Here is the only TLE reviewer available in National bookstore today: The author is Romeo S. Ebonite. The price is only P320. I took up 21 units of Prof.Ed. last semester and I am an IT graduate. I thought I would only take an exam for computer specialization but according to what I ha ve heard, those teachers who will be teaching Hardware Servicing in Junior and S enior HS (Grade 11 & 12) of this new K-12 curriculum by 2016-2018 will be the TE SDA graduates who took up the COMPUTER HARDWARE SERVICING NC II. Therefore, ther e wont be questions in LET about computers. As you can see on the TOS, computer is not included there. So what probably will happen is, for us (IT graduates) to have a license, we nee d to pass the LET even if we do not have an idea about what we are going to take since we did not take this in college: Basic Drafting 10% Business Math 6% Basic Electricity 13% Basic Plumbing 12% Cosmetology 8% Foods 13% Carpentry and Masonry 20% Basic Electronics 12% So maybe, when that time comes, we could only take another course in TESDA for u s to be able to teach the Computer Hardware Servicing subject in high school fou r years from now. By the way TLE teachers (non-computer graduates) will handle t he Exploratory Course for Computer Hardware Servicing in Grades 7 & 8. These are simple/basic lessons about tool handling and maintenance. But for specializatio n which will start in Grade 9, an NC 1 or 2 graduate of COMPUTER HARDWARE SERVIC ING will handle it. Good thing is that DepEd will hire 61,000 new teachers in 2013. Dapat makasabay na tayo dito so we really need to pass the LET this year or next. PRC needs to polish their system. Sa toto lang hindi nga eh, dahil ang IT at Comp.S ci. graduates ay more on Software not in Hardware.
