APPLICATION PRIORITY DATES UNDERGRADUATE

All applicants are encouraged to apply early for priority consideration. There are two options when applying for admission, Early Bird option and Regular option. Late applications are only considered if there is space in the programme. The Early Bird option is recommended primarily for highly qualified applicants, summer applicants and international applicants who would like an early decision on their application. Any applicant may apply during this period. Applications submitted during this period will be considered for admission and given an early decision. An early bird applicant is one who has submitted an application along with supporting documentation by the stipulated deadline.

Applicants' knowlede, skills and competencies will be evaluated under te University's Prior Learnin Assessment Policy, in order to determine teir equivalencies to te University's entry requirements. Tey may be required to attend interviews as well as successfully complete a refreser Matematics and/or Developmental Enlis course. PROFICIENCY TEST IN ENGLISH Students admitted to te University of Tecnoloy, Jamaica will be required to do a Proficiency Test in Enlis. Students wo fail te Proficiency Test will be required to do a non-credit bearin Developmental module, wic tey must pass before bein allowed to take te University level Communication modules.

ACCOMMODATION Te University currently provides 503 bed spaces in seven residential facilities. Tere is one co-ed facility, namely te Dennis Jonson Hall of Residence; sinle occupancy is not offered on any of te Halls.

Tere are two male Halls, namely Farquarson Hall, a triple occupancy facility, and Hall F, offerin only double occupancy. Garvey Hall, Halls A, B, and E are female residence. FEES All fees are cared on a per credit basis, and te cost per credit differs in eac Scool/Department. Tuition fee is estimated based on te modules selected and te cost per credit of te Scool/Department were te module is delivered. Te final cost may vary based on a student’s selection.
