Safety - T3 Quest Program

History of T3 Energy

Quest T3 has maintained an excellent safety record with Quest. The Quest program interfaces with Human Resources, Quality and HSE to train employees in safe service practices. Quest strives for continual improvement and fosters a teamwork environment. Their combined standards ensure compliance within the industry. EH&S Excellence Since 2007 we have made significant improvements in our EH&S performance, reducing our annual injury rate by over one-half achieving our best safety performance ever recorded in 2008 to .3 from a 2.3 in 2007. We also reduced our lost work time and restricted duty incident rate by 70% between 2007 and 2008. One of the key elements to our sucess was emphasizing individual responsibility for safety and health by all employees and at all levels of management. T3 vision for a sustainable development was hold managers and supervisors responsible for leading, implementing and maintaining safety at their work areas. T3 also maintain an EH&S management system to ensure that performance goals are set and monitored, programs are implemented and audited, and progress is periodically reviewed and communicated with corporate management. This system functions to ensure that this policy is being followed. The Results T3 Energy has gained invaluable benefits with the Quest Program to include a safer work environment and enhanced safety training. Weekly HSE reports are reviewed and discussed in every staff meeting, making safety awareness a top priority. T3 Energy is now more confident that safety knowledge today is at its highest levels.

smaller acquisitions were made as T3 merged with Manifold Valve of Jennings, LA. API 6D product lines were gained with purchase of Pipeline Valve (PVS), and Custom Coating Applicators-both of Houston, TX becoming a part of the T3 family. New products included Model 6012 Ram BOP, and Annular BOP Models 7012, 7022, 7082.

Acquisitions went International with the purchase of Oilco of Nisku, Canada. This acquisition expanded product lines into other geographical markets and customers. T3 became a manufacturer of rubber goods with the purchase of Alberta Rubber Products, Inc. of Canada. New product introductions included Model CVC1ME Electric Actuated Production Choke, Model CVC4MEA Hydraulic Stepping Actuated Production Choke, and Model T3 Drilling Choke. T3 manufactures rubber goods used in oilwell flow control, seals for BOPs and casing/tubing hangers.

T3 acquired KC Machine of Rock Springs, WY This acquisition continued T3’s expansion of its pressure and flow control, wellhead and pipeline products and services to those customers located in the Rocky Mountain Region. New products include Model 6012R BOP, and Model 6012W Ram Blocks with wear pads.

T3 acquired Energy Equipment Corporation (EEC) of Houston, TX with new valve and wellhead products for surface and subsea drilling and production.

T3 acquired Azura Energy System’s Surface Wellhead business providing additional geographic locations in key markets and allowing consolidation of several facilities where both companies are presently located.

TDS I (formerly Oilco) of Canada - world renown for its seal technology - gives our customers a unique advantage. These rubber goods and metal-tometal seals for casing/tubing hangers, valves and chokes are used in our TimeSaver systems.

Among the knowledge base are engineers from several of the largest wellhead service providers. Those familiar with oil/shale deposits in the world, who have already led to the creation of unique advanced technologies, and a highly skilled workforce.

Many applications also require abrasion resistant sealing components. Here our ownership of T3 Elastomers

TDS II

A fluted mandrel hanger is the primary means for hanging casing. T3 offers four options to allow cement returns to the surface, DDV prep. available.

TDS-2 combines the features of TDS-1 Thru Diverter System with the TimeSaver-2 Unitized Wellhead. The Diverter Attachment Assembly can land multiple casing strings with speed - installation and removal with Slip-nLock weldless connection. Depending upon which design is selected, DDV porting.

With this solid foundation, the product development team at T3 Wellhead and Production Systems is moving forward with drilling products designed for rigorous demands. The technologies which obtain oil and gas from shale reserves means energy producers require more flexibility and time savers for oil extraction than the more traditional oil production services. These processes require full API compliance as well as rugged and reliable T3 industrial wellheads. T3 manufactures several TimeSaver Wellhead Systems that meet those requirements.

TDS-1 Thru Diverter System uses a conventional slip-type casing hanger as primary means for hanging casing during drilling operations.

Emergency Equipment: A conventional slip-type casing hanger and packoff support bushing.

Custom coatings are also provided in-house at T3 for various wellhead products, valves and chokes per industry requirements. Special interior surface coatings for corrosive/ severe service is made available in-house at T3.

BO-10 Hanger Coupling The BO-10 coupling requires the TC-1W wrap-around tubing hanger for annular seal. By design, it is used with a BO-10 Adapter and has a separate lock ring. This lock ring has stub ACME threads making the BO-10 Coupling the preference when installing large trees or where dissimilar metals could cause galling problems.

The TC-1W is a split, wrap-around packoff that allows fluids displacement while maintaining complete control of annular pressure. A tubing suspension adapter, or coupling-type adapter must be used along with the TC-1W packoff.
