bushes often have a shape or need to be a certain size and need constant pruning. Landscaping- Homeowners are always making they yard better by putting in a water feature, fire pit or rock wall. Planting- Planting is an on going process in yards and gardens, seed lawns, plant flowers and trees or bushes. Sprinklers- Every year sprinklers need to be repaired and adjusted. Winter cracks pipes or dirt clogs the sprinkler heads. Yard Maintenance- You can build a business using all of these yard tasks or just a couple of them. Watering- In dryer climates plants need consistent watering to survive. Water plants while people are out of town or if they want help with it every week. Laying Sod or Planting Grass Seed- Either planting a yard for the first time or replanting in places where the grass has died. Fertilizing- Lawns can use fertilizing at least four times a year to healthy and green. Weed’n Feed- Weeds will grow in the grass. Fertilizer and weed killer can be done together with weed’n feed

Edging and Weed Whacking- Edging is done along sidewalks to make the yard look well groomed. Weed whacking can also be used around fences, trees, and any other edges that the lawn mower can’t get. Organic Plant Pest Control- Plants in flowerbeds and gardens often get overrun by bugs, natural products like diatomaceous earth, essential oils and ladybugs can get rid of them. Build a Sandbox- Kids love to play in sand boxes. Build a sandbox in a yard and provide a top for it so cats can’t poop in it. Swing Set Installation- Swing sets often come in a box and have to be put together. Provide a service to install the swing set and put it together.

But it takes money to start a business. Wrong! There are many ways to get stu! for free and sell it to make money.
Golf balls- Recover golf balls at golf courses in the tall grass, trees and bushes. Golfers loose tons of golf balls, especially golfers like me. I have found buckets and buckets of golf balls. Electrical Wire Stripper- Collect wasted copper wire from constructions sites or from electrical contractors, strip and sell to metal salvaging companies. You can make a lot of money doing this. Recycle Metal- Collect aluminum cans, copper wire, or other metal and recycle for money. To learn more click here. Metal detecting- Use a metal detector in parks and public places to find coins and rings and sell them to ring stores. Bugs- Find caterpillars on milkweed and put them in cages. Sell the bugs in cages. Spiders- Raise spiders and sell their babies or find spiders in the wild. Rocks- Collect geodes or other unique rocks and sell them. Ladybugs- Collect ladybugs and breed them and sell them to people with gardens. Second Hand Service- Get left over’s from garage sales, or o"er to come pick up items people want to give to consignment stores like Goodwill and resell it through garage selling it or putting it on Craigslist. Firewood- Collect and chop firewood in the woods and sell it in bundles to campers or people with wood burning stoves.
