Museum STEM Education Air Force Heritage Program Board of Directors Resolution, August 31, 2010: “The Air Force Heritage Board supports the SECAF’s initiatives to foster an Air Force culture that embraces science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educational outreach. In this regard, the Air Force Heritage Program recognizes the critical need for STEM qualified individuals in the USAF and American workforces of today and tomorrow. To those ends, and to the benefit of the Air Force's own important workforce needs, the NMUSAF, in addition to its mission to portray the history and heritage of the USAF, will emphasize and expand STEM motivation and education within its exhibits, activities and education programs throughout the Museum, and as a specific design consideration for the Museum's future construction and plans.”
