IBM WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition V7 Workshop
WM150 (classro om) VM150 (online) Course Abstract
Course description This 2-day, instructor-led entry-level course provides students with the basic knowledge and skills needed to successfully use WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition V7. IBM WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition V7 provides a reliable solution for moving files – regardless of size – between IT systems. It enables files and documents to be transferred across a dual purpose backbone that also handles messages. This course provides students with an overview of WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition V7 concepts and facilities. Students also learn how to install and configure the product on Windows. Topics include designing and developing file transfer solutions, performing single or group file transfer requests, creating scheduled transfer requests, problem determination, and recovering from file transfer failures. Hands-on lab exercises in this course are designed to reinforce the lecture material and give students a chance to practice the basic skills needed to work with WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition, such as working with file transfer requests and templates, using the command line interface, and troubleshooting and debugging.
