SAP PI Installation



In system setting adjust the visual effect for best performance



Assign virtual memory to increase the performance.



Run the JDK 1.4.2.30



Open Environment Variable from my computer - properties – advance - Environment Environment Variable



Add the path for JAVA_HOME



Add the path for JRE_HOME



In systems path add up these values.

;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;



Run SAP server exe to install Oracle.



Locate the drive where you want to install oracle and insert the SID based on three alphanumeric characters.



Skip software updates and press next.



Select install database software only.



Select single instance database installation.



Select enterprise edition.



Select the installation path.



Check the summary and click install



Run sapinst exe for sap installation.



Select standard system from Sap net weaver 7.3 – Oracle – SAP System – Process integration – Standard system.



Select typical and click next.



It will log you off to start installation process press ok and login again.



Browse to select the path of java components.



Assign the SAP SID



Uncheck for FQDN and click next.



Select the path for Kernel NW73



Select the path for EXP1 and click next.



Assign the master password.



Assign the database SID.



Select installation export path.



Select the DB version 112 and click next.



Select the locations for redo Log archives and click next.



Give the listener details and press enter.



Select No SLD and click next.



Select the path for Oracle client 112.



Select the path for SL controller and click next.



Check the diagnostic agent and click next.



Give the required DASID and click next.



Select no SLD and click next.



Select don’t configure SSL connection.



Check the summary for all given parameters click revise of you want to change any parameters otherwise click next to start installation.



If the installation finishes successfully you will see this screen.
