Introduction

This short report presents the design calculations of the proposed soldier pile wall as a temporary earth retaining system for the proposed substation at Colombo. Two options have been considered in terms of the lateral supporting.

Analysis SAP2000 software was used. 1m strip of the retaining wall was considered. 75x150x6 I section was taken as per the supporting element.
