All of you are expected to bring the documents mentioned in the joining letter, failing which you will not be allowed to join. The following documents have to be brought on the first day: y y

Letter and Joining Letter Download Annexure to Joining Letter Following Documents are covered under the Annexure. Please take a print out of the documents and submit the duly filled forms at the time of joining. Service Agreement: Download Preview of Service Agreement o Please print or type the first page of the Service Agreement on a 100 Rs. stamp paper and attach the same to the remaining pages of the service agreement as given, on plain paper. If 100 Rs. stamp paper is not available, please use two 50 Rs. stamp papers. The stamp paper should be purchased in your name. o The Service Agreement needs to be duly completed, bearing your Surety's signature on all pages (that is. At the bottom of the pages) and at the designated places on the last page. A surety can be a person who is an Income Tax payee or who possesses landed property. Day One Continuous learning is a way of life in TCS and forms a critical part of your employment with TCS. On joining, you will undergo the International award winning Initial Learning Program (ILP). This formal learning will add value to you as a professional and help you excel in all your endeavors. The ILP currently happens at six centers namely, Thiruvanathpuram, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Guwahati and Bhubhneshwar. You would be provided with a double occupancy room during ILP. It is mandatory for you to stay at the ILP provided accommodation and you would be given the accommodation details through email one week in advance of ILP. Please note that TCS arranged accommodation will not be available to the persons (if any) who
accompany you to the place of ILP .
Travel arrangements to the TCS office where you are posted after ILP, have to be done by yourself. A maximum amount of second AC train fare will be reimbursed by TCS. TCS has arranged buses for your daily travel from the accommodation provided to ILP centre and return. You will have to pay for this travel arrangement.
Attire Guidelines TCS believes that its employees are representat ives of the Organization, and their dress, grooming and personal hygiene is a reflection of TCS to the outside world. All employees are expected to adhere to the Dress Code guideline when at the workplace (both during and beyond official working hours). Workplace for the purpose of this guideline includes TCS Offices, Client Offices and any other location where the employee represents TCS. Guidelines for Dressing a. TCS expects its employees to dress in accordance with acceptable standards of good taste, including being µneat¶, µclean¶ and µwell groomed¶ at all times. b. Employees are encouraged to take pride in their appearance. Clothes should be neat and well pressed. Body hugging clothes should be avoided. c. What is ILP? Pre-Engagement Program | Initial Learning Progarm | Post ILP Pre-Engagement Program Pre-ILP is conducted during the per iod prior to the associates joining Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS). It aims at equipping the part icipants with the basic knowledge in certain specified areas prior to attending the TCS ILP training, through self learning. A study plan, consisting of timelines and topics of study, is provided to the participants. The participants are expected to make the best use of the Pre-ILP phase and gain a thorough understanding of the assigned topics. During the Pre-ILP phase, the participants are evaluated on their understanding through a series of tests and exercises. This evaluation will help in assessing the readiness of the participants for the ILP phase. Completion of the Pre-ILP phase will enable the participants to progress on a faster track.. Pre-ILP Schedule and curriculum: The Pre-ILP phase enables the part icipants to learn about the basics of Computers, Programming, Software Engineering, Web Technologies and Relational Database Management Systems. Along with this we offer you a preparatory course on English Communication skills for the workplace! We are delighted to offer this online self-learning course that will hone your English communication skills before you embark on the Initial Learning Program (ILP) of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
