Operation – New World
Mission Statement – The goal of this is to create a small community of peaceful people, that share like minded goals and views on similar things. eople that want their children to have a real education, that want food that is grown naturally and cared for, water that is clean and !oiled, etc. The goa l is to take the good that the world has and to make it !etter. "ater on, to make more of these areas and present through through
out the world, making the world any overall !etterplace.
"ocation The area that we do this is really important, !ecause we try to make the most out of the #arth when !uilding. $or e%ample, we attempt to !uild as many !uildings as possi!le inside of hill side. We do this to keep the tempature en&oya!le, all year long. 't also works as a sound insulator, to prevent as much noise travel and noise polution. (s we can see, the location is very important. We want an area that has a heavy tree population, this is important !ecause it will !e used for the different structures. refera!ly we wont something far a!ove the water level, though this is less important, !ecause the end goal is to have this anywhere that
people want it. The main thing we need are Trees, as they will !e used as a source for construction later on. 't is an additional plus if you are close to Sand, and )lay. Sand is at any !each, generally. )lay is all over, and it*s very afforda!le if it can*t !e found. The ne%t thing we need to look at is the si+e. The si+e depends on how much food you want to grow, and how many people you want to live lin your community. ' persoanlly !elieve that a community of - to people is more then fine, - !eing the perfect si+e, no more then /-- people. This may sound like you would need a large area, !ut you really wouldn*t. Sense the ma&ority of structures are !uilt into hills, this means the top of the houses, the land on the cieling, is used for growing food. Though these aren*t the green houses which last longer, they still work great for the warmer parts of the year and allow for personal growth of food. Normally the food is grown else where on land, and it is harvested !y the people that work it, and some of the food is portioned out to the people, !ecause it is a group effort. Though everyone also has their own land, a portion of it, so that they can grow their own food. This is a good !enifit to supplement the food of which you already have. #ven if their aren*t hills, these can !e man made, filling land in on on the structures. /- to /0 people could easily live in one acre of land. $or /-- people, this would !e around to 1 acres of land that would !e needed for the housing. The houses would generally !e a construction of Sand!ags to make the walls, plaster for the inside of them. The sand!ags are more then thick enough and strong enough to prevent any moving, especpially with the weight of !ag on top of !ag.
Structures The most common structure will !e the 2ousing Structures. These structures are all !uilt into hill sides, with roughly feet of earh !etween each structure, as well as the thickness of the sand!ags and such. The 3ood will have multiple sky lights, to allow for naural lighting. The front of the housing structures have a lot of window to them, to allow them to have a lot of natural light in them. Thr fornt also has sand !ags, though these are covered in wood to look nicer and to seal theoutside. There is a possi!ility that the outside of the sand!ags will !e covered in wood, though this isn*t truly needed, as the sand!ags wont !e damaged !y water or moisture, only possi!ly plaster or sheetrock will. Though this can !e avoided !y using sheets of plastic to !uild up an layer to the moisture. This would then allow for easy placement of the sheetrock4plaster.
These houses are made to !e circlular, as this allows for more usa!le space. The inside is generally structured with wood, !eing earth toned it is very healthy, from a mental stand point. 't*s also very strong, and easy to come !y. Sand 5ags can !e used if needed, though this is more for additional noise protection, such as if you have a room mate that would !e noisy, or you don*t want to hear them. #ach house generally has 6 rooms, a kitchen, a diining room, 6 !ath rooms, and aliving room. What we concider the 7standard family structure7. #ach room has a closet, and under the !ed has !uilt in storage. One of the Walls in !oth !edrooms also has a !uilt in Shelf, for !ooks, or whatever is needed. This is !uilt in with (do!e or )o!. "ogs will !e cut to si+e for support of the shelter, and the floor will !e made of concrete or wood, it will !e elivated 8foundation9 !y to /6 inches. This helps to prevent any possi!le floording. The Toilet is a :ry Toilet, having dirt thrown on it and it*s disposed of in a !ag 8diodegrada!le9 into a !it, that is !urried when the time comes. This eliminates the need for most piping. The sinks are normal sinks, though set in wood. The !ottom of the sin% is screwed into a container that holds the wasted water. ( &ug of water witht he clean water flows to the faucet, then caught !y the tu!e on the !ottom, that is emptied and thrown away. This would !e poored onto the ground, though ;uite a ways away from where swelling is, generally off the land. The water wouldn*t !e 7!ad7, as we wouldn*t !e using anything that could !e soon as !ad. The !ath would have run off from the house, with a small pipe. 'f not, then there would !e a pu!lic !athing area. The !ath, no matter where it is, would !e heated traditionally, !y feeding a fire. Though it doesn*t take very long to get the fire hot. Windows are !uilt in, sort of. )o! or (do!e can !e used to shape the frame, if youd ont want it s;uare like the wood, this is possi!le. This allows doe the window to still !e relaced if it*s !roken, !ecause it*s in a wndow frame.
Water Water is one of the most important sources we have, and we are very wasteful as a people. When we gather water, we do it through a couple different methods. /. 3ain – We catch rain water, it goes into a chute. This goes into a holding container, two different containers. One for !athing, the other for common use. 5oth are distilled prior to use. The one for !athing is used twice. 't should !e caught in a !ucket and poured !ack into the main !ucket used for !athing. This is again !oiled to clean it, and used once more. This is why their are two containers. )ontainer ( and container 5. )ontainer ( is the one that catches the water and the water comes through normally. When it flows out, it
will go into container 5. 't can !e recycled !ack through again, coming out of container 5, !eing used again. Though only after !eing !oiled. When it cycles !ack into container 5, there is a plus that allows for it to !e drained from this container and disposed of. This allows for us to get dou!le the usage out of the rain water that we collect. 6. Snow – When it does snow, it offers a large supply of water, for the containers to always !e full. (ll it takes is for it to !e !oiled down i the cotainers. Then we have f resh, clean water. . Well – 'f we can find Well Water, then this is great also, if not, then this is fine. >. u!lic Water – We have access to pu!lic water if need !e, though it would need to !e higher !oiled to clean it !efore use.
School and #ducation There would !e multiple school !uildings, though these would !e ;uite simple. There would !e roughly > to per community. This would all for roughly /0 students per class, possi!ly a !it more or less. The Schools would focus on the !ase three fuctions, 3eading, Writing, and Mathamatics. There would also !e #arth Sciences, methods to stay green and help the #arth. 5iology and Science. hysical education would also !e a very important aspect of class. Other then this, the children must go to 6 hours of Martial (rts training per day, 0 days a week, minimum. Other then this, they must also complete their daily chores assigned to them. When they turn /6 they start learning from a Tradesmaster, so that they can !e of great use to the community. This would take place on / of the days off, and 6 hours additional per day. We never know what is around the corner, so it is important that everyone is prepared and ready for everything, this is how we stay safe. ( cook will still know martial arts, even if it isn*t their specialty, they will still know it, from having drilled it for many years when younger. There is a emphasis on physical training, as much as their is of
Mental and Spiritual training. (s with the ma&ority of (merica !ecome O!ese, we wish to destroy this concept and make this nation, and the rest of the world, fit once more. The time spent in hysical #nducation, doing a num!er of different physical activities, this helps to heelp the mind active, and give fun through out the day. The Martial (rts do much the same, though they also strengthen you internally, help to !uild and develop charecter. We strive for !alance in all things in life. The children learn to meditate, to calm and strengthen the mind from a very early age. The schools start early in the morning, and ran ge from to 1 hours long. Though the schooling doesn*t go as far as it does normally, !ecause this isn*t needed. Some of the su!&ects are still done , !ut the time is shortened to less then hours a day, as a child going into !lacksmithing wouldn*t need to know "inear (lge!ra. Though through a multitude of activites, games, and learning methods, each kid will come out e%tremely intelligent.
)ommunity Working The idea is to come together as a commputer, the entire community !eing much like a familty. We enforce this !y many ways, such as as many as possi!le getting together and helping to put together a new house as possi!le, for a new residant. We also would get together once a month and cook outside, have food prepared and cooked for everyone, as a type of gathering to talk to people, get to know eachother, etc. (nything we can do to !ecome closer as a commuity, we try to do this, seeing us as a large family.
)urrency and 5arter System Though we run off of no currency, we each do our &o! and get what we get. We get the needed food, we have shelter, we have all the things that we need to live. There are other things we get as well, though these things are time gated. Such as, if you got a pair of !oots and want another, this iisn*t fair. These are e%tremely high ;uality and wont &ust fall apart, though they can !e repaired. These type of things are recorded !y the tradesman, as well as sent into the 3ecords, so there are two forms of record availa!le. This makes sure that everyone gets their fair share. 2owever, if someone makes something special, and they wish to !arter it with someone else, we can surely do this, making an even trade. Though it will !e witnissed !y people to make sure no issues will arise from it, and once traded, there is no giving !ack or complaining, whats done is done.
$irearms,(lcohol ?ewels and :rugs We collect (lcohol, through purchase, and creation. We make our own through many different methods, from 5eer, Meed, to Moonshine. We then flavor them, and allow them to age. This is done for the plessure of the people, as well as for a possi!le form of !artering. (lcohol is one thing that people will always want, it will !e a great form of !arter when, and if we need it. $irearms are the same way, through purchasing them and through possi!le theft. These are normally !urried and stored away in a multitude of places, along with the ammo for them. These could !ecome e%tremely useful in the future, for a multitude of reasons. ?ewels, such as stones and precious metals, are also e%tremely important. We generally melt them down to our own sym!ol, the triangle, and reinforce them with stronger metals, much like they are done today. We then store them away, !ecause these are also a form of currency. We take the gems and &ewels and we place them with others of the like, and store them. Some of them time we place them into metal makings, for ritualistic use, though generally we do not. There is ritual where, which will have metals and gold and such, then there is this, which is our currency and savings for later. We grow Mari&iwanna, this is common, though for medicine. We also store much of it away so that it can !e used for currency, and for selling it. We can afford much with the type of money that this can !ring. Not only this, we also create our own drug, a com!ination of )ocaine, a small amount of "S:, and M:M( 8#%tacy9. Making sure to use the purist form of each of these, putting a ratio of them together that make you feel good, see visuals, and !e alert.
:efenses We have a wall !uilt up around this area, and it is grown over with vines and wild gro wth. This is done mainly to camouflage it from onlookers, and it will !e far enough out of the way that it wont !e easy to find. The wall will !e two layers, one that is of the wall, then the one in front of it !eing of lim!s made into spears, !urried into the ground. This is more for running animals that charge the wall, though it is a good sign against intruders. There will also !e four gouard towers, shifts changing every > hours, people rotate night shift patrol. There is also > people patrolling the grounds too, each with a dog on a leash that is highly trained, generally a wolf dog hy!rid. Outside of this, there are two scouts in the woods, this is much less known, they consist of the Oni, the $orest :emons. They are a s;uad of roughly , very trained, very stealth !ased. They use long ranged !ows while in camouflage. They also have the a!ility to travel in the trees very easily. They do so !y ropes, and the a!ility to cross them very ;uickly. They are seldomly seen, !ecause of their camouflage. (ll the people are trained and are willing to defend there home if needed, everyone is trained !y !lade, !ow and spear, and have there position to hold. Needless to say, anyone who would attack wouldn*t !e en&oying it. The Walls would me rather thick, so they would catch most of the !ullits or arrows.
3eligion We strive to teach the :ao, the natural way of things, though anyone is a!le to do as they please. Though we don*t allow religion to !e done pu!licly, !ecause we !elieve that religion and worship is something that should !e done in your own space, or in solitude, it*s a very person &ouiney and e%perience. We also !elieve that organi+ed religion is the downfall of the human race, and has caused a multitude of different issues, and hundreds of thousands of deaths. We !elieve that !y making it more personal, it has less of a chance to !ecome commercial and rise up, and more of a chance to !e what it should !e, personal spirituality for yourself. Meditation is different, !ecause it lacks all religion, it is more a!out mastering yourself. #ach house can have a person shrine or alter within it, if they so chose, this is up to them.
