Intoday’sageoffastfoodandtake-out,manyrestaurantshavechosentofocusonquic preparationandspeedydeliveryofordersratherthanofferingarichdiningexperience.Unt veryrecently,allofthesedeliveryorderswereplacedoverthephone,buttherearemany disadvantagestothissystem,includingtheinconvenienceofthecustomerneedingtohave physicalcopyofthemenu,lackofavisualconfirmationthattheorderwasplacedcorrectl thenecessityfortherestauranttohaveanemployeeansweringthephoneandtakingorders WhatIproposeisanonlineorderingsystem,whichisatechniqueoforderingfoodsonl applicableinanyfooddeliveryindustry.Themainadvantageofmysystemisthatitgreatl simplifiestheorderingprocessforboththecustomerandtherestaurant.Whenthecustome visitstheorderingwebpage,theyarepresentedwithaninteractiveandup-to-datemenu, completewithallavailableoptionsanddynamicallyadjustingpricesbasedontheselected options.Aftermakingaselection,theitemisthenaddedtotheirorder,whichthecustomer reviewthedetailsofatanytimebeforecheckingout.Thisprovidesinstantvisualconfirmat ofwhatwasselectedandensuresthatitemsintheorderare,infact,whatwasintended.
