ALOVERA (SABILA/ALOE BARBADENSIS) ALTERNATIVE INK and STAIN REMOVER
Chapter I
INTRODUCTION and IT'S BACKGROUND
Many people, especially those who are indigent cannot afford to buy expensive ink or stain remover. How can they solve it? Well I suggest to use the herbal plant Aloevera (Sabila). In making our own stain/ink alternative remover. In this,we can prevent spending for buying chemical products. The only ingredients we use are alovera leaves extract and vinegar, as preservative. The discovery of the potential of Aloevera extract as an alternative stain remover will be a breakthrough and will contribute additional knowledge in the field of molecular biology.
Statement of the Problem:
This study ought to answer the following problems:
Is the Aloevara extract, effective as an alternative stain remover?
- Could it really remove fabric stain?
- If it can, how long does it take to do so?
- Is it harmful to us?
- Who will benefit this? This study focused on the effectiveness of the aloevera extract as a stain remover. The researchers conducted the study using some stains and research work for one week. They use different techniques in conducting this research, which deals with molecular biology.
This study would be more comprehensive and meaningful if it covers all kinds of stains to know if aloevera extract can remove a lot of stains.?
Formulation of the Hypothesis:
1. We can produce ink remover out of Aloevera leaves extract and vinegar.
2. The aloevera extract is safe to use.
3. Vinegar is the best preservative and component with Aloevera.
Significance of the study:
The significance of the study that we can produce from Aloevera extract is without wasting much time and money, this project can help not only the students but also for others. In addition, it is cost-friendly and all natural.
Since it would help people realize how much of use God's creation is to them so in response, they would treat it with utmost care. Rationale Stains are one of man's worst enemy. Unfortunately, no matter how hard we try, it appears in our clothes. The good thing is we can remove it through commercial stain removers. One bad thing about these commercialized detergents is that it contains substances which may be harmful to us and our environment. The researchers heard of the use of Aloevera extract as an alternative ink/stain remover. It is natural, health-friendly, and affordable. They want to test the effectiveness of this plant for the betterment of all.
Scope and Delimitation:
This study has the following scope and delimitation.
- This research study will give way for an immediate solution and response to the problems of stains.
- Indirectly, this study will provide great knowledge to some researchers or even companies that deal in molecular biological studies to focus on the effectiveness of this plant as an effective stain remover
Aloevera Materials and Equipments
* Strainer * Vinegar * Bowl * Aloevea leaves extract
Procedure:
1. Prepare all the materials needed. After preparing, wash the Aloevera leaves, then extract the Aloevera leaves in a bowl.Strain ,add 1 tbsp. of vinegar.
2. Put directly on stained clothes, rub, then wash the clothes with water and soap.
Defenition of Terms :
Aloevara –Scientific name: Aloe Barbadenes Mill
l. English name: Curacao Aloe, Tagalog name: Sabila, Spanish name: Acibar
2. Vinegar – a sour liquid obtained by fermentation of wine or malt use to flavor or preserve foods.
3.Stains
- A stain is a discoloration that can be clearly distinguished from the surface, material, or medium it is found upon. Materials Cloth Kamias Stains

Review of Related Literature Aloevara (Aloe Barbadensis)
- The sabila, Aloe Barbadensis, L., (Oxalidaceae), is closely allied to the carambola but quite different in appearance, manner of extracting and uses.
- Sabila extract, because of its oxalic acid content, is useful for bleaching stains from the hands and rust from white cloth, and also tarnish from brass.
Stains
- A stain is a discoloration that can be clearly distinguished from the surface, material, or medium it is found upon. Materials Cloth Kamias Stains

CHAPTER III
Methodology:
SUBJECT OF THE STUDY
1. To make a cheaper alternative ink/stain remover.
2. To make a non toxic and safe stain remover
3. To lessen the burden of the people who undergo financial difficulties on how to budget their money in buying expensive stain remover.
Procedure
1) Gather the materials needed for the experiment expecially the cloth that would be used for testing.
2) Generously apply the different stains on each cloth.
3) Afterwards, squeeze the extract out of aloevera leaves (the same size) on each cloth specifically where the stain is located.
4)Then wait for 10 minutes.
5) Finally, see the result. If result is not as desired, scrub the cloth. Presentation, Interpretation
