TECHNIQUE (QW-410) Clean the Weld areas and adjacent areas of oil , grease, rust etc. Assemble components as per contract drawing. Tack weld by SMAW Process ensuring that the tacks become an acceptable part o f the root run. Complete root run by SMAW Process. Complete welding to the required dimension by SMAW process using specified electrodes. Dress slightly high spot obtain a good profile. Carry out DP to test the weld soundness. String or Weave Bead
