Feeder protection REJ603 with HMI603 Application Note: Installation Installat ion of HMI and Battery Batter y
Dear Reader This application note describes the installation of HMI and battery for the REJ603.
Introduction The REJ603 relay has add on battery powered HMI (Human Machine Interface) with a unique touch screen display. With the HMI user can get add-on functionality line segregated trip indication, events with time stamp, fault record, display of primary values, fault codes etc., which helps in post fault analysis. The HMI also overcomes the limitation of setting resolution posed by DIP switches and allows finer settings as well as setting of additional parameters. The add-on HMI kit (HMI603) can be ordered separately and installation of HMI kit is possible at site on existing installed relay (REJ603 V1.0 SP1 and V1.5).
