POLYSENSOR: It is a machine in which the fibres other than the cotton, like polyester, polyethylene, coloured fibre s…etc., are removed from cotton fibres. The polysensor consists of 48 ca meras. 24 on each side. There will be a proper lighting so that the cameras can captures the foreign materials easily. It takes about 10 pics/sec. If any foreign materials are detected it is thrown out by blowing air at high pressure.
DDC: DDC- “Dust Deducting cage”.
This is used to remove minute dust particles. It consists of two perforated drums (or) ca ges, between which the material will move. When the material moves between these two cages the minute particles will be taken into the cages through the perforations, as there will be suction through those perforations.

Passage of material in carding:
The material is fed through chute feed system to lickerin by passing over the feed plate. Then the material transfers to the cylinder by stripping action. The material i s cleaned with the help of carding action, which takes place between cylinder and flats. The cleaned cotton transfers to the Doffer, a nd there by it is delivered in the form of web. This web is condensed by passing through condenser (or) Trumpet. The condensed material is known as sliver. This sliver moves initially through table calendar roller followed by collier calendar roller. Finally the sliver is wound in the form of coils in a can. PASSAGE OF MATERIAL THROUGH UNILAP:-
The draw-frame cans are used to give the feed. The sliver from the draw-frame cans passed to the guide and then through stop motion rollers. The stop motion rollers will stop working i f the material is not present in between the rollers. Then the sliver reaches the funnel by passing through guide plate and separators. All slivers are collected &condensed at funnel and these slivers are drafted at drawing rollers. Each drafting section can draft 14 slivers, remaining 14 slivers are drafted by another drafting system. The drafted material from section-1 & section-2 are combined and wound on a spool.

AUTOLEVELER:Auto leveler maintains the uniformity, evenness and hank constantly. The auto leveler machine consist of one moveable roller and one fixe d roller. While scanning of sliver, movable roller can moves slightly into and fro direction. This movements can be done according t o fluctuations present in the sliver. The scanning rollers generates an signal. This signals are basically of low strength so they are amplified in an amplifier and passes to the servo motor, accor ding to the signals received corrections are made by changing drafting rollers speed. So that we can get uniformed sliver as the delivery.
SIMPLEX OBJECT: Object of the machine is to draft the sliver to from roving of required draft the sliver to form roving of required hank twist the drafted stand and wind the roving roving on the bobbin. PASSAGE OF MATERIAL THROUGH A SPEED FRAME:
Finisher drawing cans are used to give f eed to simplex. The slivers are passed through ceramic guides by means of creels. After passing through 4 creels the sliver enter into t he drafting zone by passing through inlet condenser. The sliver can be drafted till r equired hank of material delivered. The delivered fibresare slightly twisted by the false twister. The twist range in the simplex i s 0.9-1.5 TPI. T he twisted material is called as roving. Then roving is passed through flyer and to flyer finger .finally the roving can be wind on a bobbin in proper manner. PASSAGE OF MATERIAL THROUGH A RING FRAME:
Roving un winds from creeled bobbins and is guided by J-lever and guide rods then it enters into drafting system by passing trough condenser. At drafting system the material is drafted and is delivered from the front roller of drafting system. The delivered fibre strand is collected with the help of already produced yarn. The existing yarn will carry untwisted fibres through lappet hook. ABC ring and between traveler and flange. PASSAGE OF MATERIAL THROUGH A AUTOCONER:The ring cops are placed manually by the workers in a magazine which have 6 to 9 slots. These cops are transferred to the peg by passing over a guide plate. The yarn from cop will passes through balloon controller, loop gate, ceramic guides, tensioner, EYE and Wax unit. Finally it is wound on to a cone. FUNCTIONS OF VARIOUS PARTS IN AUTOCONER:
PEG: It holds the cop in vertical direction COP EJECTOR: It ejects the cops when ever no. of faults in cops is exceeds a set point. Loop gate: loop gate controls the slough offing of yarn from cop. BALOON CONTROLLER: more no. of balloons causes end breakage in autoconer. So balloon controller is there to control ballon formation. CERAMIC GUIDE: Mechanical parts may damage the yarn TENSIONER: Tensioner applies the optimum tension to yarn. EYE: Electronic yarn clearer removes objectionable faults by sensing continuously. WAX UNIT: Wax unit apply the ax to the yarn to reduce hairiness of yarn. SPLICER: Splicer splices the yarn when breakages occur.
