1. The Magician prepares the cards based on the sequence of the number of letters of the numbers on the card. And this sequence is marked following the sequence rainbow colours. 2. The number with the least number of letters is “5” (which spells “FIVE”, 4 letters). 3. The Magician can tap on any 3 cards for the first 3 taps because the spectator will not say “Stop”. 4. At the fourth count, the Magician must tap on the RED card because if the spectator chooses “5”, he will say “Stop” now. 5. If the spectator does not say “Stop”, the Magician will continue to tap following the sequence of the rainbow colours until the spectator says “Stop”. 6. If you cannot remember the sequence of rainbow colours, here an interesting acronym to help you:

Template You may print out this page on a piece of thin card. Cut out the rectangle (the number side and the colourful side in one piece). Fold into half and stick the two sides together with glue and you will have 7 pieces of cards ready to play this trick.
