APPLICATION PRIORITY DATES UNDERGRADUATE
All applicants are encouraged to apply early for priority consideration. There are two options when applying for admission, Early Bird option and Regular option. Late applications are only considered if there is space in the programme. The Early Bird option is recommended primarily for highly qualified applicants, summer applicants and international applicants who would like an early decision on their application. Any applicant may apply during this period. Applications submitted during this period will be considered for admission and given an early decision. An early bird applicant is one who has submitted an application along with supporting documentation by the stipulated deadline.

Te applicants must demonstrate teir potential for underraduate university studies by virtue of attainments, prior learnin and/or relevant work experience, all of wic must be relevant to te proposed course of study. In addition, te application must be supported in writin by individuals avin first-and knowlede of te applicant's potential. Applicants' knowlede, skills and competencies will be evaluated under te University's Prior Learnin Assessment Policy, in order to determine teir equivalencies to te University's entry requirements. Tey may be required to attend interviews as well as successfully complete a refreser Matematics and/or Developmental Enlis course. PROFICIENCY TEST IN ENGLISH Students admitted to te University of Tecnoloy, Jamaica will be required to do a Proficiency Test in Enlis. Students wo fail te Proficiency Test will be required to do a non-credit bearin Developmental module, wic tey must pass before bein allowed to take te University level Communication modules.
ACCOMMODATION Te University currently provides 503 bed spaces in seven residential facilities. Tere is one co-ed facility, namely te Dennis Jonson Hall of Residence; sinle occupancy is not offered on any of te Halls.
Tere are two male Halls, namely Farquarson Hall, a triple occupancy facility, and Hall F, offerin only double occupancy. Garvey Hall, Halls A, B, and E are female residence. FEES All fees are cared on a per credit basis, and te cost per credit differs in eac Scool/Department. Tuition fee is estimated based on te modules selected and te cost per credit of te Scool/Department were te module is delivered. Te final cost may vary based on a student’s selection. Prospective students sould terefore clarify te fees before makin any final financial arranement. Tuition Fees for te Academic year 2016/2017 will not be available until May 2016.
