Len Wein engineered the return of the old foe Chaos very effectively.
Although, the clear standout of the issue was Mayo's explosive VAMPIRELLA, several other stories are worth
mentioning. Offhand, I'd have never thought that Luis Garcia's style could utilize color effectively. Yet the artwork in "Janis" was often stunning in its evocative beauty. The story by Budd Lewis and Victor Mora, actually more of a vignette, resolved itself quite well at the end of page 41.

last page was anticlimactic. ("...And that's the premise of the novel I'm writing based on the actual peasant superstition.") UnnecesAnnoying! Cliche! It sary! hindered an otherwise powerful tale.
