•
Full Access (Administrator)
With Read Only access level the user will only be able to view the properties of the node. The user will not be allowed to change the node properties. This is the restricted mode provided by the access control. With Full access level the user will be able to read and modify the node settings. By adding users to a user group named Nokia BTS_Admins users can have full access rights assigned. Users not being part of this user group will have read only access rights. Note The user group "Nokia BTS_Admins" is created when User Access Levels checkbox is ticked and the Next button is pressed in the Program Maintenance screen.

DN05228246 Issue 8-4 13/03/2008
Installation on NetAct Node Manager Server
If the user checks the tick-box User Access Levels at the time of SiteWizard installation then the user access level functionality is enabled and by administering the user group Nokia BTS_Admins full access or read only access rights can be assigned to individual users. If User Access Levels is not selected, the user access level functionality is disabled (by default, all users have read/write access). Note Access levels are enabled only for Remote Connection. In local connection this feature is disabled and the user has all the normal rights even if the registry key is present.
Note With Full Access there are certain restrictions to ensure the remote connection is not lost due to error. These restrictions include running of the Commissioning Wizard, Reset to Factory Settings and Restore Back-up Settings. The table below describes what actions are required for the User Access Level feature.
Table 1.
