Abstract
The City of Masbate is a third class city in the province of Masbate, Philippines. It is the only city in the province that serves as its City Provincial Capital. Due to its developing economy and resurging local tourism, the concept of linkages with other island provinces has been helpful for its continuing growth. ith the city!s aim of an effective transport system system as a tool for its successful tourism pro"ect, the redevelopment of its #erry Terminal system will integrate its economic advancement.
$udget airfares are common now, but undeniably, travelling via ferries is still a popular choice among local tourist because of its ine%pensiveness and the adventure it offers. &ur current ferry system right now can accommodate the demands in terms of passenger and cargo volume, the problem lies with the lack of support facilities, problems such as overcrowding in terminals, handling and safekeeping of cargoes are common. Part of a developing City is its need for the establishment of commercial districts, strategic planning of sustainable facilities and promotion of tourist destinations. Considering that progress in the City is already in place, sustainability and innovation must be composed and practiced through the adaptation of related architectural solutions that utili'e the progress of a redevelopment pro"ect. The proposed ferry terminal of the town is located in its capital where business and economic progress are on its peak and the enhancement of tourist facilities e%ists which definitely connects and influence people!s way of living.
