Dynajet Pulsejet Engine
After researching a number of pulsejet projects and coming to the conclusion that the designs are either lacking or just does not work, it appears that building a pulsejet based on the Dynajet engine is the best of all worlds. The commercial Dynajet is expensive and all that is needed was a piece of metal 2.25" long. The same same thing with the tubing for the tailpipe. The aluminum or blue steel to machine the valve head is only about $10 which is big enough to make 3 valve heads. A piece of 2.5" ID black steel pipe is needed to make the combustion chamber for $8-$10, for the tail pipe one can use a steel tube from an old bike or other source. For the junction between the combustion chamber and tail pipe a stainless steel measuring cup or something of similar size will work. Use a mig or arc welder to put it all together.
Above is the valve head drilled out and turned down to the propershape.
