1 Introduction
1
Introduction
The GSM Radio Frequency Unit (GRFU) is a Radio Frequency (RF) unit based on the multi-carrier technology. GRFUs are installed in the indoor macro base station (including the BTS3900 and the BTS3900L) and the outdoor macro base station (namely, the BTS3900A). They are usually used in scenarios requiring large capacity.
1.1 Appearance Figure 1-1 shows the exterior of the GRFU. Figure 1-1 Exterior of the GRFU

NOTE

2.5 Power Consumption 2.5.1 Power Consumption of the BTS3900 NOTE
Multi-carrier intelligent voltage regulation, TRX working voltage adjustment, discontinuous transmission (DTX), power control, and power sharing are enabled.
The power consumption listed in this section refers to the power consumption of BTS3900s with -48 V DC.
TOC refers to the output power at the duplex port on the BTS.
