Testing of F.O. cables before and after laying
a.Perform OTDR test for underground cables prior to back filling the trench. b.Verify continuity of the cable to confirm correct location/tag. c.Performattenuation measurements for each fiber in db/km. d.Perform attenuation coefficient for 1310nm and 1550nm. e.Check chromatic dispersion at 1550nm and record zero dispersion wave length, zero slope.
