Seeking opinion and suggestions on nationwide ceasefire
With regard to president U Thein Sein’s call for a nationwide ceasefire (announcement No.1/2011) officially announced on 18 August 2011, Restoration Council of Shan State is now seeking your opinion and suggestions as follow. 1. With regard to the nationwide ceasefire that the Thein Sein government wants to achieve with all the ethnics as announced, what opinion do the members of RCSS, Shan State people and the Buddhist monks – all our patriots have? 2. With regard to the nationwide ceasefire announcement, there is a chance for Thein Sein government and RCSS to meet for negotiation.
