How is your education and experience relevant to this particular profile? As you can see in m y profile I have graduated the Archivistic University in June 2003. Later, in 2005 I have graduated the ³Archivistic and Historical Historical Sources ³ Master courses within Archivistics University University in Bucharest. My entire work experience is based on archive field. I started as archivist at the Department for the State Archive right after graduating university. Here I had the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge about collecting, sorting, filing, preserving and storing documents. Beside these I made descriptions descriptions of the inventoried documents and searched documents with scientific or practical value in order to deliver them to the requesters (firms or citizens). I was also responsible for assistance and control activities carried out at the l ocation of different archive creators and holders and for approving selection papers and archivistic nomenclatures. This part of my experience was very important for my training as an archivist. After spending three years in the Department for State Archive I felt myself ready to approach a different kind of archive management. So, in 2006 I choose to continue my career/ professional development within ProCredit Bank, a private company. My achieved knowledge from the Department for the State Archive has proved very useful as I had to organize the entire archival activity activity of the Bank. I started by organizing a deposit for the archived documents then I elaborated a procedure for document arciving and delivered trainings trainings to the bank employees. The next step was to collect, sort, fill and store the documents and to develop an electronic evidence of the documents. After I was sure that a quick retrieval of documents was guaranteed, I moved forward by implementing unified archiving rules in all the branches/agencies of the bank and by organizing document selection and destroying. My results were fully rewarded when I was chosen to manage the Archiving Unit. So I continued by coordinating the archiving activity of the Bank that was carried out in the Head Office and in t he branches/agencies as well. I also provided support to the subordinated employee in order to fulfill their duties and objectives, I ensured proper distribution of the tasks and followed how they were met, I updated the internal procedure for document archiving, ensured inter-department collaboration in order to reach common objectives, identifyed the need of services and materials within the archive deposit, received services and materials and followed up the payments.

Outline two of your main achievements. Describe what they are, the process you went through and their positive outcomes for you and for others. The main achievement of my carrier was to succeed in organizing the ProCredit Bank archive starting from zero. Part of this project involved organizing an archival deposit, elaborating a working procedure, delivering trainings, developing an electronic evidence of documents, collecting, sorting, indexing and storing documents. The most challenging tasks were to implement a unified system of document archiving in all the branches and to develop a procedure for accessing the documents based on information security standards. The main steps for the first one consisted in creating lists with all the documents created in the bank, establishing what documents should contain every file, training the employee in order to respect the established rules and controlling that the rules were correctly applied. In order to develop a procedure for accessing the documents I had to establish specific access rights to every document for each category of employee. For that I had to observe the activity of all the employees, to see what information was needed for each of them in order to successfuly complete their job. In this way, the company gained both security and confidentiality of the created documents and also easy access to the information. Because I like working with people, as this was always challenging to me, I consider my second greatest achievement the fact that I managed to create a united and competitive team that succeded in covering all the archival needs of the company. At first I identified the total number of people needed for all the archiving activities. Then I gave them common tasks and I evaluated each person based on the results they had. After that I assigned tasks based on the skill and preference of each person. This has brought benefits to both employees and the company because the employees performed their work with pleasure and the company gained high quality services.
My 12 years of experience as a librarian, archivist and documentalist have enabled me to acquire solid skills in the processing of archives, information research and filing. I am proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office suite software, as well as in archiving software, including Drawing Manager and Microstation. My legal knowledge in archive management, combined with my personnel management experience have prepared me for positions of
high responsibility. I am a thorough, detail-oriented and always reliable person who continues to be passionate about my chosen field.
